"Jessica, babe, I made breakfast, wake up." "Ugh! Do I have to?" I chuckled. "C'mon, I made bacon." She ran in with my shirt on, covering her chest and part of her legs. "Hey, we never talked about it last night... What happened to your scars?" "The lightning bolt gave me superspeed and ice powers. The superspeed and ice capabilities gave me fast healing. The scars faded quickly after that." "Ah, that's too bad. I always found them hot." I smiled and kissed her. I plated the bacon and eggs and sat on her couch, flicking the TV on. I put it on the news. It showed Barry running around some guy with some kind of ice gun. "Can I ever have a break?" I stood up and Jessica grabbed my arm. "No, stay here with me." "Ok." I gave her a peck on the lips and sat down.

Flashback (5 Years Earlier)

Jessica and I were at our friend's wedding. After the bride and groom had their dance everyone else went to the ballroom floor.

Jessica and I were slow dancing. Before I knew it, she and I were kissing. Everything around us just faded.

She was weird with me after that. She didn't talk to me for awhile. She wouldn't respond to my calls or texts.

Flashback End

"Hey, Jess." "Yeah?" "Why did you ignore me after the wedding five years ago." "I felt something, some-thing I never felt before. I never felt with another guy. Hey, I thought we've been over this." "I know, I just like hearing it." I kissed her passion-ately. She didn't hesitate to kiss back.

I went back to Central City 2 days later with Jessica. "This is STAR labs." I told her as we walked into the Cortex. "Dude, it's not exactly wise to let anyone in on your secret." Cisco said simply. "It's fine, I trust her." Jessica smiled. "So, where's your suit?" She asked me curiously. I pulled it out of the closet. I sped it on in a matter of seconds. She smiled again. I kissed her. I heard heels clacking. I winced, knowing what was about to happen. "What the Hell?!" I turned to see Caitlin. "When I said I couldn't do it, I meant as of then. I still love you and you do this to me." She stormed out.

Jessica left me, Caitlin hated me, and now I'm bleeding out on the sidewalk.

Flashback (1 Hour Earlier)

I sped into a warehouse where a drug deal was going down. I took out the dealers and buyers. I grabbed the drugs to give to the police to confiscate. Right before I could speed off, a loud bang sounded. I dropped the bags and fell to my side. "So much for being faster than the streak." He pointed the gun at my head. I ice blasted him aside. I tried to freeze my wound, but it only made it worse.

I stumbled out of the warehouse and fell. I tried to move but couldn't.

Flashback End

I tried to move again, but I failed again. "Cait..." I spoke into the comm. No repsonse. "Caitlin, please... I need help..." Still no response. I heard Cisco start to speak, but I couldn't make out his words. I passed out.

I woke up in the med-bay as Cisco changed my IV. "Dude, what happened?" "What do you think?" I asked gesturing to my fading wound.

I stepped out of the med-bay and turned to Caitlin. "What the Hell is wrong with you? One of Central City's new heroes almost died out there because of your personal feelings! I get I upset you, but don't let me die!" She bit down on her lip. "Well, maybe you shouldn't move on in a matter of hours! If you loved me, truly loved me, you wouldn't go and sleep with some sl-" "Don't you dare call her that!" I yelled, taking an aggressive step towards her. "She is far better than I am, she is a goddess compared to you or any other woman." She glared at me before storming out.

"Cisco, hey. Isn't this supposed to be Earth's strongest material?" I asked, gesturing to my suit. "Yeah, why?" "How did the dealer harm me than?" "He might of hit a chink in the armor." He said nervously. "Cisco, did you put a chink in my armor to try to patch up my relationship with Cait?" I asked, irritated at him for meddling with my personal life. "Maybe." "Cisco, don't you ever! EVER! Mess with my personal life AGAIN!!!" He flinched when I snapped at him. I walked out of the Cortex and left.
