Narrator's pov

The bright burning sun in the sky was obvious that the day was going amazing for Kate, she had just landed the second lead role for a big production movie and she couldn't wait to show the world what she was made of.

Sure there were so many other people that deserved that spot but she got the opportunity, there was no way she'd let that slip away, even if it meant she had to get along with Hollywood's headache, Autumn Hester

The girl grinned as she approached the metal gates of the studio, the familiar guard immediately saw her approaching and ran towards the gate, pulling it open

"Good morning ma'am" He said politely, Kate couldn't help but raise her brow

It's interesting how differently people treat you when you gain some sort of status

The world was a funny place

Nether the less, she wasn't going to tell him anything and ruin her mood. She was in cloud nine and there was no one going to bring her mood down

"Good morning" Kate smiled sweetly

The girl slipped past the gate and headed towards the front door of the studio, exactly where May told her to meet her

"Kate, hii" May squealed when the girl approached

"Hi, good morning" Kate chuckled

"Glad you made it" The woman smiled

"I can't thank you enough for this" Kate sighed

"Don't worry about it, you've got the talent, you've got the perfect look for the character. I would have chosen you the exact moment I saw you but, I had to make sure my co worker saw it for himself" she chuckled

"That makes my heart blow up in my chest" Kate chuckled

"How did you get here?" May asked

"I took a bu-"

"Nope. Not anymore, I'll send a car for you. Take it as a gift, he'll take you wherever you need to be. Don't want anything happening to my lead now would we?" May chuckled

Kate's eyes went wide as her lips slowly parted, her brain couldn't register any words besides the shock that went through her veins

"I'm sorry, what?"

"A personal driver, don't worry about it. It's perks of being on the movie set" May chuckled

"That's too much, honestly" Kate mumbled

"Oh come on, it's okay. As a matter of fact, it's mandatory, no objections" May grinned

"This... This is.. Wow" Kate whispered

"Come along now dear, don't want you late for your first day of rehersals" May chuckled

"Right, where do I have to go?"

"Down the hall and into the left, take the elevator to the 11th floor, you'll find a familiar face" May smiled as lightly shoved the girl in the direction of the door

"aren't you coming?"

"I'll be there shortly" May grinned as Kate headed through the door

The taps of Kate's heels clinked along the marbled floor, the girl wore a casual pencil skirt with heels and a button up. Her fingers barley grazed against the dark oak walls as she walked down the wide hallways, she gave a small smile to the woman at the front desk

The elevator had white marble walls, a blue carpet, a silver handrail, and no buttons. Kate pressed her finger against the small buttons, awaiting the metal doors to slide open.

A small ding was heard, alerting that the doors were sliding open. Kate's smile was as wide as it could ever be. There she was, taking a next step into her life, her career. That next step was literally starting her life

The next step she took was surely to be a memorable one

Which is exactly why her bright grin slowly fell in a shocked and disgusted face when her brown eyes landed on the two girls devouring each others mouth inside the elevator

Autumn had a blonde pressed again the wall of the elevator with her hands above her head, her legs wrapped around her body as her moans filled the small compartment.

Kate's eyes were the size of two moons as she stared at the two girls, her body felt frozen in place, almost paralyzed. Did Autumn really not care that people were watching? The elevator was wide open for fuck sakes

The sounds of lips smacking were heard throughout the entire elevator, Kate knew she needed to get to the movie set but she hadn't a clue what the hell to do. Should she wait for the next one? But then again, Autumn needed to be on the set too

"Shouldn't you be in room 10?" Kate asked

Autumn furrowed her brows as she pulled away from the blonde woman in her arms, her neck snapped around to see Kate standing there

"Ugh, it's you again" Autumn rolled her eyes

"Yeah. Me again" Kate mumbled as she stepped into the elevator

"Shh, kiss me" the blonde said as she cupped Autumn's cheek, bringing their faces together again, Autumn smirked as she continued devouring the woman's lips

Kate couldn't help but furrow her brows, Autumn said that her girlfriend had broken up with her last week, did she move on that quickly? Was that her girlfriend? Honestly, Kate felt like doing some teasing. It was the best she could do, it's their faults for making her uncomfortable in a simple elevator ride

"You surely move on really fast" Kate mumbled as the elevator door shutted

Autumn rolled her eyes again and snapped her neck in the direction of the brown hair girl

"Your point is!?" she hissed

"leave her alone, just focus on me" The blonde groaned as she pulled the girl's lips back onto her own

"My point is, you seemed pretty upset over that breakup. I'm surprised you're here sucking the life out of another person" Kate chuckled

Autumn's blood boiled in her veins as her neck snapped in the girl's direction again, the blonde rolled her eyes at the fact that Autumn was being distracted too much

"You know what, forget this" The blonde hissed as she shoved the raven hair girl off her

Autumn furrowed her brows at the blonde that was fixing her messy hair,  she pressed a button on the elevator so she could get off on the next floor

"What the heck?" Autumn asked

"I'm just giving you some private time with your girlfriend over there since you clearly can't focus on one thing" The blonde hissed as she headed towards the now opened elevator door

Kate contained her laughter as her eyes watched the blonde walk out the door, leaving her and her Co star alone

"Oh you think this is funny?" Autumn asked as she ran her fingers through her hair, trying to fix her own messy hair

"Yeah, I kinda do" Kate chuckled

"You try getting blue puss in the middle of an elevator" Autumn rolled her eyes

"Blue... Blue balls?" Kate asked

"Like blue balls, but more pussy" Autumn smirked, causing Kate to roll her eyes

"It's a public elevator, fuck somewhere else" Kate said as she crossed her arms, her eyes trailed over the floor number, wondering why the heck it was taking so long to even reach to the top

"I could tell you haven't had sex in public" Autumn chuckled

"And why would I do something like that!?" Kate asked

"Are you seriously asking me that?"

"Yes, I really don't get the big deal" Kate shrugged

"You'll find out when we have sex in public" Autumn winked

Kate did an eye roll that literally made her pupils disappear in the back of her head, she was beyond the level of annoyance and tolerance for the actress

"As if" she scoffed

"Don't say that so soon" Autumn chuckled, her hands gripped the handles behind her as her eyes ran over the brunette standing to the side of the elevator

She watched her rounded face, slightly lighter than ivory with a rose coloured tint to her cheeks. Her small brown eyes that were lively, warm, and sparkled with bliss when she smiled. When she was angry her eyes seemed to grow dim and dark, it was oddly attractive for the actress. Kate's smooth dark brown hair fell down her shoulders.

Autumn even noticed her dimpled chin but she hadn't really saw the girl smile besides the small chuckle she gave just a few seconds ago, but it was still pretty to see. Her pink, slight, buttoned nose that was just above her delicate lips made Autumn smile

With the feeling of Autumn's eyes on her, Kate finally took a glance at the raven hair girl. It was only then did she finally take in the girl's full appearance without the level of annoyance in her mind

Her soft, ivory shoulders were exposed and her straight black hair fell down her back. Her lips were carefully tinted red and her skin was flawless. Her silver and blue eyes shone like twin moons in a grand dining hall. She wore an off the shoulder shirt that exposed a part of her chest tightly, Kate sucked in a breath as she quickly diverted her eyes

A smirk pulled across Autumn's lips when she noticed the small blush appearing on the girl's lips, she knew Kate was checking her out and it made her feel even more confident

Kate's eyes then returned to Autumn's long, dark hair that tumbled over her  back like a fountain of molten obsidian, an aquiline nose, and plump pink lips that were almost memorizing to look at.

"What about the blonde that just left?" Kate whispered

Autumn approached the girl slowly, the tension between them started to build even more. Their eyes still locked with each other as Autumn's teeth sunk into her bottom ones, Kate felt a shiver roll down her spine by the image

"She's a nobody" Autumn said as her chest came closer towards Kate

It was only then did that trance break, Kate blinked rapidly as she came back to her sense. Her hands reached up and shoved Autum back into the wall, the actress groaned when her back collided with the handle of the elevator

"Wow. Just fucking wow. Is that how you treat every woman!?" Kate hissed

"What the fuck" Autum groaned as her hand pressed against her back, feeling a small pain

"Fucking dumbass" Kate rolled her eyes

"what's your fucking problem!" Autum hissed

"You're my damn problem!" The brunette spat

"You need to chill the heck out sometimes, you're always looking like you have a stick up your ass" Autum glared

"Yeah, because that stick is you!" Kate hissed

"That's disgusting"

"No. Your whoring ass ways is disgusting. You make out with a girl after your breakup and you call her nothing. Real mature Ms Hester. You know what, your reputation speaks for itself"

"Oh mature? You're the one that started being dramatic over a small accident on a road" Autum yelled

"Who goes around calling people a dumbass bitch!"

"So what!? If you're that sensitive then you really can't be in this industry" Autum snapped, her dark eyes pierced into Kate's

But the words left her dumbfounded. It honestly made sense. Hollywood was a place where you make or break your career, even the strongest buckled under pressure. Kate had a big heart and was easily triggered by so many things. If she couldn't handle being called a simple word, how was she going to handle dealing with pressure, toxic teammates, constant hate being thrown through her ear

Was she really ready?
