Narrator's pov

"You went silent real quick, I'm surprised" Autumn chuckled

"I'm not getting any infections from your nasty ass car"

"Oh, so you WANT your bare ass hanging out on the hood"

"Wha- NO"

"And the cold breeze to fill your coochie hole-"

"AUTUMN"

"what" the raven hair girl pouted with a hidden smile

"Ugh you idiot"

"You wuv me, don't even" Autumn chuckled

"Now who said anything about that?"

"I did" Autumn said

"Oh?"

"Yes. Oh" She chuckled

"You're quite delusional, are you a Camren shipper?" Kate asked

"Oh you did NOT JUST GO THERE" Autumn gasped

"Oh yes I did" Kate smirked

"You're one to talk"

"Oh?"

"Yes. Don't you think I've leaned over your shoulders a little too many times and seen you read those smutt scenes" Autumn smirked

"i-"

"Gotcha bitch"

"Whatever!"

"Oh don't whatever me!"

"WHATEVER AUTUMN"

"Shut up"

"Make me"

"Oh don't try that. It's a dangerous road sweetheart" Autumn winked at the girl in her arms

"Whatever. Speaking of dangerous roads. Is this where you're taking me to murder me? I would have thought you'd just chop me up into pieces and put me in a freezer. One like our house since you don't raise the AC!"

"You know... You talk too much. I should stick my tongue down your throat and maybe you'd shut up" Autumn glared

"Don't be shy.. Do it"

"Oh. Bold are we?" Autumn smirked

"Well I'm going to die in a few minutes in this woods so sure. Why not?" Kate chuckled

"I'm not going to murder you sweetheart" Autumn giggled

"I don't know tha-"

"KATE"

"what?" the brunette chuckled

"God you're annoying"

"Shut up. You wuv me" Kate smirked, using the girl's words against here

"Touche Wilson. Touche"

The bare branches spiked into the sky, It was so dark you were barely able to see where you were going but the darkness started to fade into light as Autumn approached a corner

The dimness started to come into view before a dazzling glow appeared.  Golden lights hung from tree to tree, forming a pathway of light against the flat sandy ground that led towards a red and white blanket on the ground surrounded by a cluster of trees, light up by small twinkling golden bulbs, illuminating over the soft push and pull of the lake in front of the picnic set up

Kate's eyes glowed from the lights in the corner of her frame but they also lit up with amazement, her lips slowly parted as they came closer towards the blanket

"I remember you once saying that there was a spot your father took you too when you were younger. It was hard to find because a bunch of bushes started growing around here so I cleaned it up for you, I always remembered you saying your perfect idea for a date would be candle light dinner next to a lake. Unfortunately we're in the middle of the forest and we can't light candles-" Autumn said

Kate buried her face into her palm before chuckling softly, the actress lowered her feet to the ground when they reached the peak of the lake

"-So I got the closest and safest things. I've been waiting a really long time to take you on a date. I want to start over with you Kate, we've been all over the place. First we were bitchy then there was this tension that led to making out and sex. Mind. Blowing. Sex. But feelings got so mixed up in between that we didn't even get the chance to figure out what the hell was happening. But if you'll have me, I ask that we start over, get to know each other because we want to, not because we were forced. I want to learn everything else there is to know about you Kate, and with that, I'm going to show you my heart, I want you to hold it in your hands and protect it, because I want to learn to love you" Autumn muttered before glancing over to the brunette

Kate felt a rush of emotions sore through her body, passing through her veins with a force that could knock her off of her feet and explode her heart into a million tiny pieces

Autumn's hands reached the girl's waist as she pulled her closer, their bodies pressed against each other and closed off any cold air from pushing through their warm, heated bodies

"But if that's not what you want, please tell me now. It's totally okay if this isn't what you signed up for or you changed you mind. Even if... Sex.. Is all you want.. Just.. Tell me so I don't fall down a path I'm already running into" Autumn whispered

Her fingers brushed against the girl's soft cheek, stroking it with her flat thumb lightly

It wasn't the color of her eyes that were so breathtaking, as it was what was inside them. Heavy eyelids, so bright. Slightly shining with the tears that had yet to fall in trickling lines, streaking down her face. The blue-gray of stormy skies that drowned you in the rain to come.

Kate was lost in them again as she was always lost in everything Autumn had to offer

Her heart was already going off like a ticking time bomb inside her chest and her feelings felt as if it was lit by a fuse and they went off like fireworks

Everything she's ever wanted to hear was being whispered to life in front of her. An answer was needed to explain what she felt and Kate knew she was ready

She was going to let her heart speak

"You're all that I want. You have no idea how long I've wanted you, how long I've waited for you. I've kept myself in a box for far too long, you're all I think about and it drives me insane. When you're not here, all I want is to touch you, to be standing next to you, to be held by you Autumn. God you're all I want and there's way I'd ever back away from this" Kate said

Her hands reached up to cup Autumn's cheek between her palms, tilting the girl's head down to stare into those pure brown eyes that spoke her emotions

"So give me your heart and I'll give you mine because I want you as badly as you want me. I will learn to love you, you will learn to love me. I will protect it with my urge to love you, I will never give it away because it's now apart of me. But I only wish you do the same for me. I've been hurt before and you have too, so let's take these broken hearts and create something special, something different. Something we've never experienced before" Kate said

Stars light the sky like snow-flakes in the night, filling the glossy eyes of the two actresses yet it appeared still, like an old photograph

Autumn smiled, feeling the wind blow her hair into a tousled mane. Her heart was out there in space, riding the limits of the known universe, they would be a choreographed blizzard

The starlight moved around the glossy release of their eyes yet Kate stood still as ever, her heart and mind shaking hands to know they had finally came to an agreement

An agreement that was obvious. Kate had finally admitted what she wanted and had stopped fighting to hold herself back

And now, she was getting what she wanted and a person that wanted to love her through it all

It their emotions were visible it would be fireworks in the velvet dark, the blaze that dares to light up the night

"I promise I'm not going to hurt you" Kate whispered

"Don't keep promises you can't keep" Autumn stated

"Which is exactly why I'm making this promise. I'm not like anyone you've met and you know this. You've been hurt way to many times Autumn yet you're still here standing strong with a smile and a heart that has been punched, stabbed and frozen. But I'm here now, you can let me in. You can depend on me because I'm not going anywhere and I will fight with everything I have in me until I am nothing but dust and blood just to have you again because I want you and only you. There's still a road in front of us with pot holes and cracks but I want to take that walk with you Autumn" Kate said, her small voice cracking through her sentences

"Ugh God you're gonna kill me" An already sobbing Autumn chuckled softly

Kate's thumb ran across the girl's cheek, wiping away the salty release. Their foreheads slowly leaned and touched together, not being able to contain their holds away from each other

Kate finally allowed her strangling feeling in her throat to be relaxed as the lines of water filled the rim of her eyes and overflowed down her cheek

"You're everything I've wanted and you're everything I need. God I remember when you annoyed my fucking soul-"

"Ouch!"

"Shut up I wasn't done" Autumn chuckled

"You may continue" the brunette giggled

"-But then I was introduced to this girl that had such a big heart. You saw the best in people and tried to help them at their worse. You're just so different Kate, it's rare to find someone like you and when we do, we hold on forever"

"Are you saying if there was another bitch like me you'd want her instead!?"

"Wha- I-"

"OH MY GOD AUTUMN" Kate dramatically gasped with a hidden smile

"ugh God. Women" Autumn rolled her eyes

"Shhh, kiss me" Kate giggled

Autumn chuckled softly before hooking her fingers under the girl's chin, tilting her head up and placing her soft lips on her own

The cold wind that blew couldn't fight the warm feeling in their hearts. The lights around them was nothing compared to the spark they felt inside. The smile on their lips during their kiss could not compete to the happiness bubbling internally

But there was one thing they knew for sure, their story was only beginning

Reading this chapter and listening to Eden's voice after so many years reminded me of a feeling I had years ago for someone else. But in the middle of reading, I realized my past needed to be in the past because for once in my life, I'm actually happy. Happy with someone else.

And God knows I'm scared. But I'm going to give my all into this girl and I'm not taking any steps back

So thank you Eden, for reminding me I am allowed to love again
