Narrator's pov

In the serenade of the black, the stars were a choir, they were lights that sung in infinite patterns. Sometimes eyes needed music, and the darker the night the sweeter the song

Amid the wintry air, beneath the noble starry-black, the two girls observed the beauty of the moon. She graced Earth's sky to glow equally for all, a picture in light as if created by love

Or the tension between the two girls that kept glancing at each other and giggling with rosy cheeks

The glow of the grey howl moon made its presence inside the car. Autumn's hands gripped the steering wheel and her chuckle filled the car

"You did not just say that!" Kate laughed

"It's true, she seems all cute in public but she's the freakiest person you'll ever meet" Autumn smiled

"I refuse to believe that" Kate glared

"Maybe I'll introduce you to her and you'll find out for yourself" Autumn said as she glanced over to the girl

For those few seconds, Kate felt a small part of her heart swell. A burning sensation reached her cheek as she looked away, trying to distract herself by glancing out the window

But that small swelling in her chest grew bigger when a warm touch invaded her senses

Autumn's fingers intertwined with the girl's before she brought them to her lips, giving them a small and tender kiss

Kate's heart dropped in her chest as she felt a rush of her emotions take over her, that burn of her cheek only increased its dosage

"You okay over there Wilson?" Autumn chuckled, glancing over to the girl

"Y-yes. I'm fine" Kate muttered before biting down on her bottom lip, containing her burning blush

"God you're so cute" Autumn chuckled

A slow drive through what seemed to be a narrow path in the woods, but Kate wasn't scared. In all honesty, she was more curious to know what awaited her on their journey

But she did underestimat the utter blackness of night time in the woods. In her mind the trees would be black trunks against a bluish charcoal sky, the path would become deepest brown and the moonlight would bleach the stones within it

The moon stayed strong in the sky, its silvery rays penetrated the dense canopy above

Kate had always  found the darkness strange. She didn't live in the heart of a city but she didn't live where was dim either. She had grown used to having the warming, orange glow of streetlamps outside her window, their light filtering in through the gaps in the curtains. This was a blackness that she couldn't recall seeing before - one that was almost absolute

Warm fingers stayed intertwined with hers as they rested on her thighs, Autumn leaned back into her seat while her feet pressed a little slower on the gas pedal

Kate then tilted her head skyward, she could see clearly millions of bright stars dotted on the black canvas of night, a sight to perfect to fit the warm feeling she had bubbling inside her

The car came to a halt but before she could even glance over to her date, the warm fingers left her own and a familiar head was zooming across to her side

Soft warm lips crashed down on her own and Kate felt herself melt in her booths like ice cream in a heat wave

Her eyes fluttered closed as an electric feeling carried its way down her body and reach her fingertips

Her hand reached out to cup the girl's chin and pull her closer, feeling her lips capture hers between her lips

A kiss to make your head spin, the kind that was so soft and passionate yet so silent at the same time

Kate inhaled a sharp breath when those warm lips left her own. Her eyes dared not to open to face the mixture of dark and light blue that she knew was already staring at her every facial features

"I'm sorry, I just- I can't stop thinking about your lips. I just want to kiss them all fucking day and it's driving me crazy" Autumn groaned yet her voice sounded so soft

Kate felt her heart speed up again in her chest as her eyes finally opened to fall on those lightening blue orbs and wet pink lips there were just an inch away from her own

It seemed as if she was in a trance, lost in everything Autumn. The actress spoke yet Kate heard nothing, her ear went silent and her attention stayed blurry, only focusing on those pink lips before her that always controlled her body

"I'm sorry I'll st-"

"Shh" Kate hushed before gripping Autumn's T shirt, pulling her back into their kiss

Kate's lips captured Autumn's bottom ones between her own, feeling the soft touch light a fire inside her that burned in seconds

Kate's lips on Autumn's claimed her as her own, such a soft and delicate touch between the two that made every moment special

One touch and the intoxication was instant, her scent always left Kate in a heady trance, one that doesn't end until their bodies become one

Autumn felt her heart do flips at the sudden moment, her fingers hooked under the girl's chin as she tilted her head to the side, deepening their kiss

Their lips together seemed so perfect, Kate felt her shoulders sink and her body loosen as the feeling consumed them both, almost as if she could let herself be peaceful with Autumn every single time

But they had to keep in mind of where they were. Self control may not always be there but Kate learned a thing or two over the past two months

She slowly pulled away, her eyes still locked onto familiar blue ones that were filled with something she had never seen before yet it matched the exact expression in her own eyes

"I missed kissing you" Kate whispered above the girl's lips, leaving a smile

"Ugh God what are you doing to me Kate Wilson" Autumn chuckled softly

"I'm not doing anything, what are you talking about?" Kate giggled

"Dumbass"

"Hey, you like this dumbass" Kate stated

"Yes. Yes I do" Autumn smiled before placing a soft peck on the girl's lips

Kate's smile reached her ear as she sunk into her seat with a racing heart and flustered cheeks

Autumn dipped from the embrace and unlocked her door, making her way around the car until she reached Kate's side. The girl unlocked the door and met Kate's smile

"What are you doing?" The brunette chuckled

"I don't know" Autumn said before she dipped her head into the vehicle, hooking her arms under Kate's legs

"WHAT! AUTUMN WHAT TH-"

"Shhh, stop fighting" The raven hair girl chuckled as she hooked her arms around Kate's back

"Autumn Hester, PUT ME DOWN"

"Shut up" Autumn said as she pulled the girl from the car

Kate squealed before tossing her arms around Autumn's neck as the girl held her bridal style in her arms, using her foot to kick the door close

"Autumn I swear if you drop me in the middle of the woods!"

"Kate"

"what!"

"You're cute" Autumn smiled inches away from the girl's lips, leaving her silent

"Wha-"

"You're really fucking cute when you scream" Autumn snickered

Kate's bright blush dropped from a smile into a look of disgust before she started to squirm in the girl's arms once again

"Stop moving!" Autumn chuckled as she started to walk

"No!"

"Stop or I swear to God I'll take you on this car hood right now" Autumn said in a low voice

Kate's loud voice immediately went silent once again, not daring to even breathe too hard

"Good girl"
