Autumn's fingers cupped the girl's cheek, her thumb them stroked Kate's soft and plump bottom lip as her eyes pierced through the brown orbs after placing a small peck on her cheeks

"You don't have to say anything, I just wanted you to know" She whispered

"Y-You don't have to apologize" Kate stated

"I do. I was a shitty person and maybe I still am. But I'm trying Kate. And that's all because of you. I didn't have a reason to try but.. But you just.. You make me want to do so many things that's out of this world" Autumn chuckled, shaking her head in disbelief

Kate's stomach was fluttered rapidly from the soring butterflies that refused to stop. Somewhere inside there, she had hope. She had some hope that what Autumn was saying would lead to something she's been dying to hear

Just the mere thought of Autumn even admitting she has some sort of feelings for her was driving Kate insane

"All I think about is kissing you Kate and Its driving me crazy" Autumn whispered, sending Kate's heart rate higher

"You're always on my mind, you never leave. Sometimes I want to claw my hair out because of it because I refuse to fucking feel it" Autumn hissed

With Kate's trembling lips and her body already on the edge of exploding from her swindling emotions, she finally took some courage to speak for herself

"Wh-What don't you want to feel?" Kate asked as her brows met in the center

"I-" Autumn whispered before sinking her teeth down into her bottom lip
"Don't worry about it"

"Oh for fuck sakes Autumn" Kate groaned as she pushed herself up from the girl's chest

"What?" she asked

"You know what" Kate muttered as she peeled her body off of Autumn

"I.. I'm not sure what you're saying"

"Exactly. You're not saying anything. You need to tell me what's going on in your head Autumn. I won't judge, I won't run. I promise. Just, be honest with me. That's all I ask" Kate mumbled

"You want me to be honest?" Autumn asked

"Yes"

"Well I'm on the edge of literally tossing this deal out the window right now and kissing you" Autumn said sternly, knocking the air out of Kate's lungs

"Wha-What" Kate stuttered, the raven hair girl tilted her head back in laughter

"You're so cute, I swear" Autumn giggled

"Shut up, you don't kiss your friends!" Kate pouted

It was then did Autumn's face fall again, her melted eyes turned to frost in seconds and her muscles clenched

"Oh" the girl whispered

"Wait. No that came out wrong" Kate mentally slapped herself
"I.. I don't know what we are"

That ice melting smile appeared back on Autumn's lips before a soft chuckle left her throat

"Don't laugh at this!" Kate pouted

"I have to"

"Dumbass"

"Blind bitch" Autumn giggled

"I'm serious Autumn" Kate whispered, rising to face the girl

"You really wanna have that conversation here? Right now?" Autumn questioned

"Yes"

"Reall-"

"Y'all realized you've been in there for thirty minutes right?" Ethan's muffled voice passed through the car

Kate rolled her eyes before reaching over and rolling down the windows, only to see her friends and the small girl standing there with a mischievous smile

"What's your problem"

"I want Doritos and beer, hurry up" Ethan said as she popped the door open

"Idiots, all of you" Kate groaned before giving the boy her hand so he could help her up

"Love you more" Jamie chuckled

Autumn furrowed her brows as she fumbled her way out of the car, her eyes immediately landing on the wide, one flat building with a bold red supermarket logo written across it

"This is a supermarket?"

"Grocery store, supermarket, whatever you want to call it" Ethan said

Jamie grabbed a cart from the parking lot and made her way over towards the group, the metal sound of the wheels clashing together with the concrete ground echoed through the lot

"What the hell is that!" Autumn hissed when her eyes landed on the metal box approaching her

"A shopping cart? Damn girl, where you been?" Jamie chuckled

"In yatchs and jets, duh" Ethan snickered

"I'm.. I'm not gonna lie, that's true" Autumn chuckled softly

"Damn. I wanna be like you when I grow up" Jamie giggled

"Oh believe me, you don't" Autumn mumbled

The gays and Lisa made their way towards the doors, Autumn scared at them with curiosity when they parted and the cold AC brushed against her skin. The smell of fresh lime floors filled her nostrils, from the newly mopped tiles. Random beeps echoed through the building from the scanner, a few customers bustled around. Autumn's eyes landed on what seemed like a hundred shelves stacked from wall to wall and dividing the entire room. Each shelf holding whatever category or items it needed. Autumn's eyes lit up in amazment, twinkling under the bright white lights of the ceiling.

"Holy shit" Autumn muttered

"Damn, it really is her first time seeing a supermarket" Ethan chuckled

"It's literally heaven in here. Everything's so white. What the-"

"Cough racist cough" Jamie coughed

"Shut up" Autumn glared

"Oh my God I want cereal!" Lisa squealed

"Get anything you want, I'll pay" Autumn said as she nudged the small girl's shoulder

"Really!?" Lisa gasped

"Yeah, really" Autumn smiled sweetly

"Oh my God. I'M GETTING ALL THE CEREAL" Lisa squealed before her energy kicked in and she dashed towards the isles

Autumn chuckled softly as she spun on her heels, coming face to face with the three teenagers that stood at the entrance with a sinister smile on their faces. Autumn raised a brow at the teens

"What?" she asked

"Oh noooothinngg" Kate giggled

The raven hair girl crossed her arm against her chest and raised her brow higher, curious to know why the teenagers held smirks and tried hard to contain a laugh

"Hmm, okay then" Autumn said before spinning around on her heels

"GET HERRR" Ethan's voice rang through the supermarket

"What the- JAMIE" Autumn yelled when her heels collided with metal, knocking her off her feet and pushing her backwards

Autumn then fell ass first into the metal shopping cart. Her eyes bulged out of their sockets when her back collided with the handle. Jamie and Ethan's laughter filled her ear as the cart was pushed forward, moving fast between the few customers that jumped out of the way

"KATE" Autumn screamed

The raven hair girl snapped her neck around to see her Co star running behind with another cart and a giggling Lisa sitting inside with a bunch of cereal boxes from chocolate to marshmallows

On one hand it was adorable but on the next, It was basically a race in a supermarket and Autumn wasn't ready to crash into an entire shelf

"Oh father" Autumn rolled her eyes

The girl was then attacked by falling obstacles coming her way. Jamie's hand reached out to the Shelf and pushed each item into the cart as she ran. Autumn squealed as the bags of chips landed on her stomach.

"JAMIE" Autumn screeched

"Yes daddy?" the dark skinned girl smirked, making Autumn's eyes go wide

"Hey! Only Kate's allowed to call her that" Ethan warned, still running with Autumn in the cart

"Yeah yeah shut u- WATCH OUT" Jamie yelled

"SHIT" Ethan hissed as his knuckles gripped the cart handle

The boy barley swerved out of the way, almost hitting the employee standing with a few cans in his hands, stacking it high into a pyramid as tall as the ceiling

But the little distraction started the man and his knees buckles, causing him to lounge forward and his hands brushed against the tall pyramid of cans and causing them all to fall one by one. His jaw fell and the excitement faded from his eyes as he watched his accomplishment fell to his toes

"OH MY GOD" Autumn screamed

"RUN"
