Kristen furrowed her brows at the woman

"Excuse me?" she asked

"You're taking time away from me and my granddaughter. Now scoot scoot, the love of her life finally arrived" Pearl smiled as she motioned for the woman to walk away

Kristen raised her brow but slowly walked away, confused as to what was happening. Autumn covered her mouth as a snicker left her lips

"And I thought I was mean" Autumn chuckled

Kate felt a rise in her stomach from the small sound of the raven hair girl's chuckle. Her head hung low as a tiny smile made its way onto her lips

"Oh don't worry about her, her mother and I are best friends. I'll apologize later" Pearl smiled

"Did you really just call yourself my grandma?" Autumn asked

"Well, it feels like it sometimes"

"My maid would hurt you"

"Tell her bring it, I may be old but that doesn't mean I can't throw hands" Pearl said

"Oh my god" Autumn giggled

The tiny sound of Autumn now giggling made a deep feeling settle in Kate's stomach, the brunette bit her lip as her toes curled to control the feeling

"You've been in this room and didn't even come say hi? I'm hurt" Pearl pouted

Autumn smiled as she stepped forward, wrapping her arms around the elderly woman in a tight hug, she giggled and placed a kiss on the top of Pearl's head. Kate furrows her brows and looked between the two, confused as to how Autumn seemed so comfortable with the woman

"I had to talk to her about something important, you know that" Autumn chuckled

"You teenagers and your deals, I can't handle it" Pearl rolled her eyes

"I have ten thousand down says Cara and Ashley Benson's breakup is a hoax" Autumn said

"Leave the people's relationship alone Autumn, and focus on your own" Pearl said

"I don't have a relationship to focus on" Autumn smiled

"Yeah? Well now you do. Peace out" Pearl said as she shoved Kate directly into Autumn's arms, causing the two girls to stumble forward

Pearl snickered as her small feet carried her away, running away from the scene of the crime

Autumn groaned as she stabled herself, noticing that Kate was still pressed into her arm

Kate quickly removed herself from Autumn's embrace the second she realized she was still pressed against Autumn's chest, clearing her throat as they stood a few feet apart

"So.. How do you know Pearl?" Kate asked

"We go way back, she was actually the first person I met when I was younger auditioning for a role" Autumn said as she brought her glass to her lips

"That's weird, I actually met her the same way" Kate chuckled

"She's a legend, one of the sweetest people I know"

"Is it weird that I don't know her? Like, I've never heard of her movies"

"Be careful how you say that, people could hear you" Autumn smiled as she nodded behind the girl

Kate furrowed her brows and glanced behind her, only to receive a few stares of disgust from people who obviously overheard the conversation

"Mind your fucking business" Autumn hissed at Taylor Lautner

"Oh my God, Autumn!" Kate gasped

"What? He's nosy as shit" she shrugged

"So? That's Taylor Lautner, he's legendary" Kate said

"He's a person. We're all people, we just have more exposure to the population and they seem to like us. That's what makes us 'famous' but we shouldn't be worshiped. Because just like everyone else, we have sides of ourselves that are dark and can never be shown. So don't think anyone in here is innocent, don't get wrapped around in the person you see on TV because the person they are in real life is vicious and you'll get yourself hurt when you realize it" Autumn said as she sipped the champagne

Kate bit her lip nervously as she glanced back to the man, she mumbled a soft sorry as she watched him walk away.

It was true, as fans we fail to realize that the people we admire are actors for a reason.

We don't know them, we may know fragments of their life online but we can never truly know them.

"You know, I feel out of place here" Kate said

"How come" Autumn mumbled, taking a step closer to the brunette so their shoulders brushed against each other

Their eyes only glancing out to the guests that smiled that chuckled with each other, only Autumn knew of the fakeness in their smiles and the rolling of their eyes when they turned away from each other

"Because I'm in a room full of celebrities and I haven't talked to anyone of them" Kate said

"Don't feel too bad, if your name doesn't have at least four stars to it then they wouldn't talk back" Autumn said

"How true are these stories of yours?" Kate glared

"If you want to try then sure, go embarrass yourself. Don't say I didn't warn you" Autumn shrugged

"Maybe I'll go talk to Adam Sandler, he'll hook me up with a contract and a new movie" Kate smiled, Autumn raised a brow as she glanced to the girl

"You can't do that" Autumn said

"What? Why not?"

"Because that's cheating" Autumn smiled

"Huh?" Kate asked

"Our deal remember? I'm supposed to be the one to hook you up with everything if I lose. Which I doubt I will. So it would be cheating if you went out there and got help from someone else. Besides, it's just a month. So you're not allowed to talk to anyone in this room, You can hold yourself back for a month, can't you Kate?" Autumn smirked

Kate's nose scrunched up, not in disgust but because of the anger flowing through her veins. Her brows switched together as as she felt the heat travel to her face

"What the- THAT'S NOT FAIR"

"Whoever said life's fair sweetheart?" Autumn chuckled

"Wha- OKAY NO. that's so ridiculous" Kate spat, folding her arms

"It makes sense, so I don't think it's ridiculous" Autumn giggled as she turned to face the girl

Kate huffed as she stared at the girl with narrowed eyes, it was ridiculous and unfair in her opinion. She couldn't associate herself with her favourite actresses all because of a stupid deal, but she wasn't going to back out of it now. She had way too much pride to give up suddenly, she had a point to prove and her brain had clicked

"Then you can't kiss me either" Kate said, Autumn almost choke on her champagne as she coughed loudly, taking the attention on her

"What?" she asked

"You heard me, if you think you're sooo irresistible that I can't kiss you then you can't kiss me either" Kate smirked

"That's ridiculous" Autumn hissed

"Are you saying you can't go a whole month without resisting these lips?" Kate smirked, Autumn gave the girl a glare

But then her eyes lightening up when she realized something, a small twitch in her lips coiled them into a smirk. Kate's eyes widened at the girl

"What is going through that evil little head of yours Autumn" Kate glared

"Oh don't worry about it. And sure, I'll take the deal" Autumn smirked

Kaye furrowed her brows at the girl, confused as to why she had suddenly changed her mind in such a flash. She knew the girl was up to something but she just couldn't put her fingers on it

Autumn stretched her hands out as she awaited Kate to shake them, the brunette sighed and and placed her hands between Autumn's own. Only to be pulled forward and their chests pressing against each other, Autumn chuckled as she brought her lips to the girl's ear

"You know I'm not going to make this easy right?" Autumn questioned, her hot breath brushing against Kate's ear caused the girl's heart to face in her chest, pounding like a sledgehammer against a wall

But she was an actress, and it was time to pull out her best work. She needed to act like she didn't want to kiss those soft pink lips of Autumn's that she had been thinking of all day.

Kate obviously knew the girl's smile was driving her crazy, and when she laughed it would make her heart flutter in her chest. So it was obvious that she craved to kiss the girl's lips, no matter of ignorant or annoying she might be. She still wanted to taste them again.

But a deal was a deal and she had no intentions on losing.

"I won't take it easy on you either" Kate whispered, feeling her cheek slide against Autumn's sending a tingle in her stomach
