"Oh fuck me" I muttered under my breath

"Just ask her kindly, I'm sure she'll say yes" Jamie snickered, my nose immediately scrunched up in disgust

"ew" I said

"Oh come on, don't deny that the girl isn't hot" Jamie smirked and folded her arms against her chest, nodded in the direction of the actress that had just walked in

My eyes slowly drifted to the tall raven hair girl that had just entered the door, the small ding dinged again as it closed.

I can't lie, she surely was attractive. Her raven black hair fell so perfectly over her chest, it reminded me of a crow's feather. So darkly saturated and soft. Her piercing blue eyes made her pop even more, those eyes seemed cold at times but one stare could make you lose your breath.

She had those perfect teeth followed by that perfect smile. For some reason, the hair on my body would start to rise when I thought about the girl, I'd find myself lost in that smile sometimes, especially her side smile, that one made her weak. But I avoided those pink lips. Those were the only thing that made me extremely weak. Some people found personalities attractive, others find eyes attractive but for me, it was those perfectly plump pink lips. They looked so soft, so sensitive. I wondered what they tasted like, were they just as soft as they looked?

I shook my head to snap back to reality, something was definitely wrong in my head for me to be thinking about Autumn like that, especially when all I want to do it rip that head of hers off her body

Gasps were heard throughout the entire diner, phones immediately tossed into the air, holding high to record the actress that was taking off her coat. The excitement of seeing their favourite actress filled their adrenaline as they dashed out their seats and ran towards the girl.

Autumn didn't blink twice at the running crowd, she simply sighed and folded her arm. I furrowed my brows at her, wasn't she afraid of being trampled?

But my confusion was placed to rest when a tall man wearing a full black suit walked out from behind the actress, his jawline was chiseled but that was nothing compared to his broad chest. He was clearly muscular though that tight black suit, the man's intimidating eyes locked onto the crowd that seized in front of him

I guess it was her body guard, the man simply folded his arms across his chest and stared at the customers that fell silent upon looking at him. He had such an intimidating demeanour to him, it made you want to hand over your car, your wallet and your leg to him kindly.

"I suggest you all go back to your seats, Ms Hester isn't in the mood for this" the man said in a low voice

The disappointed fans frowned upon his announced and slowly made their way back to their respected seats. Thankfully it was just a few customers because it would have been hectic to deal with a mob

But that didn't stop them from filming or taking a few stolen pictures of the girl. I couldn't help but wonder why she didn't atleast take one photo with a fan, I'm sure it would have made their day. But then again, maybe she was tired less really hungry. Who knows what kind of day she's had to want to avoid her fans. But still, I couldn't help but feel weird at the thought

"Damn, not even one photo" Ethan mumbled

"It's harsh, which is exactly why I'm gonna sit this one out" Jamie said

I furrowed my brows but my eyes were still locked onto Autumn's movements. The girl ran a hand through her hair and flipped it over to the other side, it created a small wave and I couldn't help but smile. It looked different from how I'd usually see her. The girl's hair landed on one side of her face, barely covering her eyes as a few strands fell along her chin

Yet she didn't notice me standing there yet, I wouldn't blame her though. I looked like a mess, I'd been slaving myself out all day, my heels were killing me, my hair was a mess and I was sweating like a Karen being confronted by a confident gay male.

"Wait, what do you mean?" I came back to reality again and turned to face her

"I mean, my shift is over and Maggie hasn't clocked in yet so that leaves you alone" Jamie smirked as her hand reached behind her back to undo her apron

My eyes immediately went wide as panic shot through my veins, there was no way I'm the only one on duty. I couldn't handle everyone here by myself? Right?

"Relax, I'll cash out eveyone since they all already ordered. But that means you have to deal with the new customers" Jamie said

"Oh no.. That means-" I mumbled

"Yep, lover girl over there is all yours" Jamie snickered as she pointed towards Autumn who headed over to a booth next to the window, it was the same booth I met May in

"Ugh God,... Sarah, whoever you are. Please save me" I groaned

"Oh hush the fuck up" I groaned to myself

"Go on, your customer is waiting" Ethan smirked, I glared at the curly hair boy that munched on some fries on his stool

"Don't test me" I glared

"Ew tests, don't even remind me of my traumatic highschool days" The boy pouted

"Run along dear, your girlfriend is waiting" Jamie wiggled her eyesbrows

"Ew" I scrunched my nose up in disgust once again

My eyes landed on the raven hair girl once again, she seemed so bored by herself. Her cheeks seemed more hallow than usual, she leaned her head again the window which allowed the neon red light to brush against her toned face

I sighed and took a menu within my hand, making sure to make a cross motion over my chest to pray to the lord

"I'm going in" I said

"Goodluck" Ethan smiled

"If I die, tell my story" Were the last words I mumbled out before finding my way around the bar and headed directly towards the actress

With each step, my heart rate increased. I don't know why nor did I care. I just wanted to get this over with as quickly as possible without her even noticing

"Welcome to Lia's diner, I'll be serving you tonight" I gave the fakest smile I possibly could as I handed the girl the menu

Her brows furrowed but her eyes were still on the scenery outside, her attention just on the glass window as she exhaled deeply

Something seemed to be on her mind, I couldn't help but wonder what troubled her, maybe things just weren't going her way today. We've all had days like that

"Should I come back in a few minutes?" I asked

This time she actually glanced at me, her furrowed brows relaxed when she noticed it was me standing there but those soft eyes then turned into amusement when they trailed over my body. I could physically feel my cheek starting to burn from her icy blue eyes

"Karen?" she asked, I raised a brow at her

"What?"

"Katie?" she asked again. It was only then did I realize she was trying to remember my nam-

REMEMBER MY NAME!? We work together for fuck sakes

"It's Kate" I said sternly

"Oh right right, Kate" She smirked, showing those perfectly white teeth, a weird feeling pierced through my heart at her slight smile

"I literally have on a name tag" I mumbled

"I know, but my eyes were too busy looking at this hideous outfit you have on" She snickered

I took in a sharp breath to contain any slight twitch of anger that wanted to fill my veins

"What are you doing here?" she asked

"I work here" I mumbled, her brow raised in amusement

"Do you really?" she asked

"Listen. Are you gonna order or are you just gonna continue to judge my job?" I crossed my arm against my chest

Autumn stayed silent but her eyes trailed over my body once again, just having her eyes all over me felt weird. At one point I wanted to stab at them with a fork but at another, it made me feel hot in some way

"In all my days, I've never met someone speak to me like you do. It's highly annoying but it intrigues me at the same time. You intrigue me Ms Wilson" Autumn smirked as her fingertips flipped through the pages of the menu

I furrowed my brows at her once again, what did that even mean? I intrigued her?

But what left me even more confused was the fact that she couldn't recall my first name a few seconds ago but she had just called me by my last name. I've never told her my last name.

"Although your uniform is hurting my eyes, I'd really like to piss you off some more tonight. I know you're closing this diner in ten minutes since everyone leaving and the time says so. But you're so cute when you're mad and frankly, I don't like your attitude" the girl smirked

Oh no-

"So I'll have one of everything" Autumn said

The fake smile that pasted onto my cheek fell into the blankest stare I could ever imagine. It felt as if all of the muscles in my body failed me all together as I stared at the girl dumbfounded. She simple smiled and closed the menu

"What the heck Autumn" I groaned

"Is that how you speak to a paying customer?" the girl smirked

"No, that's how I speak to a jackass" I muttered under my breath

"What was that?" she asked

"Nothing" I mumbled and took the menu between my fingertips

"It better be nothing" Autumn scoffed, my jaw tightened as I closed my eyes tightly, feeling that heat of anger wash over me

"Watch the way you talk to me Autumn because I'm not one of your dolls that take whatever shit you give them, you don't owe me anything and you don't pay my bills so stop acting like you own me" I gritted between my teeth

Autumn furrowed her brows, clearly taken back by my words. The shock was clearly written across her face but she quickly recovered and stood to her feet

I swallowed a lump in my throat at the raven hair girl towered over my life a building, it was only in that moment did I remember how much taller than me she actually was and those blue eyes were deadlier than her arms

But instead of speaking, her eyes just trailed over my body once again, almost as if she was taking in every inch of my skin into her brain to remember. I still felt that burn of my cheek feeling her eyes on me

"You're mighty brave" She said

"If that's what you call not taking shit from stuck up celebrities like yourself then yeah, I'm brave" I said with some random ounce of confidence in me, which was a big mistake since Autumn's curious eyes almost flickered red with anger

"WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU JUST CALL ME!?" Aumtum hissed

"i-" dammit, I really should have kept my mouth shut

"Do you honestly think I'm going to stand her and let you disrespect me like that!?" she hissed again, this time I frowned at her

Did she really just say I'm the one disrespecting her?

"oh I'm being disrespectful? Have you looked in the mirror lately!?" I hissed

"Oh I have, and she's gorgeous" Autumn smirked

"Oh wow, a real narcissist" I scoffed

"Shut up" she spat

"No, you shut up. You always have some bullshit to say to me and most of the times it's for no damn reason at all. It's like you don't have a nice bone in your body and all you want to do is bring me down or piss me off for no fucking reason and I'm tired of it. You fight with me and all of it is pointless Autumn, do you ever realize that!?" I spat, the girl raised a brow

"You really think I do it for no reason?" she asked

"I literally don't care why you do it. But I'm telling you to shut the hell up if you can't say anything nice to me. If you're trying to make me quit the movie then you've got something else coming because there's no way I'm letting that slip through my fingers, especially over a crazy ass bitch like you. Now leave me alone, don't talk to me if it isn't about the set. Matter of fact, don't even look at me. Just stay fucking quiet and leave. Me. Alone. Capish!?" I spat with some weird confidence within me

But unfortunately for me, that confidence went right out the window when a fist came flying my way
