Another quite short chapter, sorry about that- I mean I've been writing some random fic and it has 5 chapters already and I know what I want to do for the sixth one so yea, after this mistake finishes I'll probably won't upload it because I don't know how long it'll be or where do I want to go with it, it'll be MuiTan of course, GenMui at start until some angsty thing happens~ not gonna spoil more~

Muichiro's pov - 4 days later

It was the end of the trip. I felt terrible. Yesterday I spent the whole day in our room, sleeping.

It was clear that I was getting sick. I was really dizzy, sweating and shivering at the same time, sneezing and coughing every minute.

I packed my things in my bag and sat down on the bed, already feeling weak again. Tanjiro sat down next to me and touched my forehead and cheeks.

"You are burning up, thank god we are going home today" he said and I leaned on him, closing my eyes, exhausted.
Mitsuri walked into the room and grabbed her bag "Teachers are already waiting outside, we should go," she said.
I nodded and stood up, grabbing my bag and Tanjiro did the same.

Once we got to our town, we all got out of the bus  and I went towards Yuichiro waiting for him to say goodbye to Giyuu.
"Hey I'll stay at Giyuu's place until yesterday, is that fine with you?" He asked me and I nodded, just wanting to go home and sleep.

Yuichiro then grabbed Giyuu's hand and left together with him. I sighed and rubbed my eyes before heading home.
Suddenly I feel someone grab my amr. "H-Huh? Oh Tanjiro, do you need something?" I asked. Tanjiro shook his head "just that you are sick and Yuichiro won't be there, I was wondering if you want me to come over"

I quickly shook my head "no no it's okay, I don't want to be a bother"

"Mui how many times do I need to tell you and that you are not a bother, I don't mind" he said, ruffling my hair. I sighed and wrapped my arms around my body "fine.. thanks"

"Are you cold?" He asked and I nodded slightly. He took off his hoodie and handed it to me. I thanked him and put on his hoodie.

It was a lot bigger but it managed to warm me up a bit. I inhaled deeply, the hoodie smelled nice, it smelled just like him. "Let's go now" he said and I nodded.

When we got home I took off my shoes and headed into my bedroom while Tanjiro followed behind me. "When does your uncle usually come home?" Tanjiro asked, sitting down on my bed.

"Around 7pm, sometimes later" I replied, opening my bag and taking my clothes out of it. "He's a hard worker, huh?'' he said.

I nodded "yea he is, he works two jobs just to make sure he can afford everything for me and Yui"

"I see" Tanjiro said as I dropped on the bed next to him. "You okay?" He asked before I nodded "Y-Yeah, just really tired"
"Alright, you can get some rest, I'll look around the house just to see what's where and cook you something, you didn't eat the whole day" Tanjiro said, wrapping a cozy blanket around me.

"Y-you don't need to do that, really it's fine, I'll just get some rest, take some medicine and be fine after" I said.

Tanjiro shook his head and grabbed my cheek playfully. "I already made my decision and there's no way you are changing my mind, understand?"

I nodded in defeat and my head on my pillow, burying myself completely in the blanket and without noticing I fell asleep.

Tanjiro's pov

I sat next to Muichiro, running my fingers through his short hair. It was odd seeing him with short hair but he looked amazing, I still couldn't help but feel so in love with him.

I stood up and walked around the house, looking for some medicine. I eventually found some and placed it on a kitchen counter. I searched around just to get an idea about where all things are and began to make a soup for Muichiro.

Once the soup was finished I poured some into a bowl and headed back to Muichiro's room. When I opened the door I laid the bowl on a nightstand and thought "should I wake him up? Maybe I should so he can take his medicine too"
I lightly shook with Muichiro to wake him up. He slowly opened his eyes and looked at. He hummed quietly "why did you wake me up?" He asked, clearly tired.

"Sorry Mui, I thought it'll be better if you eat something and then take your medicine before you continue sleeping" I said and he nodded.

He slowly sat up. I could see he was struggling to keep himself awake. I laid the bowl on his lap and he thanked me quietly, picking up the spoon.

His hands were shaking a bit, they were weak too. I didn't expect him to struggle so much. I sat down closer to him and grabbed the bowl.

I grabbed the spoon and lifted it up close to Muichiro's lips "y-you don't need to feed me… I-I'll deal with it somehow.." he said quietly.

"I can see how much you struggle to even pick up a spoon, I don't want you to overwhelm yourself, alright?" I said and he nodded "thank you.." he replied.

After that I continued feeding him some soup before he suddenly refused to swallow another spoonful. "Come on, you didn't even eat half," I said and put the spoon closer to his lips.

He sighed and opened his mouth, not so much, it was clear he didn't want to take another spoonful.

Once the soup entered his mouth he didn't swallow, he tried but he couldn't. "Are you okay?" I asked him and he nodded, trying to swallow once more and he did end up swallowing it but burst into coughing.

I patted his back and he coughed once more. "I-I am sorry" he apologized "I-I don't think I can stomach anything more.."

"It's okay, you can finish it later" I said and laid the bowl on the nightstand. He sighed and laid back down on the bed, before he kept back to sleep he took the medicine and fell asleep right after.

…

One or two hours later Muichiro began to wake up, he looked at me and asked "how long have I been asleep?"

"For like two hours"

"Oh I am sorry, I didn't mean to sleep that long haha, you must have been bored"
"No no it's fine, are you feeling better?"
"Mhm, I feel much better, little headache but that'll go away soon enough, thank you for staying here with me, I appreciate it"

He smiled. "It's no problem, I am glad I could spend more time with you, now what do you want to do?"

"Maybe we can watch a movie or something if you want"

"Of course, do you have a laptop anywhere or something?"

"We can go downstairs and watch it on TV"

"Sure" I replied and stood up. We both went downstairs and sat down on the couch. Muichiro turned on the TV and looked for a movie to watch.

"What kind of genre do you want?"

"Mm I am not into romance or comedies.. I like horrors"

"O-Oh sure.. we can watch that, I don't watch horrors often.. more like never so is there anything you would recommend?"

"We can watch "quarantine""

"Hmm.. sure" Muichiro said and turned on the movie.

…

While we watched the movie, it was starting to get into the more exciting part, for Muichiro the scary part I guess.
He held onto me tightly, barely looking at the screen. I slightly laughed, "do you want to watch something else?". He shook his head "N-No it's fine, I am just not really good right horror stuff.." he said quietly, his cheeks turning red from embarrassment.

I stopped the movie and he asked "why did you stop it?" "You are clearly not enjoying the movie, let's watch something else" I said and he crossed his arms "pff, I can handle it"

I slightly laughed making Muichiro look away with his cheeks puffed. "Someone's mad" I said and giggled. "I am not" he said quietly before I grabbed his cheeks and made him look at me.

"You are" I said and he rolled his eyes before I started tickling him. I could see he was trying to keep a straight face but failed and bursted into laughter.

"S-Stop! Haha T-Tanjiro!" He stuttered out between laughs. I soon stopped, realizing in what position we were in. I was on top of Muichiro, with our faces close to each other.

We stared into each other's eyes before pulling our faces even closer to each other and just a second later… our lips touched.

Our tongues connected with saliva as he continued kissing until I slightly pulled away. Muichiro looked away, his face being red as a tomato and so was mine.
"I.. I love you, Muichiro.." I said quietly. He looked at me with a slight smile and answered "I love you too.."

My eyes filled with small tears but I wiped them immediately. "H-Hey, you okay?" Muichiro asked worriedly. "Y-Yeah.. just.. really happy" I said and Muichiro pulled me down into a hug.
"I've been in love with you since the first month I met you… from the first glance I knew you were someone very special.." I sighed.

Muichiro leaned his head against my shoulder and said "I was never in love with anyone… that's why it confused me a lot when I started to feel differently towards you… when you got the date to kiss Kanao, that was the like I actually realized what I felt.."

I hugged him tighter and he did as well. Muichiro sighed and later pulled away from the hug, staring into my eyes. I pulled him into one more kiss and he returned it.

This was the happiest moment of my life. The person I love with all my heart loves me as well.

He pulled away and I asked "Mui.. will you.. be my boyfriend?" Muichiro's eyes lit up as he quickly nodded.

All I was thinking about now was how perfect this moment was and how happy I was. This relationship won't ruin anything… right?
