Tanjiro's pov

I sat in class nervously, waiting for Muichiro to come into the class. Couple days have passed already and Yuichiro told me that Muichiro will finally go to school today.

Suddenly the door to class opened and Muichiro walked in. We both looked at each other and made quick eye contact before Muichiro looked back on the floor.

He sat down next to me and laid his books on the desk without saying anything. I tried to talk to him but he just kept on ignoring me.

I sighed and looked at my phone, accepting the fact that he wouldn't talk to me. Mitsuri turned to look at us and greeted Muichiro who looked at her and waved while forcing a little smile.

I sighed and took out my phone to see a text from Nezuko.

Nezuko : so? Did he talk to you

Tanjiro : no, he just sat down next to me and ignored me.

Nezuko : I see... well it's understandable. But I am sure the plan will work, okay? Yuichiro said that he was miserable without you.

I smiled at the text and looked at Muichiro, being glad that I could finally at least see him again.

Tanjiro : I hope it will.

Nezuko : of course it will and if not we'll come up with another plan. The sleepover is on Friday and Yuichiro said Muichiro agreed to it.

Taniiro : That's great, I hope we'll work it out.

Nezuko : Yeah me too, I am sick of looking at your face. Even our mother asked me what was wrong with you.

Taniiro : shut up

Friday - Muichiro's pov - after school

"Are you ready to go?" Yuichiro asked me, standing in the doorway. I sat down on the bed and looked down "I don't know... I don't really want to go..." I said quietly.

"Hey it'll be fine, Tanjiro will be there an-" he said before I interrupted him with "yeah he's the reason I don't want to go... it's already enough to sit next to him at class..."

Yuichiro sighed and sat down next to me "hey it'll be fine, I'll be there and Nezuko too, Aoi is okay too and Inosuke is... Inosuke and I'll invited someone too"

"Who did you invite?" I asked, still looking on the floor. "Giyuu Tomioka, my boyfriend," he said. "O-Oh I see"

"So are you going? You can always leave if you don't like it there" he said, trying to make eye contact with me. I sighed and nodded slightly before grabbing my bag. Yuichiro smiled slightly and grabbed his bag too before we both headed to Taniiro's house.

Couple minutes later we arrived there and Yuichiro immediately knocked on the door, waiting for someone to answer it. I nervously stood there, not wanting to go there.

Suddenly Nezuko opened the door and greeted us, telling us that we were the last ones to come. We walked into the house and dropped our bags in the hallway before going to the living room where everyone already was.

"Hi Giyuu!" Was the first thing Yuichiro said when he came into the living room. Giyuu smiled slightly and kissed Yuichiro on his lips, greeting him as well.

I looked around the room, looking for a place to sit down. Free spots were only next to Tanjiro on Inosuke, so I sat down next to Inosuke. We all sat down and Nezuko started talking.

Tanjiro's pov

"I have an idea! Let's play seven minutes in heaven!" Nezuko suggested. "Really? Seven minutes in heaven?" Aoi said, clearly annoyed.

Nezuko smiled and turned to look at Inosuke "are you playing?" She asked. Inosuke rolled his eyes and nodded slightly. "You know what, I'll play, I am bored anyways" Aoi suddenly said looking away.

Nezuko pulled Aoi closer and said "why so suddenly? Is it because Inosuke is playing too?" "S-Shut up" Aoi said, covering her face in embarrassment. I laughed slightly and looked at Muichiro who sat on the floor in front of me next to Inosuke.

He sat there with his knees close to his chest while looking on the floor in front of him. "Hey Muichiro, are you playing?" Nezuko asked, Muichiro thought about it for a second before nodding slightly, still looking at the floor.

We all sat down in the circle and grabbed an empty bottle. Nezuko spun the bottle as we all waited for it to land on someone. One side landed on Aoi and the other side on Inosuke.

Aoi looked at the floor and her whole face turned into a dark shade of red. Inosuke stood up and grabbed Aoi's hand and led her to a room while Nezuko followed them.

They walked in the room as Nezuko turned off the light and shut the door behind them. Nezuko then turned to look at us and said "I bet they will kiss"

"You think so? I don't think Inosuke would kiss Aoi" Kanao said, looking at Nezuko with a skeptical look. "Huh?! Hell no, Aoi has been in love with Inosuke for so long! If he doesn't kiss her now do you even know how sad she'll be!" Nezuko said walking closer to Kanao.

As the two fighted I turned to look at Muichiro again. I moved closer to him and tried to make eye contact with him but failed miserably, he kept on looking the other way.

I was about to say something but thunder interrupted me. "Aww man don't tell me it's going to rain" Kanao groaned. "Awww is Kanao afraid of thunder?" Nezuko said provoking Kanao.

"huh?! Pff no! I just hate rain, that's it. Who the hell is actually scared of thunder that's so stupid" Kanao laughed. Nezuko rolled her eyes and slapped Kanao over her head. "Ow! what the fuck Nezuko!" She yelled out.

"Bitch fear of thunder isn't something to be making fun of, I feared thunder when I was a kid and oh god! I used to cry my eyes out" Nezuko said, crossing her arms. Kanao just looked at Nezuko and smiled "weak". "W-What did you say you b-"

As they kept on yelling at each other I saw Muichiro looked away from them before sighing. Before I could do anything, the alarm on Nezuko's phone went off.

"Oh it's already over, let me go get Inosuke and Aoi" Nezuko said and left. Kanao sat down in front of me and asked "So from all these people here, who would you want to be in that room alone with?" She asked, smiling. "I don't know, I guess I don't really care" I said looking away.

"You totally want to be with Tanjiro in the room, am I right?" Giyuu said. Kanao slowly looked at Giyuu and said "yeah and you know what? Nobody asked, so keep your mouth shut and keep kissing your boyfriend, hm?" Clearly annoyed.

"Pff someone's annoyed" Yuichiro said, laughing slightly at the end. Before Kanao could say anything more Nezuko, Aoi and Inosuke came back.

...

Couple games later Nezuko spin the bottle and all I could think about was "please lend on me and Muichiro" I repeated in my head.

"Ah Muichiro and Tanjiro" Nezuko said, smiling. I stood up and walked into the room. Muichiro followed behind me before we both stood next to each other in the room. Nezuko turned the light off and shut the door.

I sat down on the floor and Muichiro did too. I wanted to talk to him... but it was clear he didn't want to talk to me after what happened.

Suddenly the rain outside was getting heavier and thunder got louder. I heard Muichiro let out a quiet groan that made me remember something.

...

"Do you want some popcorn?" I asked Muichiro. "Sure" he said simply while searching for a movie to watch. I walked into the kitchen and waited for the popcorn to be done.

Suddenly the storm outside became louder as the lights suddenly went out. I sighed and turned the flashlight on my phone before walking back to the living room to check on Muichiro.

As I walked into the living room I noticed Muichiro sitting on the couch with his knees to his stomach while he was covering his ears. "Is he scared of thunder?" I thought to myself and sat down next to him.

"Hey, you okay?" I asked him as he immediately jumped into my arms and wrapped his around my neck. "Sorry.." he apologized with a shaky voice.

"Don't apologize, it's normal to be scared of thunder" I pulled him closer and started caressing his back gently. Muichiro buried his face into my shoulder and sobbed quietly.

...

"Are you okay?" I asked Muichiro. I didn't get any answer, so I laid my hand on his and sat down closer to him. Muichiro grabbed my hand too and held it tight.

Before I could do anything else he came closer and laid his head on my shoulder while still holding my hand. "This is my chance, he will listen to me now so I can finally apologize" I thought.

"Muichiro I... I want to apologize for what happened at the party... I didn't mean to say such horrible things to you... I shouldn't have forced you there in a first place.. I am just really sorry...

Muichiro stayed quiet. I sighed and grabbed both of his hands.

"Please Muichiro, give me one more chance! I know, I messed up, I messed up horribly but I promise I'll be better. I won't force you into anything anymore, I should have been more understanding with you. Please just... give me one more chance because.... I can't lose you.."

I said. Muichiro stayed quiet for a while before saying. "...I forgive you..." quietly. I pulled him into a hug and held him tight as I thanked him multiple times.

He pulled away after a while and asked "they say the truth comes out when someone is drunk... so do you.. think these things of me? Like that I am...pathetic and should try harder? Or that I am not being grateful enough?" Muichiro said quietly, letting go of my hand.

"What? Of course not, it's just... I don't know what has gotten into me there, I was never this angry towards anyone when I was drunk... I am just really sorry for saying such things, okay? I don't know what has gotten into me..."

"Okay..." Muichiro said quietly. "About the whole night, did you at least enjoy it somehow?" I asked, trying to get him to talk to me.

"It's hard to say I guess... I don't remember most of it" He said laughing at the end. "What do you mean? I mean I can't remember anything as well because I guess I just drank too much but... you drank too?"

Muichiro nodded "I remember walking into the house and Kanao immediately leading us to the bar to drink, then we played beer pong and then I don't really remember anything until I vomited my guts out... I remember that clearly haha... well after that I just decided to go home and that's where we got into the fight.."

"I see... how did you handle the days after it?" I asked as Muichiro signed "nothing much... I just stayed in bed most of the time..."

"I see... so.. are you good now?" I said, hoping that he would say yes. I heard Muichiro chuckle "yeah..."

I sighed with relief " thank god... you don't even know how desperate I was when we were not by my side for such a long time"

Muichiro laughed slightly and sat closer to me "yeah... I am sorry I didn't let you explain everything.. I should have listened to you but.. I couldn't force myself into it"

"Hey it's fine... let's not talk about it anymore now, okay?" I said and patted his head. He nodded.

10 minutes later - Muichiro's pov

I sat on the couch scrolling on my phone before Yuichiro grabbed my hand and led me away. He led me into a kitchen and asked "you okay? Did Taniiro do anything?"

"No no he didn't, I am fine don't worry... w-we actually talked it out" I said smiling. Yuichiro sighed in relief and smiled slightly "that's good" he said before we heard Giyuu calling for Yuichiro again. "Ugh, I am coming!" Yuichiro yelled out before leaving. I laughed slightly and went back into the living room.

I sat down back on the couch and picked up my phone. "How about we watch a movie or something? I'm getting bored" Inosuke suggested. Everyone agreed and we all sat down and picked a movie to watch.

Tanjiro sat down next to me and put a bowl of popcorn between us. I smiled and thanked him.

As we watched the movie I started to get sleepy. My eyes felt heavy and without noticing I fell asleep.

Tanjiro's pov

As I watched the movie I wanted to interact with Muichiro somehow too, so I reached for his hand and held it but then I noticed he was asleep.

I smiled and pulled him closer, laying his head on my shoulder.

I moved closer and kissed his forehead and whispered.

"Sleep well Mui... I love you"
