Chapter Twenty-Three

Chapter Start!

"Daisy?"

"Matthew?"

Ralph looked at the two looking at each other... 'Matthew' had the same eyes as Daisy, but his hair was fully brown.

Matthew smirked, "Mother and Father Will Be Pleased to know I caught my Dear Rouge sister" he said with a voice only a manipulative jerk would have.

Jaylen struggled to his grip, then he flipped to Hector, who did the same, the two kept flipping, only going faster the longer he was held like that.

"Put them down" Daisy said calmly.

"What? This little kid? Do you actually like them?" He laughed.

Ralph stood there, and looked around, he found Cole sitting with a large board that lied across the boy's lap.

Looking around, it was like a fight occurred.

"Just let them down" Daisy started her way over to her brother.

"What? Going to call your animal friends to help you escape this time? Last time I checked there's only you, that Half elf, this Half Demon, and that!-" he pointed at Cole, "-Stupid Child of Light"

"HEY!" Cole yelled from the back, still trying to get the board off of him.

Matthew laughed to Cole's helplessness.

"Anyway, Daisy!" he started, trying to sound fakely sad.

"Where Have You Been All These Years?" he made Jaylen and Hector sway in his hand.

She narrowed her eyes...

"Yeah now... Father was Really Upset when you left us" He gave her a look, then throw Jaylen and Hector in the air, catching them with Wind magic.

"AH!" they yelled, and Daisy narrowed her eyes, "Put. Them. Down" she said angry now, her normal happy go lucky act had melted off, and she stood ready for a fight.

"What?" He smirked, "This silly little thing" he swirled the boys in the air.

He pulled a sword out, and started to twirl it in his other hand.

"Yeah Know Daisy" he looked at the clean perfect blade.

"People should be more respectable to their superiors..." he looked up at her...

Then stopped "Where did that stupid Knight go?" he spat, and looked around, he found Ralph trying to help Cole get out from under the log.

"Hey!" He yelled to the two, and they looked up, like dear in head lights.

"What are you doing!?" He spat, and Daisy started to sprint at him, Matthew turned to see her in time as she jumped over him, and grabbing Jaylen and Hector.

She landed on her feet, and the boys held onto her, Ralph pulled the Log off of Cole, and then grabbed his bag.

"HEY! Listen To Me When I'm Talking To You!" Matthew screamed, Daisy gave him a look, "How About You Listen To Your Own Advice! Stop Being A Looser Little Brother!" Daisy ran off, With Jaylen and Hector in her arms and Ralph dragged Cole.

But the teen stopped, then turned.

"Hey Jerk!" Cole yelled, forming a ball of light in his hands, he looked up, his eyes glowing gold, he throw the ball of light at Matthew, it went off like a flash grenade.

"Get That Stick Out Of Your Butt!"

And ran off...

"Ya know... We should get out of here soon..." Gil blinked... Well, tried to blink, he had two black eyes, and by then he knew, Silvia was going to kill him.

"Yeah, that would be for the best" Rita nodded, "Should we... go back to Daisy's?" she looked at Gil, then Stan...

"Yeah, That could work, meet back up with Silvia and Ralph... were should we go from there?" Gil shrugged.

"Well I want to bring Stan back to the Oasis, so the people can get a new leader, and put his butt in Jail!" she turned hard and yelled at her brother.

"I said I was sorry..." he muttered.

"Stan! People Died! Cole Could Be Died! We Don't Know What Happened To Him!" Rita acted flustered, but took a breath.

"Yes, we should go"

"Go where?"

The three looked up fast, "Who is it..?" Gil asked; it was hard to see through two black eyes.

Rita Blinked at the "Stranger"

But sighed annoyed, it was infect, the Prince.

"Hello Prince Ryan, Long time no see" Rita rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, Hi Rita, Anyway, I... Overheard you guys planning to... Leave..." Ryan flipped his long flowing red hair.

Gil looked around...

"So I've come to... Help you, In Exchange for... an adventure!" He smiled, "I've known you travel a lot, and I want to come too! Don't worry, I left a note saying I'll be back soon" the Prince smiled.

Rita blow some hair out of her face...

Then shrugged; "Why not, let's get out of here"

Ryan helped everyone get down, and guided them down the halls to were the back entrance was.

When they made it there, they saw a bright flash of light, then figure running away.

"Let's Follow Them!" Rita yelled, and the four started running.

They followed through the opening, it opened up to an outside area, when the light hit their faces, they noticed who they were following.

"Cole!?" Gil yelled, the four up in front of them stopped, and the blond turned.

"Gil!?" Cole yelled back.

The two ran to each other, "Dude! What Happened!?" Cole looked his friend up and down, the two black eyes were puffy.

"A jerk I will have to... Thank... Later..." Gil gave them a look of evil, and cracked his knuckles.

"Later!" Ralph yelled at them, and everyone started to run once more...

Dogs could be heard from behind as rain clouds started to form overhead.

Cole looked behind, seeing the figures running after them. The elves were much faster than the group, so Cole formed a small ball of light.

Gils eyes shot towards him "Cole! Stop They'll see us!" He spat at his younger friend.

"No, no no! I got this!" Cole basically yelled back, throwing one ball left, then another right, the men followed, leaving the group to keep running away.

After some hiding, and more fake out balls of light, they made it back safely to Daisy's house.

It had rained hard on them, and everyone was dripping wet.

"What happened!?" Silvia yelled when they group came running in. She ran over to Gil, who was looking at Cole, who looked pale from all the use of the light balls.

Silvia put her hands on Gil's puffy cheeks, and turned him away from Cole. "Hi Silvia" he said though his squished cheeks.

"Yeah, Hi! What happened!?" she looked at him, then turned to Cole, "Any You!" She pointed, "Sit!" then pointed to a chair.

The two boys followed her lead.

Rita checked on her brother, then after headed over to Ralph, who was throwing up.

But Daisy and Ryan had ran off into another room with Jaylen and Hector. The two were out cold, shivering and hurt.

They all went to bed early after warming up, and addressing their injuries.

When the rain passed, and the sun rose into the sky, everyone stirred.

It was time to address the Elephant in the room.

This is actually when things are going to pick up, and they will start to understand whats REALLY going on! You may want to (later) go back to (I think it was) Chapter 2 (or 3) and find all the foreshadowing!
