Chapter Thirty-Five

Chapter Start!

When Cole woke up the next morning, he looked out the small Inn window, to see the town.

The people where in red and orange clothes, and many where getting ready for the day.

When everyone got ready, they headed out to meet up with Captain Roland, before leaving for Swing Well City, where the Steal Winds hid.

They talked with him, and Roland had spoken about the problem they had.

Nine people walking into a town or city, not close to anything important, would make people question them.

People already have questioned them.

So Roland came up with the idea, of half of them head to Swing Well, and the others take the ship to the Camp Bell Hot Springs.

Heading to Swing Well meant going into the Wind Shrine, meaning a fight, so only the ones they needed should go; the rest should head to the Hot springs.

"Alright" Gil stood, "If no one is going to say it, I will."

He looked around, "Cole, you're going to Swing Well, because you can read the ruins." He pointed to his friend, then to Silvia, "Silvia, we need you because you use wind magic" He turned to Rita, "Rita, you're the only person I would bet my life on, so you're here with us, the rest go to the Hot Springs, and have fun."

Gil sat down.

"I'm coming too! I have a bad felling about this place" Emmy spoke up.

Gil sighed, "Fine, but no more"

As soon as he said this, Hector jumped up, "Hey! I Want To See The Ruins!"

"I'll draw you a picture" Cole said plainly.

"Okay" he sat down.

When they had decided, and said their good bye's, the team split up.

Cole, Gil, Silvia, Rita and Emmy are going to Swing Well.

And Daisy, Jaylen and Hector, Ryan and Ralph going to the Camp Bell Hot Springs.

When the next day came, each team set off.

On the road to Swing Well, Cole laughed along to the story Gil was telling Silvia and Emmy.

"And then! When we Finally got to the Shrine! Cole Throw The Wet Paint Brush, Hitting Victoria in the back of the head, making her fall, and I Still Won!" Gil boasted.

"Only Because you tripped me right after!" Cole broke in.

They walked for a few hours, the island wasn't that big, so they should be at Swing Well a little after noon.

When they made it to the City, it was large, but this place seemed off, they knew it was quiet, but for the size, it was silent.

The Five looked around Spring Well.

"Something's wrong" Rita spoke up.

They walked, only to find no one.

The team decided to check out the shrine.

But when they got there, the twilight sun cast a great shadow upon the wind shrine, all the towns people sat there, praying.

"Umm..." Emmy spoke, and all their heads turned.

"Are you here to try the trial?" they all spoke at once.

"Sure" Gil said, pulling the rest of the group through the crowd, and up to the shrine.

"Cole, read"

The teen nodded, and started reading; "As one before, and when they pray, thee lady with wind, will open this door, but be wear the towns folk, close thee door when you enter ...please..."

Everyone blinked.

Oh great...

Silvia made her way to the door, then quickly used her magic to open it.

The people watched, they smiled.

"Another Challenger"

They breathed.

The door opened to her, and the five stepped in, the city people stood, and smiled.

"The Door" they all spoke, then said it again, and again.

"Close it?" Cole looked at Gil.

"Of Course."
