Chapter 55

I'm sorry... this one was kind of hard to write... I hope you all enjoy, and I'll get chapters out faster, for this is the start, of the end...

Chapter Start...

Coles eyes widened to see Emmy, who had jumped in the way of the bullet, saving the boys life.

She fell to the ground, the bullet just missed her heart.

Cole dropped to his knees, Gil and Rita followed along.

A scream could be heard across the room, Jaylen and Hector had woken up in time to see her jump in the way.

Their scream woke Daisy, who only saw the after math.

Queen Scarlet stood there, eyes wide.

Then busted up laughing, "I've been trying to kill her for YEARS! And now she goes and does this?" The queen laughed.

Cole looked up, and stared daggers at her, tears in his eyes.

Then he heard a cough.

The boys eyes looked down quickly, Emmy was there, looking up at him weakly.

"Emmy" he spoke.

She smiled, "stop crying sparlys, it doesnt look good on you~" she gave a weak pained laugh.

"Save your strength" Gil spoke up.

"Don't Go!" Cole yelled, trying to summon healing magic. He tried again, and again, but the no magic interior of the temple stopped his efforts.

Emmy sighed, "that ...wouldn't help" she coughed blood. "I just have one last thing to say, so Cole come closer"

He did what she said.

She gave another weak laugh, and a tear ran down her cheek, "closer"

He did as so, and when he got close enough-

-she kissed him.

When she released him, she coughed more blood, and whispered something in his ear.

His eyes widened, and when she went limp, he looked back up at the still laughing Queen.

A burning fire in his eyes.

"Oooh~ scary" the Queen smiled, "guards, grab him, and the girl" the Queen pointed at Cole and Emmy.

The guards walked over slowly.

"Come on you cowards!" The Queen ordered, "he's powerless in here!"

The men grabbed Cole and dragged him to the alter.

Another, sad looking guard, lifted the limp body of Emmy, and placed her next to Cole.

Men had to hold the boy down for some of the others to tire him there.

"Queen Scarlet of Clyden" Cole said, fire still in his eyes, sounding nothing like himself, but more serious -and angry, he spoke:

"You Will Regret This"

The Queen looked him in the eyes, only felling fear for a second, then letting it fade, she smiled insanely "tempting, but no- place the elements" she ordered.

Gils eyes stayed wide, only getting larger, as he watched his once, fun, nice, carefree friend, break. His shock stayed plastered on his face.

Ritas eyes where wide too, but not for the exact same reason, yes, she was shocked by Cole, but the idea of another friend dieing was ripping her apart.

The boys eyes swirls both, feeling a thousand emotions, tears rolled down their eyes. Their once great mind, now scrambled.

Daisy had tears rolling down her face, she was holding the boys. She was destroyed by the idea of a friendship, now gone forever, another by someone she thought of as nice now showing pain in every angry word. Then finally, her young friends, destroyed by the sight of death.

It was too much for all of them.

The Queen stood at the end of the alter, then started:

"With Theo Clyden's Sword of Fate and his older brother Oswald Harstar's Spear of Destiny; Take the four elements; the Crystalized Fire, the Gem of Water, the Emerald Earth and the Steal Winds, become what holds your being, along with Life and Death"

She the pointed to Cole for life, then Emmy for death.

"COME, WALK WITH THE LIVING ONCE MORE!" She yelled the last bit.

"Your sacrifice awaits."

With that, a blinding light shot from the alter, Gil and Rita covered their eyes, Daisy closed hers quickly, and pulled the boys head into her, shielding them from the blinding light.

Cole let out a bloodcurtailing scream, but fell silent moments later.

When the light died down, two figures stood there, the taller one with red hair, and green eyes. The shorter with gray hair and blue eyes.

They stopped, looking around, checking the room.

"Theo" the taller one started "do you think..."

The shorter one, Theo- turned fast with a smile "It Worked! I Told You Ozzy! Even Tinny Could Not Stop Us!" He shined.

Oswald (Ozzy?) Turned to his younger sibling, the two grabbed each others hand and did a small dance.

Queen Scarlet coughed.

The two stopped, and looked at her.

"I am Queen Scarlet, of the Kingdom Clyden" she bowed.

Oswald then pulled a few gold pieces out, and Theo happily took them.

Gil looked at the two "men" the looked the up and down, thinking "why do they look so weak..?"

Rita blinked to the sight of them, "why..." she thought to herself.

Daisy looked at the back of them, still holding the boys tight, she hoped they wouldn't see her.

The Queen blinked, "Anyways- Revenge..?" She questioned.

The boys thought for a moment...

Then some more...

Then Oswald snapped "right, didn't you said something about memory loss..?"

Theo shrugged "and recovery... we're basically at the same level as baby's..." Theo thought for a moment, "Hey Queeny Scar-scar~ we need to rest to get the rest of our memorys back, as well as our strength, or else this will be for nothing"

Queen Scarlet was taken aback, she expected basically everything- but THIS! They where basically CHILDREN! Her all mighty hero's of death, where CHILDREN!

She took a breath, and agreed to take them back to her castle...

As she did Oswald spoke up, "hey, didn't Crytinia say she would be reborn as well..?"

Theo thought for a moment "yeah... It was after I stabbed her with Fate..."

Oswald turned to the Queen, "we should detain all light users" he said this with some edge to his words, showing through his bubbly fausad.

The Queen smiled, "well that will be easy~ there's only one, and he's right there" she pointed to Cole, who was knocked unconscious.

"Oh crap" Theo blinked walking over, taking his blade off the alter as he looked at the boy.

Oswald walked on the other side, taking his spear, he looked down at Emmy.

He sighed, placing a hand on her head "I'm sorry" he spoke quietly.

"Don't Touch Her!" Jaylen yelled angrily, Daisy quickly pulled him back.

Oswald looked at the small boy, then over to Theo "ready to head out?"

Theo looked up at Oswald.

"Let's go"

Yup. Emmy died.

And gosh, I missed a good injury opportunity, but nope! No one went blind....
