Solisamon was currently looking through Hiro's encyclopedia to learn more about the human world. Bokomon always encouraged for his students to never stop learning. So it was a free time to learn. It was her turn to be on the encyclopedia while Gammamon was napping away, Hiro being busy with his meeting with Kiyo. A meeting to discuss setting up a Digimon meet and greet. To better associated digimon with the dorm students and to better establish their country. Currently they were thinking about which digimon should guest speak at the event. So focused with their work, leaving the digimon to themselves. Gammamon was napping away on Kiyo's bed like a cat on a warm summer day. Jellymon played "Animal Crossing" on her "Darling" Nintendo switch.

Finally a place where she was in charge! Citizens having to follow every one of her choices and decisions! Only 560 more bells before she can get approved to start up a Spa and Hair Salon. Oh if only she could have her avatar look much more like her! Though she did make a pretty cute human.

Solisamon became interested in flowers recently. Loving the vibrant colors and pretty smells of each species of flowers. Trying to learn the names of the many pretty blossoming florals. While looking at a picture of a soft pink peony is when the image started to glitch. The screen than had an image of a lion. One made of some type of green crystal. Could be one of those genstones that Jellymon told her about. Solisamon tried to refresh the screen like Hiro told her to do if the tablet ever acted up.

Then a static bolt of light green electricity hit her right between her eyes. The encyclopedia fell on the floor while green glitch modifiers surrounded her face. All attempts to fight back were halted by a mysterious force. Soon her body went limp like a string cut puppet, her teal eyes were now a glowing jade color.

The sound of the tablet falling drew the everyone's attention to the young "Pure" digimon. The sounds of distorted growls raised some concern. No one seemed to take notice of the glowing green eyes.

AN OBIVOUS WARNING SIGN!! BEST NOT TO OVER LOOK THIS!!

"Solisamon?" Gammamon slowly reached out his hand to the oni digimon shoulder. Clearly worried about the sudden change in behavior.

Please don't let it be a rebel phase. Kids these days can be easily influenced by what they see on the web nowadays. Most cases of digimon behaviour is because of what the internet shows them. Blues is currently making attempts to make the information digimon look up to be less addictive.

Once Solisamon took a week long vow of silence since she saw a monk online do it. Not letting Hiro know beforehand. Rushing her to Mummymon who found nothing wrong. So Hiro tried his best to monitor Solisamon activities on the web, so he would be spare from anymore scares.

Just as he was about to make contact, Solisamon grabbed his wrist and flung him hard into the wall. Gammamon could have went through the wall with how hard she threw him. This shocked everyone. Solisamon NEVER would hurt or let alone attack her family. Family and friends were too precious to ever do such a thing!

"Gammamon!" Hiro rushed over to check that his little brother was alright. Thankifully Gammamon recovered quickly.

Digimon healed much faster than humans which is why they can take much more damage. Bone crushing injuries were like bruises on the verge to fading. Making them ideal fighters.

Solisamon eyes flickered from green to teal then back to green. Trying to combat whatever took control over her. Then a voice spoke through her, the owner not being Solisamon. A portal of green static like color manifested behind her. Though it looked more like an unstable distortion rift.

"Follow. This one shall guide you to me. No contact outside the four of you. I tapped all your phones and all other forms of communication. Try anything and I will have her delete herself. Try to get out of coming to my verse, then I will erase this one's personality. You have exactly two minutes to give me your answer. No respond will only leave four left living and one digitama. Make your choice now. Clock is ticking" The voice was willing to kill Solisamon if their demands were not met.

GRRR!!! WHAT A COWARDLY PERSON OR DIGIMON! IF THEY WEREN'T HOLDING SOLISAMON HOSTAGE THEN GULUS WOULD DESTROY THE HECK OUT OF IT!!

Sadly their hands were tied to obey this voice demands.

"Fine. Though you must promise to release my sister once we arrive in your verse" Hiro main priority was to save Solisamon.

Freeing her from the diabolical hands who dared to enslave her.

"Huh. Considering this data being as family is such a fool hearted weakness. Creatures who can be hacked like everyday computers. Easy to manipluate and turn against owners. Emotional ties that are the main reason that's it is easy to get tender hearts like you guys to obey. Fine. Fine. I'll let your little "pet" go. Though the moment I do, I'll cut off any means to escape. Such as portals like this one" At least the voice was somewhat reasonable.

They had little choice but to follow the hacked Solisamon into the mysterious strange digiverse. To meet the one who pulled the invisible strings on Solisamon. Like a soulless marionette.

"WHAT A JERK! HOW COULD THEY DO TH-" Jellymon was about to yell more before Kiyoshiro covered her mouth.

"Shhh! We don't wanna anger her while they still have Solisamon under their control" Kiyo warned. Making his partner fall silent.

The moment that they stepped into the new verse, the portal vanished in a glitch style like flash. Solisamon eyes went back to their original color. Passing out in Hiro's arms. He was so relieved that the voice kept to their agreement.

They seem to be in a city made out of data. Structures similar to buildings were made out of dark grey and dull brick red bits of digital components. Streets were translucent, nearly invisible if it were not for the icons appearing ever few moments. They were in a dark web like city that reassembled Brooklyn. Mainly the dark underbelly of the city itself.

Fits perfectly for the voice to live in a place like this. Only place were someone would do what they.

The group was currently in a dark alley were dark ashy grey steam from the sewer grates. The foul smell picked their noses with the fumes. A dumpster was at the far left corner of the alley with two trash bins beside it. Chuumons were running through the small passage ways with the scrapes of food they held. Sounds of dogs barking echoed in that very alley.

Solisamon winced in pain as she curled up in her brother arms. She shook so violently that she could have been stuck in the ice age. What pain she must have gone through.

"Solisamon..." Hiro should have been more attentive to her. He could have prevent this.

Gammamon flew over to his siblings with the same worried expression. Gulus going crazy with worry. He was about to force Gammamon to digivolve just to teach the voice owner a lesson.

"...Hm...Hiro?" Solisamon eyes slowly cracked open as she saw the two blurs of her brothers. "I...I...sorry..." Tears ran down her her pink face.

"Shhh Shhh" Hiro softly petted her head as he soothed her. "You are not to blame. I am just happy that you are alright" That was an understatement for how he felt.

Gammamon hugged Solisamon tight. He did not care what she did. Controlled or not, Solisamon was his precious little sister! He could never stay mad at her.

"You okay?" Jellymon floated over to check if there was any chance that the hack can regain control.

None what so ever. That was another worry that left them.

"Voice.....need...help...." Solisamon tried to speak, but it seems like the hack made her extremely weak. Barely could get a few words out.

She need more time than she usually would to recover.

"That does not make what they did to you right. No one should force someone to help them if they don't want to! Whoever did this will be talking to us" Kiyo refused to let the culprit get off from what they did to his friends.

NO ONE GETS AWAY WITH HURTING ANYONE ON TEAM LIRURUN! ESPECIALLY THE YOUNGEST MEMBER OF THEM! GULUS AND JELLYMON WOULD MAKE THAT VERY CLEAR TO THEM! CRYSTAL CLEAR!!

After a bit of rest, Solisamon managed to recover enough energy to move. Leading them to the voice in question. She then bumped into a hooded figure wearing a strange type of mask.

A jade lion one. The crystal was reflective but it did conceal the face that was behind it.

The figure wore a dark green leather hooded jacket. Two pockets on each side, all four holding a different model hacking device. Wore black pants with a green lether belt.A crystal belt buckle with reassembled a jade gemstone on it's center. At their right side was a dark green side bag. From the looks of it, it contained some type of laptop. In their left arm was a modified skateboard, it had some thing underneath. Over their face was a jade lion mask.

"Finally, took you all long enough. Now down to business" The voice was much clearer than the distorted one that spoke through Solisamon. A boy's voice from the sound of it.

"How can we trust you? We don't know your name!" Jellymon pointed out. Ready to shock this stranger for hurting her friend.

"Do you honestly think I can not easily take control over you as I did your friend?" The figure question seemed to shut Jellymon up. "Though if you need a name, I go by "Jade Lion". "Jade" for short"

"So "Jade". Why did you call us here?" Hiro asked. Making sure to keep track of "Jade" movements in case that he tried anything.

"Digimon have been attacking folks here left to right. Many were the partners of hackers. Word on the inner web says a digimon is puppeting them. One of them being my f-....partner, Meicrackmon. From what my scans tell me. Meicrackmon came from your verse. Not to mention your digimon" He points to Solisamon. "The Multiverse Hero is known to help any verse in need. Saved time by bringing you here to me. I am not a fan of waiting around for my call to be heard. I do enough wait time for internet customer service" Patience was not "Jade" strong suits.

So this Meicrackmon must've been the one who was with Riku. She must have some how came to Webverse Digital World. Seems like she finally found a partner that she could be real friends with. 

"So you just need help in saving your digimon?" Hiro asked. Thinking all "Jade" really needed to do was ask.

NOT DO ALL OF THIS! VIOLENCE WAS LITERALLY NOT NEEDED IN THIS SITUATION! WHY?! WHY?! DID "JADE" JUST WAKE UP ONE MORNING AND STRAIGHT UP CHOSE VIOLENCE?!

"That and locating the puppet master causing this mess.  I want to personally choke them with the very strings they use on others. Hackers are struggling to make ends meat here. There is no need to worsen it. Digimon are both useful and harmful in this verse. Meicrackmon may be a "pet" but she is not to be some talentless quack's toy!" Seems like Meicrackmon means more to "Jade" then he rather admit.

"If you're so skilled, then why do you need our help?" Jellymon raises her brow.

For someone who can take control of digimon without any effort. Then why would "Jade" need help locating a mere hacker? Could it be more than his abilities?

"Whover is doing this is using a block program that takes TWO hackers to by pass it. Thought your precious "Darling" was skilled enough to do that. Am I wrong?" "Jade" asked in a teasing tone.

HE DID NOT INSULT KIYOSHIRO'S SKILLS! FINE! HE IS MORE THAN HAPPY TO TAKE UP THE CHALLENGE!

Thus the two worked on getting the location of who everyone knows as the "Hackester Puppeteer". It took about fifteen minutes to full get a lock on where the culprit was hanging out.

"Huh. I guess you do have skills" "Jade" had to congratulate Kiyoshiro for his swift computer work.

The location was the tallest skyscraper in the virtual city.It had the eerie red glow that makes your skin crawl. The building structure was taller than their eyes could see. The peak of skyscraper was beyond their eye sight. Their destination was the 100 floor.

WHY ARE ALL BOSSES ALWAYS ON THE HIGHEST FLOORS OR DEEPEST FLOORS OF THE CREEPIEST PLACES IMAGINABLE?!

"So the "Hackester Puppeteer" is. Just wait Mei....I am coming" "Jade" whispered as the others began to ascend to the 100 floor.

Solisamon blinks as she manages to overhear "Jade" true voice. Seems like behind that cold mean exterior was something unexpected.

Gammamon and Solisamon both helped carry Hiro  since using the elevator may be alert the enemy of them being there. Jellymon carried Kiyoshiro. It was a bit difficult then helping him break a fall back with Archnemon. "Jade" used his hovering skateboard to take him to the top.

"Hoverboard! SOLISAMON WANT ONE!" All the excitement nearly caused Solisamon to drop Hiro.

"No. You can float, what would be the point of having a board?" "Jade" eyerolled. This was not the time for childish behavior.

Then they arrived at the top of the skyscaper. Good thing too. Mainly since anymore flying and Gammamon would have dropped.

"Grrrrrr!!!"

All heads turned to see Meicrackmon whose eyes were a dark pink like color. She looked ready to attack them. Something of a lime green color was attacked to her head.

"Mei!" "Jade" seemed sort of happy to see his "pet".

"Hehe, oh if it isn't the famous "Jade Lion". Now that I possess your dear partner. Nothing can stop me. Even as we speak, digimon from all over are under my control shall spread my name and power. Nothing will stop me" A voice spoke through Meicrackmon.

"Thats...!" Jellymon recognized the voice from her days at the Digital World in their verse.

"Meicrackmon is not yours!!" "Jade" got ready to personally murder whoever owned that voice.

"Sorry to tell you but I have complete control over your dear kitten here. Must say. Compared to my real body, this body is quite useful to me. Swift. Stealth. Easy to intimate others with my new sharp claws" Admiring his puppet body.

"WHY YOU PIECE OF-!" "Jade" seemed ready to murder that pesky voice owner.

Solisamon walked over to "Jade" and placed a hand on his chest. Solisamon expression was unreadable at first but then she said something quite shocking.

"JADE IS MY FRIEND! Solisamon promises...." There Solisamon summons her sword from the pocket dimension it was usually kept in. "Solisamon promises to get HER PARTNER back"

Everyone seemed shocked by that. Especially "Jade". Seems like the term of "Friends" was something that he did not fully understand.

"Ohohoho~ Confident are you. "Jade Lion" used you like a puppet like I make digimon into. Why call such a person a friend? How do you know that "Jade" will not use you as the mere pawns that he treats you as? In realty, he is no different from me" The voice made sense.

Solisamon growled. "No just has trust issues!"

"Jade" froze at those words. How did she know?

"Well I guess living here would cause a person to have trust issues" Now "Jade" behavior was starting to make sense to Hiro.

Hackers like him must be very wary about who they allow into their inner circle. Must be the main reason he did something as drastic as to do what he did. All to seek help to rescue his partner.

Showing that he truly does value Meicrackmon more than a mere pet. No, this child really did care their partner.

"Hmph. Sentimental nonsense will only leave to your grave" With that the voice puppeted Meicrackmon to attack them.

"Gammamon! Solisamon!"

"Jellymon sama!"

The two digivices meters filled up once as their digimon digivolved.

"Gammamon digivolved to....Betelgammamon!"

"Jellymon digivolve to....Teslajellymon!"

"Solisamon digivolve to...Lumosmon!"

The three digimon then charged to stop Meicrackmon. Determinated to release their feline friend from the puppet strings which binded her.

"Please hold on, we shall free you from the enemy shackles" Lumosmon promised.

"Aim for what's on the back of her neck! That thing must be what's controlling her!" "Jade" pointed out as his laptop displayed that a source below was in fact controlling Meicrackmon through that lime green rope.

"Sorshot!" The moment the attack came to mind, Hiro called it out.

Meicrackmon blocked it with easy. Betelgammamon was barely able to evade her swift slash movements.

"Punishune!" Kiyoshiro ordered.

Teslajellymon obeyed. Wrapping her tentacles around  Meicrackmon body before delivering some massives shocks.

Lumosmon then severed the string from Meicrackmon. Catching her as the puppeter string lay flat beside her.

"Jade" rushed over instantly to check that his partner was alright. The whole being shocked to a black crisp aside, Meicrackmon was a okay.

"Mei....thank goodness" "Jade" then looked up towards the heroes. "......"

Maybe there were others that they could trust out there.

"HOW DARE YOU INJURY ME?!!" A new voice demanded as the roof began to shake violently.

"W-what is going on?!!" Kiyo panicked as he was on the verge of an Integer Overload.

"Parasimon..." Teslajellymon answered. Knowing that voice from anywhere.

A real troublesome digimon who took control over others just for their own benefits. History says that hundreds of hordes of them went to the human world once but all were slaughtered by a small group of heroes.

It would seem that history would be repeating itself.

Emerging from below the roof was the flithy parasite digimon in question. Several of it's tentacles were spread all around the city like a type of network. No doubt that many more digimon were under it's control. All to shows it's power and name. Truly a disgusting action that needed to be brought to justice.

"Hiro, allow me to face him" Lumosmon took a fighting stance in front of her partner.

"We will help as well" "Jade" and Meicrackmon stood beside them.

They wanted a taste of the SWEET PAYBACK too. NO ONE TAKES A DIGIMON FROM THEIR HUMAN AND GETS AWAY WITH IT!! NO ONE!!

"Then let's get rid of this pest problem!" Hiro nodded

Soon the two female digimon charged towards Parasimon. Evading his mind controlling tentacles while doing so. Meicrackmon then snuck behind Parasimon.

"Jade!" She called out as she gave her the attack

"Modestly Stun!" Upon hearing that, Meicrackmon used her stinger like tail to paralyze Parasimon.

Now Lumosmon can deliver the finishing blow to release everyone from this digimon foul control.

"No more will the innocent be forced to carry out your cruel orders. It is time they awaken from the spell you casted upon them. As the "Hero of the Multiverse" I, Lumosmon will give thou your punishment! HIRO!" Lumosmon gave Hiro the attack order that would put an end to the sick digimon once and for all.

"Sun Crescent Star!"

In the sky, the moon light shone as bright as the sun itself. All the light particles were gathered inside the oni club sword of Lumosmon. Giving it enough power as an asteroid belt full of falling stars. A real finishing move that all TV stars use in the climax of their fights.

SAY YOUR PRAYERS PARASIMON! CAUSE THIS IS YOUR FUNERAL!

"S-stop! You can work with me! My right hand, n-no partner!" Parasimon tried to escape this. Not wishing to die.

No one held any signs of pity or mercy for him.

Lumosmon held her sword with both hands. Then using all her strength, unleashed the series of slashes. In an explosion of blinding light and rubble. All that was left of Parasimon was a digitama.

Solisamon then returned. Hiro having to catch her before she hit the pavement of the roof.

Lumosmon took a great toll on her body that left Solisamon out for hours. Similar to how when Gammamon digivolves into all his form all in one day.

Reports of digimon partners coming back to their senses soon filled the area. Seems like their job here was done.

"Jade" opened the portal back home as a thank you for the heroes help. May not be the nicest person in the world, but better a friend than an enemy. Just as they were about to leave, a voice stopped them. A female voice.

There was a nine year chinese girl with dark green curly hair stood. Her hoodie was pulled down to to show the locks shining in the sun. Her neon green eyes were a sight to behold. In her hands was the jade mask, inside there was some sort of audio and vocal disguise device.

JADE WAS A GIRL?! A NINE YEAR OLD GIRL?! A NINE YEAR OLD GIRL MANAGED TO OPEN A PORTAL, HACK A DIGIMON, AND SHUT OFF THEIR ESCAPE ROUTES?!

"I am Beryl....though most know me as my hacker alias "Jade Lion" Beryl was pretty shy without the mask on. Twirling a bit of her hair around her finger to keep calm.

"YOU WERE A GIRL THE WHOLE TIME?!" Gammamon was completely shocked.

"Yeah...I pose as a boy to hide myself from my parents" Meicrackmon comforted Beryl so it be easier for her to speak.

"Your parents?" Hiro asked. Now interested in Beryl. "Do they know about you being a hacker?"

Beryl shook no violently. Nearly hid behind Meicrackmon. Her face seeth with such anger that it nearly rivaled Mei signature glare.

"NO! All those two want is their perfect image of a daughter. Not caring how I feel about the situation at all! Having a genius daughter just makes the parents only want her to be  THEIR PICTURE PERFECT CHILD! Not wanting any of it, I ran away. Got caught by some hackers. Boss related to me and let me join the group. Three weeks later, I become one of the master elite hackers of the world" The last bit put a proud smile on her face.

Then the neon eyes fell on Solisamon. Sorrow filled them.

"In this world, no one trusts anyone. Even groups are highly wary of working together. Fear and manipluation are the tools to get others to work with you. Though even after all I did...Solisamon called me her friend....I still don't fully trust others. However I think saving my partner is an expectation I can give. Would you like to start over? She held out a hand.

Hiro and Kiyo looked at each other, both thinking about this. Two smiles then appeared on their faces.

"Sure. Just don't hack our friends again" Hiro partly joked.

Soon the friends returned home. Leaving the young hacker alone with her partner.

"Jade" made nice friends. Mei is happy for "Jade"" Meicrackmon hugged "Jade" affectionately. "Now "Jade" give it back!"  Wanting "Jade" to return the hug.

"Jade" nodded and returned the hug. A few silent tears rolled down her face behind the mask.

Friends....

Something that does not truly exist in this verse. Beryl gagged at the word before this whole ordeal. Thinking that they were just some easy to manipluate pawns. Never had someone claimed to be her friend so willingly. It felt nice.

"JADE" IS MY FRIEND!" Solisamon voice echoed in her mind.

Yes. Beryl was now more than a genius child. She was the "Jade Lion"! As well as Solisamon and co. friend!
