Why do you think that things like bullying get more advertised/publicised than things like being blind??
Personally, I think that they are both equally important but some people believe that "if we can't fix it then why bother trying" my reaction to this is that it is absolutely outrageous! Just because you can't fix something doesn't mean you shouldn't acknowledge it, just because you can't fix it doesn't mean you can't help people going through it. Agree or Disagree?
I believe that the quote in the media can be interpreted two different ways that both support the topic of this question:
1. A blind man in a world of people who choose to ignore his disability.
Or
2. A man amidst a group of people who is so naive and arrogant that he doesn't realise that they can't hear him.
Which do you think is worse?
