Who's your favourite character?

I think I'd pull Riaz and Tasneem out of that equation because it wouldn't be fair.

I really love Lena though. I remember feeling so upset when people called a whore and a slut-even though Riaz was right there with her and it definitely takes two to tango. Like, why defend him while shaming her?

And I know that she's such a terribly minor character, but she symbolises a lot of things and she taught Riaz a lot of things.

She taught him that it was okay to touch a person and enjoy the feeling.
She allowed him to understand his true feelings for Tasneem and she sort of... allowed him to protect her for that short while that he was her friend. And I think he really needed that. He needed to know that he was still capable of protecting and caring for someone. And I think he loved her in his own small way- not in love but just love. I think he just loved her.

I think I'd probably give her more importance if I ever went back to edit Normal with You.

But that's a major IF.
