Why does the poetry stop in part 3 of the book?

In all honesty, the poetry simply does not seem to fit part 3. The first two parts have this sort of smoky quality to it but in part 3, it's all if all the smoke disappears and there's more clarity to the writing.

I think it's kind of because there's more clarity in Riaz's mind as to what happened. Tasneem's emotional state was so jumbled up because her mind simply didn't want to remember but Riaz can't seem to forget.
