Why is Raees so angry with his dad?

Spoiler alert!

In chapter 15, we find out that Raees and Yaaseen's dad tried to kill himself. And lots of readers are confused about Raees' anger.

Yes, their dad has a mental illness-  and it's not depression as we'll find out in the upcoming chapter- and it's not something he can help. And it's easy for us to say that he should understand that it's not his fault.

But the thing is- it's really, really difficult living with someone who has any mental disorder. It's an illness that can't be seen and as someone who doesn't have the same problem, it's actually really, really difficult to rationalise why that person is doing what they're doing.

It actually takes a very, very long while to accept that it's not their fault. That they're not... acting that way because they just want to.

It's actually a really personal part of of my own life too. A part of my soul goes into all of my stories and I guess this one bit is what's in this story.
