  "D-daniel..... Earth to Dan.... D-D-DANIEL!!!" I hadn't noticed that Eli was calling my name.

"Y-y-yes?" I replied, a huge hue of red could have been completely covering my face now, but I don't know. The two of us just looked at each other for a while. I know that I've been crying the whole time; I mean, I did hit my head on a locker door.
I felt a warm hand wiping the tears way from my face and know that it wasn't mine. I looked up at Eli and his hand was caressing my cheeks to get them dry.
