QUESTION:

When you stare into a mirror where do your eyes go first?

I bet most of you have never given this any thought. I mean you go to the mirror for a reason, right? To brush your teeth, comb your hair, put on make-up, check if "your butt is 'really' big in this" or if your tie is on straight.

I bet if you look now, I bet if you go stand before a mirror right now, your eyes will first travel over something specific. Could be the receding hairline. Could be the belly, protruding a bit more. Could be that mole you love on the side of your lip. Or a particular tattoo. Or your eyes- assessing their own level of redness after the night before...

I... look at my arms- they being indicative of my deteriorating flesh. I look at the creases; ebbing and flowing as I gain or lose a kilo or two. There was one time last year (I starve my feelings) when I could touch forefinger to thumb around my upper arm. That scared the shit out of me.

Well? Fess up, where do YOUR eyes go first?
