How did the first person discover milk?

How did they know you could drink it?

How did they explain what they did to that poor cow!?

Did they just think, 'Oh look, white stuff comes out of these dangly things, lemme drink it like them baby cows'
(Oh god that sounds so wrong XD)

Thinking about that how did they know to only try it with the female cows....

*Cough*
