They had a practice match that day after school. So, Oikawa and Kageyama didn't get a chance to have a conversation and Iwaizumi also didn't get the chance to ask Oikawa about what happened between him and Kageyama.

After the match is over all of them goes back to their home, except Oikawa and Iwaizumi. They stay there as Oikawa wants to practice some serves.

Oikawa is busy practicing his serves. Iwaizumi coughs as he is trying to get his friend's attention. It works and Oikawa turns towards Iwaizumi.

"Do you have a cold, Iwa-chan?" the brunette asked.

"What the hell!? No!"

"Ouh! Then that's good," Oikawa smiles and focuses on his practice. But again he is interrupted by Iwaizumi's kick. "Ouch! Iwa-chan! That hurts!" Oikawa whines.

"Shut up and tell me what did you do to Kageyama?" Iwaizumi asks as he pulls Oikawa up from the ground.

"Tobio-chan? Wait-"

"Wha-"

"AAAAAAAAAA!" Oikawa screams so loudly that Iwaizumi is sure that the people of the whole locality heard his scream. He touches his ears to see if they are bleeding or not.

"What the- why are you screaming, Oikawa?!"

"Iwa-chan! Tobio-chan-" Oikawa takes a pause and then continues, "Nothing."

"And you want me to believe that? We're friends for years, Oikawa. Then why did you ask me not to let Kageyama go to the rooftop?"

Oikawa lies, "Because he was disturbing the peace of the rooftop, Iwa-chan."

Iwaizumi's jaw drops hearing the excuse. Of course, he knows that Oikawa just hates Kageyama. But that time it seemed that he was worried about Kageyama. At least, he can read Oikawa's emotions, though he agrees that he can never find what goes inside Oikawa's mind. He sighs, "Look Oikawa, I'm talking nicely cause I'm not in the mood for fighting."

"But you just kicked me-"

"You want a punch too?" Iwaizumi shows his fist.

"N-no. Please continue, Iwa-chan."

"Hmm. You see stop picking fights with Kageyama. Why do you always tease that poor kid? You know he's not in good term with his parents and I heard a few days ago his grandfather died-"

"Wait what? How come I-" Oikawa's eye widens. 'So, is this the reason Tobio-chan asked that question?'- Oikawa thinks in his mind.

"Cause you're too busy with others and never try to have a nice conversation with him. But yeah, he just said these to me."

Oikawa bites his lower lip, "Iwa-chan. Today Tobio-chan-" Oikawa pauses and looks around.

"What? What did Kageyama do?"

"Um..... Let's go home first. It's getting late. Wanna stay over in my place?" Oikawa offers.

Iwaizumi nods, "Okay, let's clean up then."

After cleaning, Iwaizumi locks the gym and follows Oikawa to his house.

Oikawa keeps complaining about how Takeru always disturbs him until they reach his house. Iwaizumi rolls his eyes.

The boys are in Oikawa's room after finishing their dinner.

"So?" Iwaizumi gives Oikawa a 'Now tell what the hell happened between you and Kageyama or else I'll kill you' look.

Oikawa gulps and says, "That's a scary look, Iwa-chan."

Iwaizumi glares at Oikawa. Oikawa can feel the murderous vibe coming from his best friend.

"Okay. So you see-" Oikawa brings his knees to his chest and hugs. "Remember Tobio-chan had a band-aid in his left hand a week ago and he said he burnt his hand?"

Iwaizumi nods.

"Well, he did it himself."

"What do you mean?"

"Tobio-chan tried to-" he pauses then starts explaining slowly.

Oikawa finishes explaining everything to Iwaizumi and they decide in the end to help Kageyama with whatever he had...
