Finally, it was the day when Sam and Sanju were leaving for Kolkata along with Sanju's family. After bidding bye to Mr. Vinay and their college's professors and promising them to make them proud, they left for Kolkata.
After 8 hrs of journey, they all reached Kolkata and as they decided, Sam's family was already present there.
After getting a hotel to stay for a night, they all went to have dinner in near by restaurant.

Sam's father- I hope that you both are prepared enough for tomorrow.

Sam- Yes Dad, we have practiced well and now, hope for the best.

Sanju's father- That's the spirit. I know, you both will try your best and will make us proud more.

Sam- Yes uncle, we'll try our best.

Like this, they finished their dinner with a lot of chatting session. All this while, Sam noticed Sanju was silent and worried for something. She decided to ask her after they will reach their room.
Everyone chatted for some more time. Finally, they decided to call it a night. They all left for their rooms. Sam and Sanju, too reached and after changing in night dresses, they both were lying on the bed-

Sam- What has happened to you, always you are the one who is all confident for any performance, today what happened??

Sanju(sighing)- I am nervous.

Sam(widening her eyes in shock)-You are nervous, I mean The Sanjana Malhotra is nervous. You toh, never feel nervous, Miss. Confident.....

Sanju(irritated)-Shut up, everything is not a joke. I am nervous because the song Vinay sir has given us, that is, very difficult as it has some tinch of classical music. Sam, I already told you let's decide our song by ourselves but no, you decide that Vinay sir will give us song and see, how difficult song he has chosen.

Sam- If you had problem with the song, then you should have reminded me 2 weeks before, were you sleeping all the while??

Sanju- I don't have any problem with the song. I am just nervous because our music type is not classical.

Sam- First of all, I am handelling that classical part in the song, so you have to trust me. And, Vinay sir has more knowledge than us. He knows that which song should be performed and where. He has given us a right song.
And please don't be nervous. We have practiced well.

Sanju- See buddy, I don't have any expectations with this competition. It will be better if you also leave all your expectations because Classical music is not my cup of tea. I know, we have practiced but still, it is a problem.

Sam- I know, but trust me. You and I will rock it, like every damn time. Just trust me. I know, this song will be outstanding when we'll sing it.

Sanju nodded after seeing Sam's confidence. Then, they both decided to sleep as tomorrow was a big day.

Time flied and soon, it was morning. Sam and Sanju both were ready to leave for the auditorium, with their families. They all had their breakfast with necessary talks and jokes. Sam and Sanju both practiced for one more time.
Sam and Sanju, video called, Mr. Vinay and took his blessings. Soon, it was evening and they all Left for the auditorium where, competition was going to be held. The auditorium was very big like a concert hall.
After asking receptionist, they got to know that they have to wait for 2 hrs as other college's student were also performing. Basically, they were the third last to perform.
They all waited and watched other college's performance.

Soon, time flied and now, it was the time for Our Sam and Sanju's performance. They both hugged their parents and took their blessings.
They came on stage after tuning their instruments. Sam and Sanju passed, a smile towards each other, as they both were saying "Our friendship will win."

Sanju first strummed her guitar and Gave a tune and added her own voice.

Ek Radha Ek mira, dono ne shyam ko chaha....

As Sanjana sang those lines, everyone in the hall turned silent. The intensity in her voice and guitar strumming was outstanding. Sanju again, added her voice while Sam was giving low violin tunes.

Radha sang prabhu ras rachaye, mira kewal swapn sajaye....
Radha phir virha m tadapati, vish piwat mira bhakti m hasti....
Ek chahe sang rhna, ek paye bhakti ki gahna....jag sumire dono k prem ko Dekho....jag sumire dono k prem ko Dekho.......

Ek RadheShyama, ek mira ka kanha.....

As Sanjana sang those lines,her parents eyes were filled with tears as their daughter was singing with so much of intensity. They saw, Sanju's eyes were closed and her cheeks were wet with tears. They never thought that Sanju will cry while singing a song.
After that, Sam slowly increased her low notes to high. And Sanju slowed her guitar notes. Now, Sam added her own voice with tunes of violin-

Mira k prabhu girdharnagar, Radha k manmohan....
Sa Ga Ma Pa Dha, Pa Dha Ma Pa Re Ma.......Sa Re Sa Re Ni Sa.....
Mira k prabhu girdharnagar, Radha k manmohan....

Ek Rani,ek daasi, dono hari prem diwani....

As Sam sung these lines, everyone mesmerized by her way of singing, especially that Classical part, she handled it perfectly, Sanju was also impressed with Sam by her classical way of singing. And then, Sam and Sanju both sung together-

Antar kya dono ki tripti m bolo, antar kya dono ki tripti m bolo.....
Ek jeet na mani, ek haar na Mani, ek jeet na mani, ek haar na Mani.....

Ek prem diwani,ek daras diwani....

In this way, they both finished the song on a good note. They opened their eyes to see proud on their parent's face and an impressed look on judges and audience's face.
After a couple a minutes of silence, whole auditorium broke into a huge round of applause. Sam and Sanju smiled towards each other in tears as it was their best performance in whole life till now.
