The first day.

Jungkook knew that he was going to have a hard college life with how long it took to find the freshman dorms alone. When he did finally find them, he was met with a vampire.

A vampire.

"A-Are you my roommate?" he had asked. Of course, he was, and of course, the vampire only glanced up at him before scoffing and ignoring him.

Fun.

He knew that his online friend had told him to not make enemies, but he hadn't even done anything to this guy! He was just... rude.

However, on his first day of Witchcraft class, he met someone more friendly.

The room was quite opposite of what he's used to. He's seen a few potions and has even made some before, but this room was filled with all sorts of things related. Cauldrons for brewing, shelves packed with very old-looking craft books, many potions already set up for display, and display cases with ingredients used for making potions.

This didn't look like an ordinary classroom. No. It felt much more like a home he was stepping into. A witch's home, for sure.

"Are you a bunny!?"

Jungkook turned with wide eyes at the surprised voice approaching behind him. A human. A man. Probably a warlock who actually belongs here more than he does.

"Y-Yeah..."

The guy, despite his confusion, smiled at Jungkook with an angelic look in his eyes as if he could've been an angel instead. "You must be new here."

He nodded, speechless.

"It's okay. Come sit with me. I'd love to help you, you just look so adorable. I can't believe we have a bunny in here!"

The guy grabbed at Jungkook's arm, leading him to sit next to him.

He sat with his ears tucked back, a bit nervous, yet thankful for having someone take him in so easily.

"My name's Jimin. What's your name, bunny-ssi?"

Jimin. Jungkook felt his ears twitch up a bit, excited to be making a friend as soon as he walked into the door. Maybe university won't be so bad after all.

———

Professor Lee was an easygoing guy, Jungkook could tell. And he knew immediately that he had chosen the right class the moment he saw his professor using all sorts of magic.

The class had gone by in a flash as if he hadn't been there at all.

"What made you choose this class?" Jimin asked as they were dismissed for the day.

Jungkook shrugged. "It looks fun."

He knew exactly why, but he didn't want to say 'Oh, because I'm only a bunny hybrid and I feel useless otherwise, so I want to force myself to be anything else".

Yeah. That's why he chose it; to be something greater than just some... bunny.

"It is fun!" Jimin gladly told him.

Jungkook was so busy smiling at the older that he wasn't paying attention to where he was walking, which was straight out of the door and into a hard, air-taking brick wall; a person.

"What the fuck?"

He hadn't noticed that the person he ran into had anything in his hand, but the moment he heard glass hitting the floor, his ears fell back and he frowned at the loud cracking.

He looked up at the person he ran into, apologizing to him, but the guy— a werewolf— only scoffed at him.

"Clean it up. I'm late." The wolf didn't even spare another glance before walking off, leaving Jungkook to the broken glass and spilled drink on the floor.

Jimin walked out from behind Jungkook, sighing. "He's scary sometimes. There's no need to apologize to him, he won't care. I'll help you clean it."

And by that, Jimin meant: "I'll use my spell and it'll be gone before your eyes," which was cool because Jungkook got to see magic in action yet again.

Still, that werewolf was a bit rude. It soured him a bit.

"Don't worry about him," Jimin said again. "He's the alpha here, but if he touches my new bunny friend, I'll turn him into a worm." He smiled as he wrapped his arm around Jungkook, pulling a smile from the younger as well.

Yeah. Dumb alpha wolf guy. Jungkook has a friend, now, so if anyone messes with him, he's protected.

He better back off.

———

On his way back to the dorms, Jungkook went by the library to get a few books, but in the next hall, there was a food court. In the food court, he saw a dog hybrid. The hybrid was setting up a sign on one of the shops— a 'now hiring' sign.

The sign above the shop said "Coffee". That's it.

"This place is only called Coffee?" he asked to himself, but the dog hybrid turned to him, suddenly aware of the bunny.

"Oh!" The guy smiled a bit. "Yeah, yeah. Kinda simple, right? We're looking for workers, if you're interested." He scanned Jungkook, finding no harm in asking.

Jungkook hummed in response.

He does need the money. Though he only started school today, he knew that this hiring sign would soon be gone, especially with all these students wanting a job on campus.

"I'll take an application, if you don't mind it." He pursed his lips, ears still settled back on his head, but the other smiled so bright at him and clapped enthusiastically.

"Of course!"

And just like that, Jungkook not only had an interview tomorrow, but he also finished his first day of what was supposed to be hell.

It could've gone a bit better, but he was fine with what it was, despite the rude wolf from earlier and his silent roommate. He'll get the hang of it soon. Hopefully.
