~~~Michael's POV~~~

I awoke the next morning to Serenity's cries. I got out of the bed and looked at Sofia. She was sleeping peacefully, only stirred a bit when I got up and put my shirt on.

"Michael, please don't leave me again. I love you so much." she said reaching for me on my side of the bed. I softly chuckled and leaned over the bed and kissed her forehead.

"I won't baby, I promise."

I quietly walked out of the room and closed the door softly behind me. I walked to Serenity's room and picked her up out of the bed. She grabbed onto my shirt tightly and continued to cry.

"Sh-h baby girl. I'm right here." I walked downstairs and entered the kitchen, trying to not wake anyone up.

"What do you want to eat? Milk, or baby food? Do you want some candy?" she immediately stopped crying and looked at me like her mother does. I giggled at the expression. It was as if she was telling me 'I am only three months old, does it look like I eat that stuff?'

"I guess not, sorry baby girl, milk it is." I grabbed the milk Fee had stored last night, and placed it into the baby bottle and into the microwave for twenty seconds. When it was done, I placed the nipple in her mouth and watched as she sucked away.

I never truly thanked Sofia for having my baby. It means so much to me . We created this beautiful child together and I just don't know how I feel towards Sofia now. My feelings changed too quickly when I found out. I have never felt so rejuvenated and happy in my life. Yes, Lisa had Emily, but I'm in love with Sofia, the feeling is defiantly there and I can't change it. Emily will always be my child regardless, no matter who her mother is. I love Emily just as much as I love Serenity.

Sofia and myself, vowed and promised to never let Serenity come into this world with two different families. Two different families meaning: in two different homes. Her biological parents not together, but with separate spouses. I am going to stick with that promise, that is why I am going to make sure Serenity, Sofia, Emily, Nick, Janet, Joseph, Mother, Christina, Nathan, (Sofia's Parents), and her and mine other siblings, are all gathered at my home today later on in the evening for a party.

A Surprise, Surprise Party

Yeah, I like that idea. I'll have everything settled today, as a matter of fact, right now.

Are wondering what time it is? It's only 4:46 a.m.

Early? I know right. Well when you have a three month old that is constantly hungry or needs a diaper change, you'll be up this early too.

I burped Serenity, and placed her bottle on the kitchen island. I walked out of the kitchen with her on my hip. I grabbed the phone and started to dial everyone's number.

~~1 hour & 30 minutes later~~

After calling everyone, and getting cursed out in the process, I got everything situated. I have workers already at my home decorating and setting things up. I am ready for today. I dressed Serenity and packed her baby bag. I wrote a note to Sofia and placed it on the bed next to her pillow.

When I exited her home, I opened the back door of my car and put Serenity in her car seat and strapped her in securely. I buckled myself in as well and drove away.

I got to my home and looked at the house in awe. Everything looked beautiful. Everything was how I had imagined it to be. Sofia will love this. It is now 2:45 p.m. and I am sure by now that Sofia is awake. She should be calling me at 3:00 p.m exact if she read my note.

I took Serenity into my bedroom, that I share with Sofia, and laid her down on the bed. I pulled out the camera and tripod stand. I set it up and pressed the record button.

As the red light flashed, I looked into the camera and spoke, putting Serenity in my lap. She was wide awake and very happy today.

"So, I've decided to have a surprise, surprise party for Sofia. This beautiful child I have sitting on my lap right now is my daughter. Her name is Serenity and she is three, almost four months old. She has a sister, she is ten months old. Her name is Emily. Sofia and myself made a promise to this beautiful girl. And that brings me to this party. Serenity is the main reason for it and also my feelings. I love Sofia very much, and if she ever watches this video, I want to let her know that I love you so much. My love for you goes beyond infinity. It is simply hard to describe, for you know how I truly feel. I am glad I met you and saved you from a beast that mistreated you. I'm your Knight & Shining Amor. I'm always here for you. I love you forever and always. Remember that and don't you dare forget it. Last night, we shared a lot of things together. I just want to let you know how I really feel and if you ever feel like I don't love you, tell me, don't feel that way because I actually do love you. I'm in love with you and only you Sofia Aaliyah Anderson. Say I love you mommy," I looked down at Serenity as she reached out to the camera. She opened her little mouth and said, "m-ma- da-da-ma-oooohh." I bucked my eyes and looked back into the camera.

"Can you believe this?? Oh my god, my baby girl spoke. Wait a minute, YOU'RE ONLY FOUR MONTHS!! HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?? is this on camera? I hope I got that on camera. I have to go, I love you Sofia. And so does our baby girl. I kiss you from here," I pucker my lips and kissed the camera. "Bye bye mommy we wooove you soo much."

I turned the camera off and went back downstairs.

"hey Stacy, where is the DJ for tonight?" I asked as she walked passed me.

"He is at the mixing table getting the music tracks down and in order."

"Thanks, I'll talk with you later." I hugged her and walked into the area where this event will take place, the dance studio.

"Hey man,"

"What's up Mike?"

"Listen, can I see what you have so far? I'd like to see where I am going to play a video for my girl."

"No problem man, Okay so first I am going to play She's Out Of My Life, Rockin' Robin, -"

"How many songs are there total?"

"10."

"Okay, go ahead."

"Stop The Love You save, Off The Wall, Then the fifth song will be Another Part Of Me."

"Okay, I want the video to start to play as it reaches the end of this song, After the video is over, what would be the sixth song?"

"Rock With You,"

"Okay, that is perfect, what's after that?"

"Don't Stop Til' You Get Enough, The Way You Make Me Feel, Who's Loving You, and finally I Just Can't Stop Loving You."

"That's perfect, those are the perfect songs for my event today. Thanks man, this is awesome, I'm going to sing a few songs that you have down."

"Okay, which ones?"

"Stop The Love You Save, part of Another Part of Me, Who's Loving You, The Way You Make Me Feel, and I Just Can't Stop Loving You."

"Okay, I got you. Do you want a mic or. .?"

"I'll use a microphone."

"Alright, I'll have everything set up before 5 Mike."

"That'd be great and thank you again for coming out on such short notice, I really appreciate this."

"Oh man, this has been a dream for me, I wouldn't care if you called me at three in the morning, I'd still be here. Thank you for giving me this opportunity."

He hugged me and shook my hand firmly. I smiled at him and placed Serenity on the opposite hip.

My phone vibrated in my back pocket and I knew it was Sofia when I saw that the time read 3:26 p.m. I chuckled as the phone continued to vibrate in my hand.

"She's forever late." I smiled to myself as I answered my phone.

"Hey baby, where are you?"

"Sofia, don't worry. I am at my home with Serenity doing some 'Spring Cleaning' We are fine, how are you?"

"I am fine, I just miss my pumpkin bear a lot. When are you coming back over? Everyone here keeps pampering me, and I don't like it at all."

"What do you mean?"

"Janet took me to get my hair and nails done, Nick keeps asking me if I'm okay and if I need anything, Lisa happily volunteered to do my make-up for no charge and whenever I used to ask her to make me look like myself, she usually would charge me."

"I don't see a problem there babe."

"I didn't wake up to you though. I was really looking forward to waking up to you. When I woke up, I though that everything that happened to me was a dream, and plus today is my 26th birthday."

"Today's your birthday? I totally forgot about that. That's a good reason for them to be pampering you though." I moved the phone away from my ear as I chuckled lightly to myself.

Truth is, I didn't really forget about her birthday. That's why I'm having a Surprise, Surprise party.

"Michael! How could you forget my birthday?"

"Babe, calm down. Are you dressed?"

"No." she said back in a pouting voice.

"Are you pouting Miss Anderson?"

"Yes I am."

"Well stop it. Get dressed and be out of the house by 4:05 p.m. The limo will bring you, Nick, Janet, Lisa, and Emily here to Neverland."

"Michael that's a hour and thirty minute drive, I don't really want to. Why can't you come to me?"

"Because that's an hour and thirty minute drive and I don't want to." I pouted back in the same tone.

"Knock it off Jackson." she warned and I chuckled.

"Alright, call me when you're almost here."

"Okay, Love you sooo much and I'll see you later?"

"Yes you will. Be safe and make sure you buckle up and Emily as well. Matter of fact, make sure all of y'all are buckled up safely."

"Okay Michael. Good bye"

"Excuse you?"

"I said see yah later babe, not goodbye."

"I thought that's what I heard." she giggled and hung up the phone.

Now that the ball is rolling, I just have to have everything in control.

After making sure everything was in place and there were no mix ups, I finally relaxed a bit. It didn't last long because Serenity had started to whimper. I knew why.

I went upstairs to change Serenity's diaper. I sighed in relief once I noticed she didn't poop, God I hate it when she poops. This is why Sofia gets all of the poopy diapers, and if she's not around, I suffer in pain trying to change her.

As I continue to change her, Stacy comes in and taps my shoulder. I turned to look at her.

"Yes?"

"Guest are arriving,"

"What time is it?" I frowned looking for the time.

Has time passed by that fast?

"It is 4:54 p.m."

"Oh gosh, I didn't know it was this late already, has Sofia called or text?"

"Yes she actually did, right before I came to let you know the guest were here."

"What did she say? How far away is she?"

"She just said that she's 36 minutes away and she'll be here in no time."

"Okay, thank god. How is everything downstairs? Is everything ready to go?"

"Yes, it is. There is no need to worry, Mr. Jackson, everything is fine."

"Okay. I am almost done here, I'm going to change into something more. . .appropriate for today. Daddy duties are done, for now." She chuckled and exited the room, closing the door behind her.

As time had ticked away, more guest had arrived, and soon after Sofia and the rest showed.

Sofia looked absolutely stunning. Her white mini dress fit her curves perfectly. I loved it.

"Michael!! What is this?" Sofia spoke happily as I finally walked down the stairs in an all white out fit and red rose attached onto the left side of my tuxedo.

"Happy birthday baby girl. Go chat with your family. I know you haven't seen them in a while." I spoke caressing her cheek, then planting a sweet kiss on her lips then forehead.

"Thank you Michael. This means so much to me." she smiled brightly and kissed Serenity on her forehead.

Janet came by the next second and took Serenity away from me, then headed towards Lisa and took Emily away from her too. I shook my head smiling.

Dunk knows she loves her nieces and nephews.

I walked over to the DJ as he had began to play the first song.

She's Out Of My Life.

I looked at the guest, but my eyes stopped searching when they landed on Sofia. She looked up at me. She had been talking with her friends and cousins when the song had first played.

And to think for two years, she was here and I took it for granted. I was so caviler and now the way that it, stands she's out of my hands.

She slowly walked up to me.

And so I've learned that loves my possession, and I've learned that love won't wait. And now I've learned that love needs expression but I learned too late and she's out of my life. She's out of my life.

Damn in decision and cursive bright. I kept my love her locked deeeep inside and it cuts like a knife. She's out of my lifee

As the song came to an end, everyone watched Sofia and I slowly.

I looked at the DJ and he continued the songs, now playing Rockin' Robin.

I walked to a table and grabbed the crown I had laid down earlier. I walked back over to Sofia and gently and slowly placed it on her hair without breaking eye contact. She has a hump and curls. I like the look on her. It fits her face very well.

Everyone 'awwed' and cooed as she took me by the neck and kissed me.

"I love you too." I spoke reading her eyes. She smiled and wiped the tears that slid down without her knowing.

Everyone got on the dance floor and started dancing. Sofia laughed at the family members as they embarrassed themselves badly. They were not caring at all they just let lose.

Rockin' Robin came to an end and Stop The Love You Save began to play.

Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon, myself, Tito, and Randy were the only ones on the dance floor and began to sing and dance like old times. Just having fun.

My heart melted. I've never seen so many smiling faces all at once. And all of them being family, where everyone was getting along and there were no fights or arguments. It was simply laughter and joy.

Then Off The Wall played. Everyone got on the dance floor, even Joseph and mother. I smiled at my parents and Sofia's parents as they tried dancing like Randy.

And trust me when I say this, it was a sight to see.

You think they were jamming to Off The Wall? Well when Another part Of Me came on, I grabbed the microphone.

"Everyone off of the dance floor now." I spoke with a smile. Everyone complained at my sudden command, but obeyed.

"This song in particular, is for a special someone." I looked over at Sofia fanning herself. I smirked and looked back out to everyone. They were sitting quietly smiling at me as I looked back at the DJ. I gave him a signal and he turned the music all the way up.

I began to dance in my seductively way and looked straight at Sofia. She blushed and covered her smiling face.

I curled my finger motioning for her to come to me. She quickly shook her head no. I smiled and walked over towards her. I pulled her chair in the middle of the dance floor and everyone howled and whistled at us.

I stripped from my jacket and tossed the hat I had on to the side and continued to sing and dance for Sofia.

Talk about being embarrassed?

She was so red.

As the song reached the end, the monitor came down and a video started to play. I pointed back to the screen and everyone began to watch. I kissed Sofia five times on her lips and stood her up. I sat down in the chair and placed her on my lap. I watched as she watched me in the screen talking.

People from here or there would aww, but when the end came, I just knew that would get them. I watched just as that part had begun.

". . .I'm in love with you and only you Sofia Aaliyah Anderson. Say I love you mommy. . .m-ma- da-da-ma-oooohh. . . Can you believe this?? Oh my god, my baby girl spoke. Wait a minute, YOU'RE ONLY FOUR MONTHS!! HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?? is this on camera? I hope I got that on camera. I have to go, I love you Sofia. And so does our baby girl. I kiss you from here, Bye bye mommy we wooove you soo much."

I watched as Sofia slowly turned to look for Serenity. She quickly stood when she found her and walked to where she was. She grabbed here and just stared at her.

"Oh, my little princess said her first words and I wasn't here." I frowned at her.

The music started to play again and Rock With You came on.

No one moved, everyone was staring at Sofia looking at Serenity.

"I can't believe you spoke, and so soon. Mommy's very proud of you, my little munchkin." She smiled at her and kissed her forehead handing her back to her cousin.

I moved the chair from out of the middle of the dance floor and as soon as Sofia came towards me, I picked her up and continued to dance and sing with her.

She smiled and giggly said "put me down, Michael you're embarrassing me."

I let her down and continued to dance, only stopped to go and get myself and Sofia something to drink.

When I got back, Rock With You was over, and soon enough so was Don't Stop Til' You Get Enough.

The Way You Make Me Fell had begun and everyone was singing along.

"HEY PRETTY BABY WITH THE HIGH HEELS ON!!" Everyone shouted over the music.

"You give me fever like I've never ever known! You're just a product of loveliness, I like the groove of your walk your talk your dress!!"

I was about to sing, but I just had to stop. As the camera man pointed the camera into my face, I folded my arms, putting my right hand to my chin and smiled.

"This is incredible. This will be another day I will never forget." I spoke smiling. The camera man filmed the family as they sung the song to it's very last verse.

As the tempo began to play for 'Who's Loving You', and the lights dimmed, I watched as everyone cleared the floor.

They went to their respective seats and sat down, watching me take the microphone from the DJ.

The spotlight shined down on me and the only face I could see was Sofia's.

Only turning my head to watch the DJ, I saw my brothers grabbing mics. I turned my attention back to Sofia

"When I had you, I treated you bad and wrong my dear. And girl since, Since you've been away, don't you know I sit around with my head hangin' down. And I wonder who's lovin' you," I smiled as tears escaped her eyes and my brothers hit every melody as sung when we were younger.

". . .I should have never ever, ever made you cry and girl since, since you've been gone. Don't you know I sit around with my head hangin' down and I wonder who's loving you. Life without love, ha, is oh so lonely. I don't think, I don't think I'm gonna make it. All my life," I slowly walked towards her and stood directly in front of her when I reached her.

I reached my hand out, still singing, and stood her up.

I wiped her tears, while still holding eye contact. She smiled and looked down, only for me to use my index finger and tilt her head up by her chin.

"All I could do, all I could since you been gone is cry, and youu. And don't you wonder in your pretty little head what I'm gone do. Don't you know I sit around with my head hangin' down and I wonder who's. . . lo. . .vin' youu!" I pulled her into a passionate kiss.

I Just Can't Stop Loving You had started. I missed my cue when to start because I was still locked in this blissful kiss with Sofia.

I pulled back from the kiss and looked deep into her eyes. They were droopy, like she had been high.

I slowly walked backwards towards the mixing table, not breaking eye contact.

"Play this lowly, I have some things I need to get off of my chest." I spoke to the DJ. He nodded and as the music was turned on low, I walked to the middle of the dance floor, still staring at Sofia.

I put the microphone to my lips and spoke.

"I don't think I can keep my mouth shut much longer, I mean look at her, she's breathtakingly beautiful." Everyone looked at Sofia and agreed. She blushed and stared back at me after thanking everyone.

I sighed and put my hand in my front pocket. "Baby, there are many ways to be happy in this life, but all I want is you. You see, I know my life will never be complete without you beside me to share it. I've been thinking about all of the times we shared. The good, the bad, even the ones that caused you to cry, and sleepless nights. I thought about the times I hurt you, and you hurt me. And I'm not gone lie to yah, that only made me want you even more."

Everyone laughed and I chuckled a bit too.

"From the time I laid my eyes on you until now, my mind still hasn't changed. I want you. I need you. I remember asking myself 'why do I love her so much?' At the time, I couldn't even sum up as to why I love you, but as the years had passed, months had came and gone turning into weeks, weeks had went by, hours turning into minutes, minutes turning into seconds, seconds ticking down to the last millisecond, I finally knew, and it was simple. I love you because you were you. You understand me and don't judge me. You don't take any crap from anyone, not even when I tried, but failed, to lie to you about not ever loving you. You don't bite your tongue for anyone and you tell it like it is, no sugar coding anything, even though I would love for you to do that, but you don't and I love that about you." Everyone laughed.

"I'm quite nervous up here. I'm beyond nervous, but seeing your pretty little face is making me not as nervous as I was when I first came up here Sofia."

"Come here." I spoke looking back at her.

She laughed and said, "why, so you can embarrass me more?" I chuckled and took her hand saying yes.

"You do love me right?"

"Correction Jackson, I'm in love with you."

"See that?" I spoke to everyone laughing again.

"Do you trust me?" I spoke once everyone quiet down. She looked at me still smiling.

"Yes, of course I do honey."

"Are you afraid of dying?" I got the looks I had expected. I just knew they were gonna look at me that way, but I'm being completely serious right now.

"Of course I am Michael."

"Why?"

"Because I don't want to die alone. It's scary to me."

"Then how about this, how about I hold you protectively in my arms and we die together."

I got down on one knee and finally took my hand out of my pocket, only to pull out a velvet box. I opened the box and showed her the ring.

"Michael, no, . . .you can't--"

"When I think about you, I know that no one else will ever hold my heart the way you do. When I look into your eyes, I can see a reflection of the two of us and the life I hope we'll share. You deserve the very best, someone who will back you up without limits, let you grow without borders, and love you without end. Will you let me be the one? Will you let me protect you, and love you til no end, and care and cherish you? Will you let me be the man to treat you right? Your wish is my forever command. Will you let me make love to you and create seven more little MJs? Most importantly, will you, Sofia Aaliyah Anderson, make me the even more happiest man ever and take my hand in marriage? Will you marry me?"

Gasps came from all over the room. I looked up at Serenity, then back into Sofia's eyes.

"I asked you twice, three times a charm?"

"Michael --"

"Yes baby?"

"I will marry you--"

"Listen baby I know this-- wait what?"

"I said I'll marry you."

And with that being said, I put the ring on her finger and stood up. I picked her up and spun her around.

She said yes. She finally said yes 😘☺️💖💘
