"Hi, can I have the most available flight to Germany?" I asked as I walked up to the front desk at the airport.

"Do you have a ticket ma'am?" The desk clerk asked. I looked down in my arms at my sleeping baby as I spoke.

"No, I don't. This is sort of a last minute thing. I have to leave now."

"I'm sorry ma'am, but you have to have a ticket and a passport with you. I am not allowed to just let you in."

"I know, but please, if you'd just spare me. I don't have much time left. My daughter needs me."

"Is not that your daughter in your arms?" She asked confused.

"She is my daughter, but I'm talking about my niece. She's in Germany with her dad and I need to get her, she's only two years old."

"Ma'am, I am sorry. I just can't give or let you in. Come back with a ticket and passport."

"Alright. Thank you for everything." I walked away and got back into my car.

"I guess we are staying in my apartment house for the first time pumpkin." I spoke to my daughter as I drove off and headed to my apartment I bought a while ago.

"Hey Bella. Do you by any chance know where Sofia is right now?"

"No Michael. Last time I heard from her, she was going to your house to tell you that she will be going away for a while. Why?"

"She indeed came here and told me that. Long story short, she's not here anymore and so as my baby. They're gone. I'm worried."

"Maybe she left to the airport already."

"Isabella, how can she go somewhere with Serenity? Not to mention the fact that she didn't take her diaper bag or carseat. No clothes, no nothing."

"Did you check her house?"

"House?" I asked confused.

When did she buy a house?

"Yeah, she probably won't be there though. The last time she was there was when she first bought it. She decorated it and everything, but she never really stayed the night."

"What's the address? Text it to me. I need to make sure that they are okay."

"Okay."

I hung the phone up and grabbed my car keys and headed out the door. I got into my car and waited until Bella sent me the address. When she did I drove off and was on my way to her house. Her being Sofia.

"Babe, who was that?" LaVelle asked as Bella sent the message to Michael.

"Michael." She sighed.

"What did he want now?"

"He asked if I heard from Fee because she wasn't at his home and so was Serenity. I told him that the last time I had spoken with her was when she left here to go to his house."

"Babe is it wrong to be tired of their mess?" He asked as he sat her down in his lap.

"No, why do you ask?"

"Because I'm tired of their mess. It's getting on my nerves. Michael isn't the problem, it's Sofia."

"Don't go there LaVelle. You don't understand what she's going through."

"And you do? Babe, I'm tired of her always running to us whenever she and Michael don't work out. Did she forget we have a family we have to worry about as well?"

"First off, she's my best friend. That's what best friends are for. Just get away from me. She doesn't have much time left and you treat her this way."

"Doesn't have much time left? What are you talking about?"

"Never mind. I've said to much. I'm going to go and check on Destiny."

As she walked away LaVelle asked again.

"She doesn't have much time left?"

"Cass, we need to tell Michael about Sofia. It's better now than later."

"Avery, don't you think Sofia should tell Michael herself? I mean she may be our best friend, but it's her decision not ours."

"But if we or she don't say something now, who's to blame when it happens? I don't want to see them in pain anymore."

"Sofia is at his home now, so she'll probably tell him. Don't worry about it. We are here to support her."

"I just can't believe these things are happening to her."

"Neither can I. This will definitely slowly kill Michael."

"Sad part about this is Serenity. She won't even get to know her mother when she grows up."

They both sighed and shook their heads.

"I just wished this didn't have to happen to her."

"Same here."

"How could he give that to her? I hope and pray she continues to take her antibiotics." Cass sighed and looked at Avery as she said.

"I hope so too. I don't want to lose her."

I arrived at my home an hour ago. I just put Serenity down about forty minutes ago. I got out of the shower just now, and I'm in my robe, looking for my night gown.

I hear a knock at my door and I immediately grab my baseball bat and walk to the door.

I look through the peephole, with the help of my toes, and see that it's Michael.

How does he know where I am?

How'd he know I even bought this house.

I slowly put the bat down and opened the door.

"Thank god Sofia, you scared me." He said as he hugged me and breath out deeply.

"Baby, why'd you leave the house?"

"I had to go Michael. I still need to go. I need to go and get my niece."

"You're staying by my side baby because I love you. I can send for someone to pick her up if you'd like."

"Thanks. That'd be nice of you."

He walked in and closed the door.

"Where is your room?" He asked

"Upstairs, third door to your left. Why?"

"Come with me." I followed him up the stairs. He peeped his head in all of the rooms and when he stuck his head in Serenity's room, he went in and gave her a kiss on the cheek and told her sweet dreams.

He exited the room and we finally made it to my room. He closed and locked the door.

"Sofia, I want us to work baby. I want you to know that I love you and I won't give up on us."

"How could you do this to me Michael?" I spoke softly. He looked at me confused.

"What?"

"How could you! I won't be able to watch my daughter grow up Michael and it's all your fault!!"

"Won't be able to watch your daughter grow up--babe, what the hell are you talking about?"

"You did this to me Michael!!" I scream as I launched towards him and started punching and scratching him.

"I hate you sooo much Michael!!"

"Baby--ba--Fee--Sof--SOFIA!! Stop it! Stop hitting me!!" He stuttered as I continued to hit him.

"How could something I love so much, hurt me so bad?" I cried out. We fell onto the bed and I straddled his lap (not in a good way though).

"What are you talking about!" He screamed at me and I grabbed his crotch and squeeze it so hard. He tried prying my hands off, but failed because I wouldn't budge.

"Mother," Janet called out as she was in search for her mother.

"Yes Jan?" Katherine spoke when she spotted Janet about to head up the stairs.

"Have you talked with Michael or Sofia?" She asked

"I've talked with Michael, why?"

"And not to Sofia?"

"No, what's wrong? Is there something wrong?"

"Yes, and I know why Sofia is acting this way towards Michael."

"You do?. . . how?"

"The doctors called my cell number in search for Sofia."

"Why?"

"For her appointment."

"Appointment?" Katherine asked as she looked at her daughter confused.

"Yes. . ."

"What for? Did they say?"

"They did and they gave me good and bad news."

"What was the bad news?"

"Sofia, I'm beg you. Please let him go, what did I do?"

I let him go as tears continued to escape my eyes.

"You hurt me Michael. . . not in your normal ways, but in a way that I've never been before."

"What baby?"

"The bad news is: Sofia has sexual transmitted disease (STD)"

"On my god!! What?!"

"Yeah. And I think this is the reason why she is treating Michael like this."

"But how did he get them---"

"Simple mother, he cheated" Janet stated, during her mother off. Katherine held a hand to her heart as the memories of Joseph cheating on her swarmed her brain.

"Michael couldn't have done this-- are youbsure ?"

"Yes mother, but there is good news behind this."

"What?"

"If sofia continues to take her antibiotics, then she can be curer from this within no time. Which means we have to get her tomorrow and take her to get another check-up." Katherine's noded her head and wiped the tears that escaped her lashes.

"I just can't believe Michael would do something like this. Him giving Sofia STD's? No way. Could he have? . . ."

Janet didn't speak a word as she just watch her mother talk to herself. She couldn't believe what was happening. All janet knew was that she had to get the both of them a check-up before it was too late.
