Staring at the black cladded man with wide eyes, Nanael flies up towards the man, narrowing her eyes as she stares observingly into his face, surveying the rest of his body.

" Well, you have the body of Superman, but how do I know you're not a fake like that cyborg?"" Believe me. I really am back." Power Girl looks at the man, saying to him," Well based on my X-Ray vision, everything about you really spells my cousin."

Superman looks at Power Girl," You know, you remind me of Kara, which reminds me, where's Kara?" Power Girl answers," She's gone to save Lena. I think she might be fighting that cyborg as we speak."

" Then we mustn't waste anytime, we better go help her." Rip pulls out his pistol, nodding," I agree. We better leave before those detonators detonates." Power Girl grabs onto Rip, carrying him just as Superman leaps up into the air.

Wait, leap?

Realization dawned on Naneal as she stops right in her tracks, screaming out," Wait wait! Hold on a minute! You can't fly?"

Holding onto the side of the wall, Superman nods," Indeed. Ever since I was gone, I have lost a fraction of my power. I still have my super strength and I can still make high leaps. But I lost my speed and my flight. But I'm not gonna let that stop me!"" That's the spirit! For that..." Nanael reaches down, wrapping her arms around Superman's arms and she lifts him up, declaring out," You're gonna ride on the Nanael express!"

" Really. You shouldn't have Naneal." Superman chuckles, shaking as Naneal stumbles across the air, her big and little wing flapping wildly to keep ahold of the extra weight." Geez Superman! You're even heavier than I thought!" Nanael complains.

At the same time, Green Lantern throws a punch, sending Sinestro crashing into a building.

" Give up Sinestro! Your Yellow Lanterns are failing."" Never!" Sinestro conjures out a construct of a train, sending it ramming towards Green Lantern.

Green Lantern looks up, wiping the blood off his jaws as Sinestro summons a chainsaw construct, growling at him," You have been nothing more than a thorn to my side Jordan."" And speaking of sides..."

Upon hearing a strangely familiar voice, Sinestro's eyes widens in horror as he whispers out," No...it can't be." He turns around his eyes widens in horror as Superman throws a punch across his torso, causing him to let out an agonizing scream.

Using that to his advantage, Green Lantern then unleashes a powerful green energy blast right onto Sinestro, sending him crashing into a building. With his opponent defeated, Green Lantern turns to face the black cladded man and he asks," Wait, aren't you Superman?"" Yes I am Hal."" Man, I wonder who designed your come back to life outfit? You haven't worn that since that time with Doomsday or Toyman." Green Lantern comments.

Hanging onto Power Girl, Rip said to Green Lantern," Yes. It might be nice to talk about his outfit but can we save it until we're under better circumstances?"" Right. Sorry."

With that, Superman, Green Lantern, Power Girl, Nanael and Rip began making their way deeper into the city, ready to take on Cyborg Superman.

Clashing across the city, pieces of metal falls down from the sky as both Supergirl and Cyborg Superman continues exchanging punches, the impact of the blow causes the near by buildings to go off in a mix array of explosions.

Supergirl grabs onto Cyborg Superman, the two wrestles against each other as the cyborg throws her into a nearby engine.

However, Supergirl thrusts her hands back, gripping tightly around the engine before throwing it right at Cyborg Superman. Cyborg Superman's eyes glows red as he launches a powerful blast of heat vision right at it, causing it to go off in a massive explosion.

Right at that moment, Cyborg Superman heard a voice calling out to him," That's enough!" Cyborg Superman turns, his eyes widens as he watches Green Lantern, Power Girl, Nanael, Rip and Superman closes in onto him.

Upon laying eyes on Superman, Cyborg Superman said to him," Looks like you are back Superman."" Wait, Kal?!" Supergirl turns, staring at a black cladded man smiling back at her.

Just as Nanael sets him down onto the roof top of a building, Superman declares out to Cyborg Superman," I may not have my powers back, but there's no way I'm gonna let you destroy the rest of my city!"

" Hold on, if that's the real Superman, then who is that imposter?" Nanael questions, Cyborg Superman lets out a sigh, explaining himself to the Angel," My real name is Hank Henshaw. I was on a ship in a space expedition when a supernova struck onto me, almost killing me. If if wasn't for Lex Luthor, I would be dead. But now..." Cyborg Superman clenches his mechanical hand, concluding his sentence," I am forced to live the rest of my life in the shell of the very thing that killed me!"

" Wait? Kill you? I saved you." Superman insists, only for Cyborg Superman to spit," Save me? Bah! No! You killed me, turned me into this freak of nature! And so, I'm going to turn the entire universe into a universe of machines, starting with your city."

" Normally it would be most inappropriate but I must say like hell you will!" Superman jumps up, rearing back his fist only for Cyborg Superman to duck his head to the side, dodging the blow before saying," Too slow." Cyborg Superman grabs Superman by the back of his shirt before swooping down, slamming him hard in to the metallic floor.

Staring down at the struggling Superman, Cyborg Superman jeers with a mocking tone," Look at you. Once you are powerful, now you can barely stand. You want to take me down? Pathetic!"

" Hey tin can! Don't forget us!" Cyborg Superman turns to look, moving back just as Green Lantern, Power Girl and Nanael swoops down, attacking him in a continuous mix of attacks.

Nanael swings her sabre across his side, only for him to grab her by her dress, tugging her back." Hey! Let go of me you jerk!" Nanael angrily thrashes, struggling to free herself from his grip." You call yourself an Angel? You can't even heal this monstrocity of me!" Cyborg Superman throws a punch, sending Nanael flying back.

Cyborg Superman raises up his arm, conjuring up a shield construct just as Green Lantern swings a chainsaw construct down onto him. Lunging forward, Cyborg Superman slams right into Green Lantern, shattering his construct before striking him square in the chest.

As Green Lantern drops onto the floor, Cyborg Superman raises both his arms up, blocking just as both Supergirl and Power Girl throws a punch and a kick, only for him to thrust his arms out, effortlessly pushing them back.

Supergirl and Power Girl flies forward, the two Kryptonian girls wrestling against the cyborg while Rip runs around them, pointing his pistol as he opens fire at every opening he gets on Cyborg Superman.

Cyborg Superman thrusts his hand out, sending a blast of energy right into Rip, sending him flying.

" Rip!" Using both the Kryptonian girls distraction to his advantage, Cyborg Superman swings his arm out, sending Supergirl stumbling with a slap and striking Power Girl in the stomach with a strong back kick.

Superman jumps up, wrapping his arms around Cyborg Superman's neck in an arm lock, only for the cyborg to grab him, throwing him over his shoulder. Cyborg Superman kneels down on top of Superman, throwing several hard punches over the Kryptonian.

Though he is still not yet back in full strength, the exposure towards the sun began causing Superman to feel a sense of his original power returning. Using that to his advantage, Superman swings his hand out, pushing Cyborg Superman's hand to the side before thrusting his head out, striking him hard in the forehead.

As Cyborg Superman staggers back, Superman pushes himself up, rushing forward and throwing several hard punches across his face.

Just as Superman rushes forward, Cyborg Superman jumps up, grabbing onto him before throwing him up into a nearby generator.

With Cyborg Superman engrossed with Superman, Supergirl turns to look, noticing something on the floor. There lies an Amulet. The Zembesi Amulet.

" Wait. That's it." Grabbing onto the amulet, Supergirl reaches towards Rip, asking him," Rip. Please. Tell me you know how to use that thing."" I'm sorry. I don't." Hearing the loud explosions from the distance, Supergirl begs the Time Master desperately," Please Rip. Unless Kal gets his powers back, he's gonna kill him!"

Rip thoughts for a while and at that moment, a thought dawns in his mind." That's it." Reaching into his coat pocket, Rip pulls out a small blue colored rock, showing it to her, saying," I have been keeping this. Might be a good time to use it now."

" Wait. Is that blue kryptonite?" Rip nods." Yes. Knowing of the creature named Bizzaro. I can safely assume that if that thing weakens Bizzaro, it should definitely help empower your cousin." But we will need to get it close to him."

Supergirl cracks her knuckles, saying," Not a problem." Flanked by Green Lantern, Power Girl and Nanael, Supergirl flies towards Cyborg Superman.

Tossing aside the injured Superman, Cyborg Superman raise up his arms, preparing to take on his numerous enemies.

While Cyborg Superman is locked in battle with Supergirl, Power Girl and Green Lantern, Rip points his pistol upwards, aiming it at Superman. Nanael closes in onto Superman, dropping the Blue Kryptonite onto his chest." Here take it. That Rip guy asks us to drop it on you."

Pressing his fingers right into the trigger, Rip could feel his heart stop momentarily as the blaster bolt flies across the sky, moving through the movements of the combatants before striking right into the tip of the Kryptonite, causing it to shatter into several tiny shards.

Superman shuts his eyes, feeling a rather familiar and yet empowering feeling engulfing him as his entire body glows bright blue. The bright light causes Cyborg Superman to halt in his tracks, stopping momentarily to look at Superman," Wait. What sorcery is this?"

As the blue light slowly dims, a long red cape flows all the way down towards the level of the knee, the black garb changes into a rather bright mixture of red, yellow and blue. The hair switches from long and messy to short and nest.

But what caught everyone's attention is the symbol, a familiar "S" shaped symbol shone brightly over the sunlight, gleaming a bright shine of hope. The symbol of Hope. The symbol of Superman.

Superman has returned!

Happy to lay her eyes on the familiar figure in blue, Nanael lets out a loud happy cheer," Alright!"" Now that's the Superman I remember!" Green Lantern pipes.

The sight of her cousin's presence immediately overwhelms both Supergirl and Power Girl with a mixture of relief, happiness and hope, causing Power Girl to look at Cyborg Superman, saying to him," You're so screwed now."

" No! No!" Not willing to concede defeat, Cyborg Superman lunges forward, striking onto Superman. However, to his horror, not only did his punches barely fazes Superman, but the Man of Steel simply stares at him, not a least bit hurt by the attack.

Superman then clenches his fist before throwing a powerful uppercut, sending Cyborg Superman flying with a single strike. The single impact of the blow immediately causes shards of metal to shatter across his face, damaging the cyborg's face plate.

" This is for you have done to my friends!" Superman throws another powerful punch, sending Cyborg Superman flying. Superman speds forward, catching Cyborg Superman by the face following with a single throw, sending him flying straight towards Supergirl.

One by one, each of the nearby combatants began their onslaught on the now weakened cyborg, first with Rip opening fire onto his back, then with Nanael slashing her blade across his neck, sending pieces of nuts and bolts spilling. Power Girl throws a kick onto his side before Green Lantern fires a powerful blast of green energy from his ring, the impact of the blast damaging his armor.

Cyborg Superman staggers back, struggling to recover from the blows. Using his injuries as an opportunity, both Supergirl and Superman lunges forward, the two Kryptonians attacked by throwing a flurry of punches across the cyborg's face, sending shards of metal fragments raining onto the floor. Superman then throws one powerful uppercut, sending Cyborg Superman crashing backfirst into the city's core.

As Cyborg Superman struggles to rise, Superman looks down at him, saying," It's over Henshaw. Your plans ends here."" No. It's only over when you are dead!" Before Cyborg Superman could even attack, Superman's eyes glows bright red as he unleashes a powerful blast of Heat Vision right at him.

Cyborg Superman's eyes widens in sheer agony as he felt the blazing hot Heat Vision burns through his armor, flying straight towards the detonators. Realizing what is going to happen, Rip urges the group," Um, I suggest we leave now."

Without needing to be told twice, the group quickly leaps up just as the Heat Vision struck onto the detonators, the heat immediately triggers them to go off into an explosion. Cyborg Superman's eyes widens in agony, a loud bloodcurling scream escapes from his severely damaged mouth as he felt his entire metallic body incinerating, tearing apart into nothingness.

Entrance

Back at the entrance, Wonder Woman swings her sword down, slicing a Yellow Lantern into half while Green Arrow fires an arrow, instantly taking down a Techno-sentient.

At that moment, a loud explosion booms across the core of the city, causing everything around them to shake. Zatanna looks around, questioning out," What's going on?"

Batman looks up and he smiles," Him. That's what's going on."

The Justice League immediately erupts in a mass of cheers and applauses as Superman lowers himself down, smiling at his comrades. As the horde of techno-sentients began detonating around them, the remaining Yellow Lanterns quickly takes off into the air, fleeing from the city.

Carrying an injured and unconscious Sinestro, Green Lantern stops next to Superman, watching as Wonder Woman wraps her arms around Superman, happily declaring out," Clark! Oh I'm so glad you're back."" Aye. I'll be." Lobo pipes, tossing aside his cigarette.

Looking around, Kuasa simply stood at the side when Rip approaches her, saying," Here." Kuasa looks, staring just as Rip hands her the Amulet." I believe this belongs to you." While Kuasa slips the amulet back into her sash, Rip then offers," If you want, you can hitch a ride on the Waverider, I'm sure Gideon would be happy to bring you back to your timeline."

Kuasa smiles, accepting his offer," Thank you. I would very much like that."

At the same time, Flash asks Superman," So Clark, where did Steppenwulf send you to?" Superman shrugs," Ah. Nowhere. But nothing beats being up and alive again!"" You can say that." Superman and Nowa laughs as they gave each other a high five.

Just then, Green Lantern notices something is off and he looks around, asking," So uh? Where's Supergirl."

" Oh, just tending to her business. A Luthor business." Power Girl answers.

Floating over the ruins of what was once Engine City, Supergirl carries Lena in her arms, smiling down at the young woman. Looking around in awe, Lena asks Supergirl," I don't believe it. Is it really over?"

Supergirl nods, prompting Lena to laugh out, giving her friend a tight embrace.

Once again, the City of Metropolis is safe!
