" Alright. It should be around here."

Jubei says out as she stares at the map.

Batwoman looks around and she sighs.

" Still no sign of anyone from my world."

Nowa then questions Batwoman.

" Um Miss Batwoman? May I ask you a question?"

" Yes, go ahead."

" Are you dating Mr. Batman?"

" Nowa! Why are you asking such personal questions?!"

Alleyne reprimands her student.

" Wahh! Sorry Captain!"

Nowa apologizes purposely to Alleyne.

Batwoman answers.

" It's alright. And to answer your question Nowa, I'm not dating anyone. I'm already engaged"

Jubei turns around and she questions.

" So who are you engaged to?"

Batwoman anwers.

" There is someone special, and she's waiting for me at home."

" She?"

Alleyne, Nowa and Jubei questions out.

Batwoman nods and she continues.

" That's right. Recently married Renee not long ago."

" Renee? Hold on a sec...."

Jubei pauses before she continues.

"....are you a lesbian?"

Batwoman silently nods and Jubei's jaws dropped.

" Oh.....my.....god....."

" Look, I know it sounds queer and everyhing..."

" Are you kidding me? It's not a bad thing at all!"

Batwoman widens her eyes as Jubei explains.

" In my world, you do not ever have to hide who you are. Just be yourself, it's all that matters."

Batwoman smiles as she listens to what Jubei says.

" Thank you Jubei."

Just as Jubei nods, all of a sudden, they heard a scream from behind.

" AAAHHHHHHH!!!"

Alarmed, everyone spun around and Nowa questions.

" What was that?"

" I'm not sure. Let's go find out."

Alleyne suggests.

The foursome sprints forward, running towards the source of the sound.

As they pushed past the bush, what they saw causes their eyes to widen in horror.

" HHHEEEELLPPPP!!!"

Cute screams out in terror just as several Betas chases after her.

At the same time, Batgirl ducks underneath, narrowingly dodging a blast of laser from another Beta.

Meanwhile, Jean sprints forward, shouting out.

" Hang on Mistress! I'm coming!"

However, a Beta swings it's arm back, striking Jean down.

Nightwing and Batgirl stood back to back against each other, the two surrounded by Betas.

" Any ideas?"

Nightwing questions.

Batgirl shook her head, causing Nightwing to curse out.

" Shit! We're dead."

However, right at that moment.....

" Stop!"

" Jubei!"

The Betas spun around, only to find Jubei standing outside of the bush.

Jubei walks towards the Betas and she objects.

" You cannot kill them."

" Why?"

One of the Betas questions.

Jubei scratches her head and she thought to herself, stuttering as she tries to think of a solution

" Because....in my land.....if you want to kill.....someone.....you have to....."

Just then, Jubei notices a bat on the floor and an idea struck her.

" Play baseball!"

" Baseball?"

Everyone questions out in both shock and confusion.

" Y...yeah. If we lose, you can do anything you want but if we win you....gotta leave forever."

" Baseball?"

The Betas stares at each other, nearly causing Jubei's heart to stop from the tension.

One of the Betas looks at her and to her relief, it said.

" Very well, we accept your challenge."

Nightwing looks just as Batgirl remarks.

" Well, the baseball game of life and death. Well, it was nice knowing you Dick."

" Yeah. Nice knowing you Babs."

" Not helping you two!"

Cute shouts at the two of them.

Batwoman looks at Jubei and she questions.

" Jubei, are you sure you know what you are doing?"

" Trust me, my knowledge is gonna help us win this."

Later

A few minutes later, everyone stood around, now cladded in baseball uniforms.

Jubei loudly announces.

" We're the humans, Jubei."

" Batwoman."

" Nightwing."

" Batgirl."

" Cute."

" Jean."

" Alleyne."

" And Nowa."

Obe of the Betas said.

" Understood. We are the Betas. Consisting of Beta 134677.

" Beta 222345."

" Beta 997685."

" Beta 519800."

" Beta 434446."

" Beta 652907."

" Beta 109643."

" And Beta 697301."

" Here are the rules. Each of us will take turns to hit the ball. Three strikes and you're out. If the ball gets caught, you're out. If you get tagged, you're out. And after three hits, we switch sides."

With that, the game commences.

The first Beta threw the ball right across the air, causing Jubei to swing her bat forward.

The ball was sent flying upwards and Jubei began running across the bases.

One of the Betas launches itself upwards, grabbing onto the ball.

However, Jubei's foot has already touched the home base, thus rendering her safe.

As Jubei sat down, Nowa picks up the bat, preparing to swing.

Just as the Beta throws the ball, Nowa swung her bat, striking right into the ball.

However, right at that moment, a Beta flies up and it catches the ball up in midair, declaring out.

" You're out!"

" Whhaattt!"

Nowa pouts out, annoyed.

After several minutes of playing, one of the Betas screams out in annoyance.

" Enough! We shall not be part of this little game anymore!"

Nightwing sighs and he said.

" Fine then."

Without warning, Nightwing whips out his baton and he spun it around before throwing it right across, striking right into a Beta's head.

" Let's settle this the good ol'fashion way."

The Betas points their arms cannon forward, opening fire just as the group lunges forward.

Cattleya's house

Superman looks around the house, wide eye as he stares at the people in the building.

" Man, how in the world is this house able to fit everyone?"

" I'm....not sure."

Cattleya admits.

Catwoman smiles just as Poison Ivy and Harley closes in onto her, saying.

" Well well, nice to see some familiar faces after all this time."

" It's good to see you too kitty."

Harley agrees.

Just then, Batman's comn began beeping out, causing him to tap on it.

" This is Batman."

" Bruce, good news, we found Nightwing and Batgirl."

Batwoman's voice booms across the comn.

Upon hearing their names, Batman widens his eyes in shock and he questions further.

" Dick and Babara. Are they alright?"

" They're fine. We just took down some of Brainiac's Betas."

" Brainiac's Betas?"

Both Superman and Batman looks at each other, sharing a look of concern.

Batman picks up the comn and he instructs out.

" Alright Kate, bring everyone back at once."

" Copy that Bruce."

As the line went dead, Superman ponders and he said to Batman.

" Brainiac. So that explains how we got here."

" Excuse me but who is this Brainiac?"

Leina questions.

Batman said.

" We'll talk more later. Right now, we still have Black Manta's group missing."

" I wonder where they are?"

Superman questions.
