Ashden's POV:
Since I discovered Aurora's ability it's been a good four years and she has gotten better.

"Come on Little wolf higher. Aim for the target."

She still struggles from time to time she can take the fire but she can't make it on her own but if what the prophecy says is true that there will be a time when her power will flow through her all on its own.

"Alright that's enough for today."

I haven't seen Erik since that day by the stream I see a hawk from time to time but I've never seen him in person I'm not even sure if the hawk is him.

"Dark Night can we go home know?"

By home Aurora meant the cave in the mountains I know it was only supposed to be temporary but over the last four years Aurora has referred to it as home.

"Alright you go ahead I'll catch up."

I started removing any trace of Aurora's power if Erik could find me then I can only image who else can find us. I am worried about Maleficent, she hasn't tried anything yet and there must be a reason.

I shook away the thought as I started to head back I didn't need those thoughts on my mind with Aurora being around I have to keep my cool.

"Little wolf where are you?"

The cave was empty and the fire was out. I caught a familiar scent along with Aurora's and my whole body tensed up.

"Looking for your little friend, nobilis bestia."

I span round to see Kanitro my other brother. His hand was around Aurora's throat and the other held his sword.

"Kanitro let her go right now!"

I spat I knew we weren't safe here. I just knew Maleficent was too quiet and know Kanitro has a knife to Aurora.

"One move and I slice this pretty flower into pieces."

My blood was boiling and my temper was threw the roof. What I wouldn't give to snap his neck right now. But I can't not with Aurora here.

"Let her go she has no part in this. Your problem is with me!"

Kanitro is not my full brother he's my half brother. He has nothing to do with me and that is why I pity him. If my other brother started to act like this I'd give him what for but Maleficent doesn't care.

"She has everything to do with it Ashden she the reason for this!"

He wiped the side of his face and there was a huge scar right across his face. Like I said Kanitro is my half brother and looking at his face made me want to kill Maleficent.

"Kanitro, brother stop this I'll help you but it's time to stop now."

I said softly this time he's still my half brother and he needs me even if he does try to kill me.

"I..I don't want to do this Ash."

I stepped towards him and he let go of Aurora. I pulled him into my chest as he dropped the knife and cried.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry Ashden."

I hushed him as he continued to hug me. I felt something cold against my skin.

"Kanitro don't do this."

I felt something go in and I pushed Kanitro away.

"I'm sorry Ashden..I..I had to..I had to do it."

I placed my hand of over my side and turned to Aurora. I grabbed a hold of her hand and started running out the cave. I changed into a Griffen and carried her away.

"Dark Night are you okay?"

I ignored her as I continued to fly. The pain was becoming unbearable but I had to get us as far away from Kanitro as possible.

I felt my vision going blurry and I began to change back leaving Aurora and myself falling to the ground we were thirty feet up and falling.

Aurora's POV:
"Ashden wake up! Ashden!"

We were falling and I tried to spark my powers I had to do something because if the fall doesn't kill us Ashden's brother will finish us off.

I tried to focus but I couldn't. The ground was getting closer and closer. Ashden was completely out of it, she wouldn't wake up.

"Come on Aurora what would Ashden do, what would she say. Think, think. Arh this is hopeless, why am I talking to myself."

Think come on brain weren't you paying attention to what Ashden was telling us. Think what would she say.

Okay step one take a deep breath.
Step two clear your mind.
Step three see what you want to do.
Step four open your mind.
Step five believe.

I held out my hand and closed my eyes please work.

When I opened my eyes Ashden and I were floating in the air. Yes I did it. We slowly floated down to the ground and I shook Ashden.

"Ashden wake up, I did it. I saved us."

Ashden let out a groan as she slowly opened her eyes. When she finally looked at me she gave me a small smile.

"Show me Little Wolf. Try and heal my wound. Go on you can do it."

I tried going through the same mentions as before and it didn't work.

"It's okay Little Wolf you'll get there."

I watched as Ashden took her hand and placed it over her wound and I saw a light flow over it. When she moved her hand she was completely healed.

"See just takes practice. Now let's setup camp here for the time being."

With a flick of her wrist a huge tent appeared I wish I could do that as quick and easy as she does.

"Time, that's all it is Little Wolf in time you'll get it."

How the hell does she do that? She always knows what I'm thinking. I helped her get off the floor and as we started to walk to the tent a letter fell in front of Ashden with a old red stamp across it.

Ashden's eyes went cold as she saw it and then removed the seal before reading the letter to herself.
