Chapter Five: Power And Beauty

Ashden's POV:
I've missed being home, seeing my brother and even Arden. Even if she drives me crazy.

But some memories are too great.

They hurt too much, they have kept me away. Of course no one knows how hard those memories are for me. That they are the reason why I stayed away, they think it was my job but that's the truth.

The memories in this house are just too much to bare.

"Noble Ashden back again."

I couldn't help rolling my eyes and let out a small chuckle as Asha brought me back to reality.

"I've missed you too little brother."

I teased with a smirk making him rolled his eyes. God I have missed my brother.

"I'm not your little brother were twins!"

He spat before Arden jumped on his back wrapping her arms around his neck with a huge smile on her face.

I have to say it's nice to see things will never change with them. They'll always be thick as thieves, my family.

I looked away as Asha started to fight Arden to get her off to see Aurora. She looked more confused then anything, but not only that I remembered how Asha had spoken to her.

"Arden get off your brother, now Asha I love you but I raised you better apologise to Aurora please."

Yes I raised this pair of hooligans, both Asha and Arden. Make no mistake I did and believe me it was harder for them then it was me.

"I'm sorry little one, my sister taught me how you should treat women."

I couldn't help but let out a small smile as Asha and Aurora shook hands. This is how I raised him. After awhile I got lost in space staring at my brother and Aurora.

Arden gentle nudged me before smiling, bringing me back to the moment. I began to realize that everything was getting too lovey dovey for me.

"Well I'll leave you two to train with Aurora."

Asha's POV:
I watched as Ashden walked off and my small smile dropped.

I hate it when she does this whenever there is a nice happy moment she always slips away. Don't get me wrong I'm not the guy that likes all the lovey dovey either but Ashden is different.

She can't be in the same room with all that stuff for long whereas I can put on a smile and get on with it.

I turned to look back at Arden and Aurora, Arden's whole body had dropped.

She misses Ashden so much, she's been mopping around since Ashden left. Aurora gave me a smile but I could see under it all she was confused.

"Right well, come on little one. I guess Arden and I should teach you a few things."

When it comes to feeling Ashden has a great level of self-control, it's extremely good. Too good, it's one of those things I dislike most about my sister.

"Okay little one let's start with what Ashden taught yah."

Aurora gave Arden and I a face that said not much or that she couldn't tell us. I sighed and jumped down off the landing onto the training room floor.

Arden sat on the banister and Aurora looked up at me as she sat on the stairs with a curious face.

"Ok little one, Ashden might not have taught you much but by the time Arden and I are through you'll be ready. Now I want you to watch my every move. Got it."

She nodded and I started up the machines. Ashden designed this thing when she was teaching us.

I had done this everyday since Ashden left this is the only thing that reminded me of her, I missed her so much when she left. Arden would cry most of the time and I was just angry.

I would break things and punch through things. I would upset Arden by taking my temper out on her, I was just horrible in general.

"Asha move!"

Ashden's POV:
When I left earlier I went straight to my room. It was exactly the same well apart from my bed looked like it had been slept in. Asha's scent was all around but then again their was traces of Arden's too.

I heard screaming from the training room and raced down.

Asha was on the floor and Aurora was using her powers to hold up one of the training objects stopping it from crushing Asha.

"Arden get Asha now!"

I raced over and used my powers to hold the object up because Aurora couldn't take the strain.

Once all three were upstairs on the landing I dropped the object and it hit the floor with a bang. I took a deep breath before stopping the training session and making my way up stairs.

Arden had Asha's head on her lap and Aurora was frozen on the spot. I knelt down beside Asha and Arden.

"Arden what happened Deliciae?"

I knew I had to take this delicately, Arden had tears rolling down her face and Aurora looked petrified.

"Asha, he..he was doing the course like always when he started to loose focus then..then the..the beams came down and he wasn't ready. I..I tried to get him to move but it was too late."

I hushed her and wiped her tears, Arden always seemed tough but that was just the act she put up she was too kind underneath it all.

"Ard you crying?"

We both looked down to see Asha's eyes were wide open and he had a small smile on his face.

"You were right about that one Ashden power and beauty becomes her well. Don't think I didn't see you before I lost consciousness little one, Ashden's taught you well."

I rolled my eyes and shuck my head before helping Asha up.

"I thought I lost you Ash."

Arden whispered hugging Asha and he returned the hug. I think I should leave more often if they end up hugging usually Asha would push her off.

"You can never lose me Deliciae."

I looked over at Aurora, Asha was right power and beauty becomes her but that means her training needs to be harder because if her beauty is growing so will her power.
