Annabelle finished the meeting with one of the representatives of the men's council. The men's council supports Annabelle as a ruler, even though she once illegally escaped to Etria.

Nevertheless, they couldn't throw her to jail since she was the only person who could represent the Blue Topaz family.

Now it's was time to have a meeting with the ministers. Since the scheduled court meeting is a month away she could only have a meeting with ministers and let ministers revote. So Annabelle decided to meet with the ministers and let Nathaniel and Alexander join the meeting so we could discuss the agreement with the Siada Kingdom for the last time since the Siada Kingdom is already accepted our agreement.

I walked to my room to rest for a bit before going to the meeting.

Nathaniel's and Alexander's sense of smell is pretty good. They can always easily find me or Angelina when she likes to escape from Nathaniel's grasp.

"Thinking of canceling the meeting?" Alexander asked me in amusement since I looked tired.

"No, I still need to let at least ministers decide about the agreement." I told Alexander.

"The meeting wasn't necessary. You could easily follow the agreement without the court's or minister's agreement." Nathaniel told me.

"You know as a new ruler I couldn't afford to have my power to be unstable." I told Nathaniel then I continued.

"I also started thinking that it's might be a bad idea." I sighed.

"A bad idea? Creating commercial ties with the Siada Kingdom is very beneficial for Ravendale. If you manage successfully befriend with the King of Siada kingdom this will not only improve Ravendale's economy, Your success will be documented in Ravendale's and Siada's kingdom textbooks." before Nathaniel could continue I interrupted.

"Yes, but at what risk Nathaniel? Rebellion? War?" I asked Nathaniel. He only smiled and sat down next to me and took my hand and Alexander did the same.

"I know that you are worried about making this decision, but with great success comes great risk, this is what we've learned being a business owners." Alexander said and I took a deep breath.

Ruling a Ravendale is essentially like owning a business but the thing is that my husbands are more experienced at managing the business, while I'm only a beginner. I'm glad that I have my husbands to guide me.

"How much left till the start of the meeting?" I asked Alexander.

"A minute left before the start of the meeting." Alexander answered and I took a deep breath to concentrate my mind.

During the meeting there are not only ministers will be present but also there will be witnesses present also. Witnesses are the people who set up the appointment on the day of the minister's meeting. Currently, there will be two people as witnesses it helps the court relax that there are more people involved in decision making.

If the plan of the building relationship with the Siada Kingdom goes well, my power will be more established.

When we entered one of the conference rooms in the palace there were already ministers waiting for us along with two witnesses. One is representative of the men's council and another is a Duchess Gabrielle from the House of Fluorite the governor of the Snow Biome dominion.Ravendale has a lot of dominions that have their own culture, traditions, and rules. They are under the protection of the Ravendale since dominions are too small to operate on their own. 

This way I'm not only protecting Ravendale's magical secrets, but I also protect the magical secrets of other dominions.

There are only a few dominions other than Snow Biome, there are dominions such as Bee Dominion, Dragon dominion which mountains that are populated with the priestesses are part of that dominion and there is also Fae dominion.

Snow Biome dominion is populated with werecats who can withstand cold temperatures and dragons. Snow Biome is known to produce warriors that are experts in martial arts. Snow Biome has a tradition to fight off the potential husbands or fight for a potential husband, which that is tradition makes more interesting.

The ministers and the witnesses bowed their heads.

"I'm glad all of the ministers are present today and I'm thankful for the witnesses that agreed to join the meeting." I welcomed. In the court meeting, there were only 2 ministers present and it's was amusing for me to see that in today's meeting all of the ministers are suddenly present.

"I guess we will start straight to the point and discuss the decision that is everyone worried about." said Nathaniel.

"That Ravendale will build commercial ties with the Siada Kingdom." finished Alexander.

Mostly Ministers were women but some men accomplished a lot to get to that rank.

" I don't think it's a good idea to build commercial ties with the Siada Kingdom, we have different extremely different values. First will be building commercial ties, then they will ask for a marriage alliance and then they will want to merge territories." The Minister of Finances said and all the ministers nodded in agreement.

"Don't want you to offend you but I think you are overreacting a little bit." Nathaniel said. The ministers couldn't talk back since he is the Prince Consort.

"Besides it's will take a long time to build friendship and trust to the point of asking marriage alliance." Nathaniel then explained.

"But the question remains the same. How will the citizens of Ravendale react to this?" The Minister of public affairs questioned.

"You know it's will be our loss if we decline their friendship." Duchess Gabrielle from the House of Fluorite said.

"And why is that?" The Minister of public affairs asked the Duchess condescendingly.

Duchess Gabrielle rolled her eyes at the Minister of public affairs and started explaining.

"A very long time ago before World War Three, there was a leader of the powerful country I think back then people called him president. He easily befriended with countries that had different values. Other countries looked down at countries with different values and often seek wars. Those nations accused this president of making bad decisions for his people, that he supports the restriction of human rights. In the end, he remained the most powerful leader until his death. He believed that he has no right to change the other country's value but it's the right of the people to change their country's value."

"Now the question is, why Ravendale couldn't be that powerful country?" After explaining Duchess asked the ministers who were disagreeing with the idea.

"Duchess Gabrielle has a good point. Besides the Siada Kingdom has accepted our agreement, it wouldn't be good for us if we back out from the agreement. Furthermore, it's wouldn't hurt to try to build a friendship with the Siada Kingdom." I said.

None of the ministers couldn't think of the argument.

"So I guess that concludes the meeting." I said.

After the minister's meeting, I had a private meeting with the Duchess Gabrielle of the House of Fluorite.

I walked with the Duchess to the study room and gestured to sit on the chair. Then I also sat down at my chair.

"Is there anything you want to discuss? I have looked at the Snow Biome's finances and performance and I don't have any complaints about now." I asked the Duchess.

The Duchess had blonde hair and blue eyes. Her facial features looked familiar somehow.

"Ah yes, I wanted to talk about-" before the Duchess could finish. Elizabeth entered the room and ran up to me with her ears and tail out of the excitement.

"Mother, I got excellent results in all of my subjects" She showed her report card to me. I knew I couldn't be mad at her for interrupting the meeting since she only wanted to share her results.

I apologized to the Duchess.

"It's alright!" The Duchess answered politely but she had an indescribable look when she was looked at Elizabeth.

"Now first of all Elizabeth hide you ears and tails." I gently told her and she complied and I looked at her report card.

"You worked hard for it and I'm very proud of you. I will talk with your fathers to decide how to reward you." I praised her and hugged her as she hugged me back.

"Alright, mother." Elizabeth answered.

"Now I think you should go show results to your fathers and if they are busy just wait outside for me and then we will show your results to your fathers. They will be happy to see your results." I said to Elizabeth and she nodded. Elizabeth listened to me and left the study room to search for her fathers.

"Your daughter is a snow leopard?" Duchess Gabrielle asked me. She still had an indescribable expression.

"Yes, she is." I answered.

"It's would be very beneficial to start martial art training from the early on." Duchess Gabrielle advised. Her words made sense since most of the snow leopard live in the Snow Biome dominion. It's indeed would be very beneficial if Elizabeth will travel to Snow Biome to find her true parents.

Then we continued talking about the new project in Snow Biome.
