"Hello, Henrik" Claire smiles at her mate walking up to him in his room. He instantly turns towards her and smiles. The stress and worries of the day seem to fade away quickly as he circles his arms around her.

"How's your day been, Angel?" He asks kissing her forehead.

"Oddly silent" She tells him looking at with curious eyes. He inwardly tenses but gives her a smile.

"Is that a bad thing?" He asks caressing her cheek hoping to distract her with his touch. It almost worked. She turns her head into his hand and kisses his palm lightly before grabbing it and lowering it back to his side.

"It wouldn't be if we were a normal family, but we're not, are we?" She asks tilting her head. "Klaus has been avoiding me, same goes for Elijah. Even you seem to be distant. The only ones acting normal are Kol and Finn. Something's up"

"Nothing is wrong, love" He lies to her hesitantly. She raises an eyebrow at him. He tries not to squirm in his spot. "We're been dealing with so much trouble and drama recently that when presented with an easy, relaxed day, you immediately think something is wrong"

"That's because I know you, love" She says patting his cheek lightly. "And I know your brothers. There is nothing normal about our family so when things happen to turn out normal, I know something is up and I know you are keeping something from me"

"Why can't you just take the normal, relaxed day?" He pleads.

"Because we don't keep secrets" She tells him. "Henrik, we're going to be married eventually, we don't hide things from each other."

"We're just trying to protect you" He whispers.

"Lying to me isn't protecting me it's just pissing me off" She tells him. Henrik presses his lips together and looks even more uncomfortable. "Just tell me what's going on" She whispers rubbing his chest sensually.

"Someone is killing vampires, it's a witch dealing with dark magic" Elijah admits from behind her. She turns away from Henrik and faces him. While Henrik felt relieved to not have her stare on him he looked at Elijah confused. 

"And why couldn't I know that?" Claire asks confused.

"Because this witch is copying a symbol we haven't seen in a very long time. A symbol that belonged to a very dangerous man and we didn't want you near that" Elijah tells her.

"So, you keep it from me?" Claire asks softly.

"Klaus didn't want to risk you going out on your own with this copycat running around." Elijah explained. Claire slowly nods in realization.

"He doesn't trust me" She whispers. "Not that I exactly blame him"

"Don't be upset with him, Elskan" Elijah pleads walking closer to her. "He just wants to keep you safe, keep you both safe" He said his fingers grazing her swollen stomach.

"I know" Claire whispers. "I promise you, Elijah, I won't get involved" She tells him.

"I trust you but I do need your help with something" Elijah says. She frowns her eyebrows. "Rebekah is not answering her calls, neither is Asher"

"Have you talked to Archie?" Claire asks.

"I can't find him nor Kaleb" Elijah responded. "I was hoping you had heard from either of them"

"I haven't" Claire shakes her head worriedly. "You think whoever this copycat is has something to do with it?"

"I don't know" He answers.

"Claire, Asher's out front" Penelope said suddenly appearing in the doorway. "He's not looking well" Claire walks around Elijah and quickly follows Penelope to their brother.

"Asher" Claire whispers kneeling beside him. From the time it took Penelope to get Claire and return he had collapsed on the ground. "Find Archie, get him here" She orders Penelope.

"I know where he is" Penelope said darting away with Kai right behind her.

"Asher, what's going on?" Claire asks bringing his attention towards her. His skin was unnaturally pale with a grey tint, even his eyes seemed dull.

"Rebekah" He whispers tiredly. Elijah kneels beside him.

"Whatever is happening isn't happening to him, it's her" Elijah tells Claire.

"What could cause this?" Claire asks worriedly.

"I don't know" Elijah shakes his head. "Asher, where's Rebekah? What happened?"

"Tunde..." He whispers looking at Elijah. "Papa.... Tunde"

"Papa Tunde? Who is that?" Claire asks looking at Elijah who's tense.

"Impossible" Elijah whispers. "Asher, where?"

"The docks" Asher breathes. "Warehouse.... 57"

"We'll find her" Elijah reassures him. "Henrik, get him inside. The only thing we can do is make him comfortable. You might be able to find some type of spell to help but the only way he'll become healthy again is when we get Rebekah back and cure her of whatever if happening"

"Asher!" Archie shouts racing to his brother. Elijah moves out of his way and Claire follows him.

"What are you going to do?" Claire asks.

"I'm going to try and find Rebekah" Elijah tells him.

"Elijah, whatever... Whoever took her is powerful. Powerful enough to do whatever they're doing to her, to you" Claire says worriedly.

"I'll be fine" He promises caressing her cheek.

"Don't go alone, please" She whispers grabbing his hands. "We're already trying to get Rebekah back, I don't want to have to worry about rescuing you as well"

"Alright" Elijah nods kissing her forehead. "I'll take Henrik"

"Take Kol" Claire says. "Kol won't hesitate to do what needs to be done, he's stronger and faster. Henrik is still getting used to having no magic and being a vampire"

"Alright" Elijah nods.

"I heard my name" Kol says appearing beside them. "Are we going on a road trip brother?" Kol smirks patting his back. Elijah gives him a look.

"We're doing this my way" Elijah says sternly. Kol smirks and gives him a mock salute.

"Be careful, both of you" She says.

"Don't worry, Angel, we'll be back before you know it" Kol winks kissing her cheek before leaving with Elijah.

"Come on, let's go back inside" Henrik says grabbing her hand. 

"Where's Asher?" Claire asks him.

"I took him to his room. Archie and Kaleb are with him right now" Henrik says. "I'm sorry for lying"

"It's alright, I understand" She says squeezing his hand. "Where's Madelyn?"

"In the library with Finn," Henrik told her. "He's telling her stories and fairy tales" Claire smiles at the image that appears in his mind.

"My brothers and I are growing quite jealous of Finn, he's been holding Madelyn's attention for far too long" Henrik jokes seriously. 

"Don't worry, I'm sure you'll all have a wonderful time with her during the teen years" Henrik chuckles.

"I look forward too it" Henrik says kissing her head.

It took a while, and plenty of bickering, but Elijah and Kol were able to find Rebekah. Only problem is that they couldn't get to her.

"Hello?" Kaleb answered as Claire hands him the phone. He looks at her confused as Elijah starts talking.

"Someone is channeling Rebekah but we can't get her out. There's some circle around her. Some kind of confinement spell. If I can't remove her, we can't break the link"

"It's a convoluted spell. It's like a witch's recipe" Kaleb explained. "You can spoil the balance by adding a potent ingredient. A mystical binding agent" Kaleb tries to think. "Do you have any volcanic ash, rock salt... anything up to or including eye of newt?"

"We're right by the water in fucking New Orleans, I'm sure I can dig up some volcanic ash" Kol says sarcastically in the background.

"What about the blood of a witch?" Elijah asks.

"Do you have the blood of a witch?" Kaleb asks.

"I'm sure you know where the warehouse is" Elijah tells him.

"Uh, yeah, sure, I'll uh, I'll be there" Kaleb nods.

"Hand the phone back to Claire" Elijah says. Kaleb does as told awkwardly. "We've found Rebekah, we'll be able to get her out of this enchantment once Kaleb gets here"

"Will Asher be alright?" Claire asks.

"He'll be fine" Elijah assures her. "Go to the main room and relax or go to the library with Finn and Madelyn. Please just relax and let me handle this"

"Alright, I love you" She whispers to him.

"I love you" He replies before hanging up. Henrik kisses the top of her head and pulls her towards the kitchen.

"What'd he say?" Archie asks sitting beside his brother.

"They found Rebekah, he needs my blood to free her" Kaleb says. Archie's head snaps towards him. "It won't be a lot, just enough to get her. We get Rebekah, Asher recovers"

Archie holds Kaleb's gaze before looking back at his twin brother. He clenches his jaw feeling more conflicted than ever. He wanted to save Rebekah and his brother but he doesn't want to harm Kaleb. Just the thought of Kaleb being hurt makes his blood boil.

"Hey" Kaleb says sitting beside him. "It's not gonna hurt, I'm gonna be fine" He says turning Archie's head towards him. "Come with me, you'll see. I trust Elijah, he's just trying to save his sister which will save your brother"

"Fine" Archie gives him. "As long as you're ok with it" Kaleb smiles at him and nods.

"Come on, we need to do this sooner rather than later" Kaleb says standing up. Archie looks back at his brother and pats his arm.

"Hang in there bro, we'll bail you out" Archie says standing up. Kaleb slides his hand into Archie's and the two of them walk out of the room. Kaleb gives his hand a comforting squeeze making Archie smile slightly.

"He's going to be alright" Kaleb reassures him.

"I know... Thanks to you" Archie says leaning over to press a kiss on his cheek. Kaleb grins and blushes. Archie smirks a little deeper.
