"Did I make the right decision?" Claire whispers hugging herself. "Am I right bringing them here?" Claire asked looking up at Elijah. She's leaning against the door into the office. He stands from his seat at the desk.

"You need your coven here." He says walking towards her. "You're their leader. Their stronger with you and your stronger with them. Right now, we need to be as strong as we can be. You're right to bring them here" Elijah assures her. He pulls her into his arms and she lays her head on his chest. "You didn't force them to come, you didn't demand anything. You explained the situation and you asked, their coming because they want too. Because they care about you."

"I don't think I would ever forgive myself if something happened to them because I asked for their help" Claire whispers. Elijah kisses the top of her head gently.

Once Claire realized the threat that resides in New Orleans, how the witches are already making the Mikaelson's their enemies, she knew she would need her own coven. She needs her family, her witches that she can trust to have her back. She hated having them uproot themselves and come to New Orleans to help her out of her mess but as Elijah said, the coven is stronger together and they need to be as strong as they can be.

"They know that there's danger, they know the risk. I cannot promise that nothing is going to happen but I can promise that I will do everything in my power to keep you, this child and our family safe." Elijah promises her. Claire smiles and looks up at him. "It's going to be alright. We have hybrids, we have trustworthy witches, we have each other. We'll be unstoppable" He smiles at her.

"I love you" Claire whispers to him as Christian, one of the hybrids, walks down the hallway towards them. Claire turns her head and smiles at him. "Hey" Christian smiles back and nods.

"They're here" He informs her. She grins widely knowing exactly who he's talking about. Her nervousness disappears for the moment and she darts past him hurriedly. She zooms down the stairs and towards the door. She opens it and grins at the new comers.

"I am so happy you're here, thank you for coming" Claire said instantly. Hanna smiles and instantly pulls Claire into a much needed hug.

"We're family, you call we come" Hanna said holding her tightly. Claire clings to her before reluctantly pulling away. Hanna smiles at her softly as she takes in Claire's appearance. She could see how hard this is for Claire, how terrified she is about the pregnancy situation.

"I hope I won't be keeping you all here for long" Claire said letting Hanna go. Claire didn't want to keep them here seeing as they've been living in Mystic Falls for years. Maybe once everything is over, they'll want to return. She didn't want to take over their lives, she just needed their help at the moment.

Hanna enters the house, behind her is Hanna's mother and father. Claire grins at the two of them. Hanna's mother greets Claire first.

"Nonsense dear," Bethany, says pulling Claire into a hug. "You're our coven leader, without you our coven is practically powerless" She said. "And without us, so are you." She reminds Claire the importance of the coven sticking together. Hearing not only Elijah tell her this but Bethany as well helps keep Claire calm, helps her know she's doing the right thing. "Besides, we'll show these New Orleans witches just who their fucking with" Bethany grins and winks at Claire. Claire giggles and instantly smiles back.

"That child you're carrying is as much of our family as you are, I'm not about to let anybody take another one of my grandchildren away" Alistair, Hanna's father, said sternly. Claire smiles and kisses his cheek before giving him a gentle hug. "You're not alone in this, we're here" He promises before moving into the house.

"I heard these witches are deeply rooted with the Ancestor's" Henley, Hanna's sister, said stopping in front of Claire. "What better way to get back at the Ancestor's for what they did to us than to take their precious witches away?" Henley smirks. Claire grins slightly and nods.

"You look beautiful, thank you for bringing us here" Jim, Hanna's brother, said entering the house after Henley. Jim is more closed off than the rest of the family. A man of few words but no less protective and loyal than the others.

"Hey, sis!" Penelope shouted pulling Claire into an abrupt hug. Claire's eyes widen and she quickly returns the hug.

"Penny?! Aren't you supposed to be in college?" Claire asked her smile as wide as can be not expecting her to have come with them. 

Claire didn't want to involve her siblings. She didn't want to take over their lives. Hanna, her siblings, Jim and Henley, and her parents, Bethany and Alistair,  have more experience in situations like these. She remembers the stories of her father, Noah, and how they helped get him away from his coven. This isn't exactly the same situation but there's just as much danger, danger Claire didn't want to put anybody in but she knew she would need the guidance and support of her coven.

"Didn't work out" Penelope tells her as she pulls away. "I would much rather be here in New Orleans" Penelope says in an excited tone. "I've been dying for some action, it's been far too boring recently." Penelope wiggles her eyebrows before going into the house. "Hi Elijah" Penelope grins with a slight blush. Claire shakes her head at her sister as Elijah greets them politely.

 "Now, if you could show me to my room, I have plotting to do." Henley said impatiently. Claire nods and turns to Christian, he had followed her down to the main floor.

"Christian, please show them to their rooms" Claire said politely. The hybrid nods and takes them up the stairs. 

The hybrid house, thank God, had been completed meaning everyone had more room to breathe. It didn't exactly sit will with Klaus that the hybrids had a larger house but Claire didn't mind. They had more people and they need more room. With the hybrids in their own home, they had more than enough room for Hanna and the others.

The only people missing now were Asher and Archie. Rebekah had planned on taking Asher to Europe and where Asher goes, Archie follows. So now all three of them are on the other side of the world. 

Archie is severely imposing but seems to be enjoying himself. According to Asher, at the beginning of the trip Archie was the biggest cock-block in the world until Rebekah and Asher stopped caring. Once that happened, Archie learned to keep his distance. 

"Hold the door!" A familiar voice shouts as Claire went to shut said door. Frowning her eyebrows she opens it again and looks out. "Surprise" Claire's jaw drops.

"Bonnie? Jamie?" Bonnie drops the bags and runs to Claire.  Claire grins and runs to her best friend, the two of them hugging each other tightly. "I can't believe you're here!!" Claire said literally coming to tears.

"Of course I'm here! Not only am I part of the coven now but you're my best friend and someone thinks it's ok to put you in danger" Bonnie said pulling away. "Besides, Mystic Falls just isn't the same without you and Caroline." She said shrugging. Claire laughs happily and hugs her again. 

Bonnie had graduated before her and Caroline. It's been months since Claire's seen her. After graduation, Bonnie and Jamie returned to Mystic Falls. They weren't doing much. They helped around the high school and helped Rudy run the town but after everything they've been through, it began to get boring.

"I hope you don't mind us being here" Jamie said politely. He knew Claire wasn't expecting them and he didn't want to impose.

"Of course not" Claire said pulling away Bonnie. She gives Jamie a short hug knowing Elijah, who's watching them intently, doesn't like her touching other men, even if their mated. "There's more than enough room. Come in" The three of them walk up to the door. Elijah stands there with a small smile on his face. He nods to Bonnie, thanking her for coming.

Bonnie hadn't planned on coming originally. Not because she didn't care about Claire but because nobody told her about the situation. Elijah called her personally and told her everything. Elijah knew Claire was struggling and she needed someone to take her mind off of things, someone that isn't one of her mate's. Claire needed her best friend.

Once Bonnie knew everything, she went to Hanna and demanded to go with them. Hanna didn't put up a fight and even took Bonnie to her Bethany and Alistair, the covens elders, and had the Bennett witch inducted into the coven.

"Is Caroline and Enzo here?" Bonnie asked. Claire sighed and Bonnie instantly comes to a stop. Claire hesitantly looks at her. "You didn't tell her?" Bonnie asked feeling completely shocked. She had expected Caroline to be the first to know about everything that's been going on.

"Caroline finally has her mate." Claire sighs stressfully. "She's finally the happiest she's ever been. I don't want to take that from her by bringing her back into my mess." Claire explained closing the door to the plantation. "She's out in the world, having fun, living life. What kind of person, what kind of sister would I be if I took that from her?" Claire asked raising her eyebrows at Bonnie. "It was hard enough to ask you all to come and help me" Claire told her and Bonnie could see the stress taking of her.

"Claire, Caroline deserves to know what's going on" Bonnie said leading Claire over to a place to sit. "Caroline loves you and she's going to want to be here with you. Besides, I remember when you two were separated for only a day and you both went crazy. How long have you been apart?" Bonnie asked.

"Since graduation" Claire mutters. "A little over a month" She explained.

"And her anxiety has basically skyrocketed ever since" Elijah pipes up. Bonnie sighs.

"We both knew we wouldn't be able to stick together forever. We both knew our lives would separate us someday" Claire told them.

"Yeah but you didn't need to jump right into long distance." Bonnie told her. "You should have done a few days here and a few days there." She explained.

"It doesn't matter" Claire shakes her head. "She's in Rome right now. She's living her life with Enzo and I'm not going to destroy it by bringing her into this mess."

"Being with you and helping you out isn't destroying her life."

"I have taken over her life since I was pregnant with Madelyn!" Claire snapped standing up. "She deserves a life on her own and I'm not going to take that from her. End of discussion." She said and before they could say anything Madelyn comes running into the room holding Penelope's hand.

"Mommy! I want to take Aunt Penny to go horseback riding!" Madelyn shouted.

"Inside voices, baby" Claire told her before smiling. "Yes, you can go horseback riding but I'm coming with you."

"Ok! Come on, Aunt Penny" Madelyn pulled Penelope through the house and towards the back.

"I don't want to involve Caroline. Let her have her time with Enzo." Claire told the two of them. "My house is yours but it is still my house, respect my decision, please" Claire pleaded. Bonnie sighed.

"It's the wrong decision but fine" Bonnie nods. "I won't tell her" Claire relaxes and goes after Madelyn and Penelope. "How long has she been like that?" Bonnie asked. "So on edge, the look in her eyes..."

"She's terrified" Elijah explained. "My brothers and I try to ease her stress, her concern and fear but she's living in it. She's linked to a witch here in New Orleans which means the life of her child is out of her hands and that scares her."

"She's scared to lose another one." Bonnie says. He nods.

"She's being consumed with the grief of Aaron and Theodore but it's not coming out as grief. It's coming as anger, fear, paranoia. I tried to convince her to bring Caroline but she wouldn't allow it. That's why I didn't tell her about bringing you. I hope you and the others will be able to ease some stress off of her shoulders."

"I'll do what I can" Bonnie said. Elijah smiles. "I'll try and convince her to let Caroline come."

"And if you can't just remember that you promised that you wouldn't tell Caroline." Elijah reminds her.
