Kiyara is a smart girl. She knows that to survive in this world one has to use what they have. As a result, she can be manipulative and harsh when she has in mind something she wants. She understands that women are at a disadvantage, and she will do anything she can to prove that is not the case. She is incredibly driven, and fairly headstrong, although she knows to moderate this behaviour in certain situations. The flip side to this coin is that Kiyara can also be a bit of a romantic. She disapproves of this trait in herself, as she believes she doesn't need men, but is in fact is secretly quite excited about her marriage to Maelor as she has heard of his charm and good-looks.
