NINE YEARS AGO :

Her small chubby cheeks puffed up as she gave a small glare at her smirking Minho oppa , sweat ran down from her forehead as she huffed.

"Tired already, princess?" Minho asked his 15 year old Aella, who looked tired. He was giving her some self defense lessons, she was still too young and he wanted her to learn how to protect herself just in case he wasn't there. He was afraid that there will be a day he won't be there to protect her from the evil lurking around them,

"I-I am not. I c-can do this."Little Aella said, panting. her small hands were formed into a small fist. She screamed before throwing herself at him with her small punches. Minho  laughed which made her even more angry, she was just screaming making him laugh even more.

"Why are you screaming, baby?" he asked, reaching to her eyes level, she crossed her arms against her chest and pout.

"I just want to do this right." she said. Minho kneels down in front of her.

"You won't get it if you scream like this, you have to catch the opponent off guard not by giving him the invitation by being loud like this." Her cute little pout melted his heart even more.

"I thought that would make me look cool." Minho  laughed once again and placed a kiss on her sweaty forehead.

"You are cool even without it, wait I have something to show you." He takes her hand and makes his way towards the desk. He opens the drawer and pulls out something. Aella was curious, she tapped her small feet curiously on the marble floor.

Minho turned around and showed her the box. He opened it revealing twin daggers he bought for her a few weeks ago. Her eyes lightened up in excitement and she bounced up and down.

Are these mine?" she whispered to him like it was some kind of secret. Minho nodded his head. She reached out to hold on it but he closed the box before she could even do that.

"Not so fast, princess.First you have to learn how to use them, then you can have them."

"Can we start today, pretty please?" she asked, giving him her best puppy eyes. Minho  put his hand on his waist and smiled down at her just then they heard Aella 's mom calling out for them.

"Minho ? Cherry ?" Aella's mother smiles while walking into the training room.

"Breakfast is ready. Are you guys done?" Minho  gave a smile to her

"Yes, we are done. let's go princess " Minho  pushed his hand out for Aella  to grab and she happily did.

"I am a big girl you know." Maria  chuckled looking at his daughter.

"Yes you are and I am proud of you." Minho  told her and they happily walked out of the room.

Present Time

Minho's Pov

My heart was waiting for you, Every lesson I was learning, Every heartbreak I was earning, Was cracking me open, Making me true, If only I knew, My heart was yearning for you, And waiting for me, To learn what I need to know, And go where I needed to go, To make me who I am today, Then it was only a matter of time, Till the universe made you mine, And my heart felt it may burst, What a beautiful sight, To see what is when the timing's right .

Taehyung and Aella 's pov

RING! RING !

The ring of her alarm echoed in Aella's room making her groan, she snuggled more into her warm comforter trying to block the sound of her alarm, she was annoyed, she really wanted to just throw her Alarm clock on the wall when suddenly it was turned off.

She felt the pair of hands tightening around her, something soft brush against her forehead.

"We need to wake up." A soft deep voice interrupted her senses. Then it hit her. her eyes snapped open and she met with the naked chest of the person who happened to be Taehyung .

She pressed her lips together and a little pink blush appeared on her cheeks,   his chest vibrating a little when he chuckled.she stood up from the bed  and winced a little for the scar  hey be careful darling ? Are you okay ?? Should I call Jinyoung to check on you ??

No no  I'm fine but you need to leave" she said turning towards her closet. Taehyung raised his eyebrows and sat on the bed. Aella  walked out of the closet with a black hoodie in her hand.

"Here" she pushed the hoodie in his hand. He narrowed his eyes looking at the oversized hoodie, who's hoodie is this? Does she have a boyfriend? He is griping about the material pretty hard.

"Are you trying to rip it?" He looked at her.

"Is it yours?" She shakes her head.

" It's ,Baekhyun ‘s  ' Taehyung blinked his eyes, I'm  being stupid he mumbled to himself  and wore the hoodie which fit him perfectly. He stood up ready to leave.

You have to meet Akio. I heard he will leave soon. I think you should  talk to him  before he leaves Tokyo " she nodded her head, he ruffled her hair and kissed her forehead and smiled back.

Taehyung turned around to leave through the door, her eyes widened and he pulled back..

"What are you doing?"  asked Aella "Going to my room ?" Said Taehyun

Do you have a death wish?" she asked and pushed him towards the room again

"What the--

"Dad might be awake and if he sees you and moreover  Max and Shin are out too, what if they tell dad anything?  he is definitely going to slaughter you."

A/N POV

Taehyung gulped and looked at her in horror,it's true that he tricked Shin and Max to enter her room but  Haesung is aware of the fact that Taehyung likes her daughter,  but does it matter,  definitely not because  Kim Taehyung is ready to face anybody for her what Kim Taehyung wants he gets and now it's time to announce everything to everyone he can't take the risk it for fuck sake .

"So what do you want me to do?" Taehyung asked cluelessly.

You can go out from there. Aella  pointed at the window and Taehyung just Chuckled at her statement , an idea came to his mind and he decided to tease her more clearing his throat he said  You know what darling  you are the best in doing this kind of stuffs and moreover I'm not a monkey and I love my legs and life too much . Aella glared cutely towards him .

Kim Taehyung what do you mean haa , Taehyung gave a boxy smile before running towards the doors and finally he came out of her room while Shin and Max exchange an unknown look towards them , but Taehyung didn't react and he directly went towards the living room , where Haesung is waiting for him .

Meanwhile Haesung ‘s pov

Haesung is sitting in the  cozy living room of Taehyung's mansion but he is deep in his thoughts . But thought gets interrupted when  Taehyung calls him while coming downstairs. 

"How is she?" he asked.

"She is good for now. Did you  Stay with her at  night ??  Taehyung nod but he noticed Haesung 's sad face

"Dad? She will be alright." Haesung nods his head before speaking  but you know what son  I can't shake off this feeling .  I know Dad but still  their motives are unclear, and they seem to always be one step ahead. Said Taehyung  And the way they knew about our  secret hideout... It's as if they have inside information. Said Haesung they  might be onto something if I'm not wrong, clearing  his throat. Haesung starts to speak for now.I should consider the possibility of a mole within my  group.

A mole asked Taehyung yes. It's hard to believe, but it's the only explanation for their constant attacks.  We need to find out who's leaking information and stop these attacks once and for all. I agree, moreover  Aella's safety depends on it. Said Taehyung, so Let's start investigating and uncover the truth.

Both Haesung and Taehyung exchange determined looks, ready to dive into the mystery of Aella's attackers.

For a few minutes nobody said anything But from the look of Taehyung  anyone can say that he is nervous . He is nervously fidgeting with his fingers  .

Taking a deep breath and looking at Haesung who is sipping coffee but his action halts  when Taehyung speaks

Dad, there's something I need to tell you. Haesung raised an eyebrow, What's on your mind Son ? " He asked, "Well, it's about Aella, your daughter."

Haesung sets down his coffee cup and gives Taehyung his  full attention. Is something wrong with sweetheart?

Looking  into  Haesung ‘s eyes, Taehyung  starts to speak" No, nothing's wrong with her. In fact, it's the opposite. Dad, I've known Aella for a short  time but  I've come to realize that I'm in love with her.

Haesung nodded his head but he was not surprised at all; but he took a moment to absorb Taehyun's confession .

Please don't get mad at me , No I'm not  Son you're a wonderful person, and I can see how much you love and  care for my  sweetheart and most importantly that you'll always be there for her  But she's my daughter, and I need to know what she want  without breaking eye contact with Haesung he started to speak looking  determined with his own decision .

I promise, you dad  I will do everything in my power to make her  happy, I'll support her, protect her, and cherish every moment we have together . Haesung smiled and said "Well, then, I can see that your feelings are genuine. Just promise me one thing ,  take good care of my girl . I promise, dad , Thank you for understanding.

Honestly speaking I really wanted you to be my son in law. I just want someone who will protect and love my daughter  and you have all the qualities which my sweetheart desires to be with a man like you.

You think so Taehyung asked, being a bit surprised about Haesung 's statement , Yes whenever I asked about the qualities she want in her man she always spoken one thing , what is it?? asked Taehyung

She said you will know through my eyes that he is the one and I looked it already she never hide anything from me and never she will able to do it but son remember one thing yours journey will not be a easy one but  I know you will good for her hearing  this, Taehyung smiles widely and hugs Haesung suddenly.

"Thank you dad, thank you so much." Haesung laughed and patted his back, breaking their hug. Haesung suddenly said "But if you hurt her I swear." showing him his fist that he will be dead, Taehyung throw his hand in air in defense,

"Never, she is my darling, my love . I will die but I will never hurt her."  Haesung smiles looking at him  but his smile soon drops and he  reaches out his hand  and gently touches Taehyung's hand,

"I hope you two find happiness together. Sweetheart means the world to me, and I trust you to be a part of her without Taehyung 's knowing his eyes started to tear up a little". Thank you, dad  I won't let you down.

The two share a warm smile, and the weight of Taehyung's confession lifts, leaving room for the hope of a bright future with Aella and he definitely will.

But little did they not  know that someone is hearing everything.

Xiumin is standing in the upstairs listening to everything what they just talk he was going towards his room but watching Taehyung 's coming out from Aella's room leads him towards here and now his heart broke into million pieces but he can't do anything about it , he can't be the one , no one can be the one as he knows the truth that how much Aella love Taehyung , from the start when she first saw Taehyung there is nothing which is hide from Xiumin and if she is happy with him  he will do whatever that will keeps her happy without wasting a second he left the place immediately .
