Hyelin's POV

"HOW COULD HE GET AWAY", I yelled as I saw there was no sign of Yifan at the dockyard.

Just moments before we were all in a fight against Yifan. After he hurt Taehyung, I kind of lost control as I went out to attack him. It had turned into a complete face off until Yifan managed to get into his car and escape.

"FUCK! FUCK", Namjoon yelled as he threw his gun to the ground before he kicked it with all his might.

One second I saw him all riled up, next second I found him clutching the collar of my coat as I was propelled ahead. "HYELIN YOUR FUCKING MEMBER KILLED MY FAMILY. TELL ME THE TRUTH, IS IT ONE OF YOUR TACTICS AGAIN?", he clasped his hand so tightly that I struggled to release myself.

"LET GO OF HER!", Taehyung yelled as he pulled me away before protectively standing in front of me.

"FUCK OFF TAEHYUNG. I AM PRETTY SURE SHE IS INVOLVED WITH YIFAN. AND THIS IS HER SET UP", Namjoon tried to get around the younger to get at me.

"MAYBE WE UNDERSTIMATED THIS BITCH. SHE REALLY IS MUCH CRAFTIER THAN I THOUGHT", he yelled at the top of his voice.

"NAMJOON STOP!", all of us were stunned as Jin yelled. He clenched his fists as he packed a punch on Namjoon's face. The leader faltered in his steps as he was taken aback at being hit by SeokJin.

"Get in your senses! What the fuck are you saying? If you accuse Hyelin again I will forget that you are the man I love and smash you to a pulp", Jin growled as he shook the younger by his collars. Namjoon almost snapped out of his daze as he looked at me.

"Hyelin I—", he approached but Taehyung pushed me away from him. "Don't even try", he glared at the older, clearly mad at Namjoon raising his hand on me.

Namjoon sighed. "I am sorry. I just—", he seemed to have no words to continue.

"Its all right Taehyung", I said to my boyfriend who lowkey looked so mad as I approached Namjoon.

"Your anger is valid. I am at fault here. I apologize for not seeing the red flags in Yifan's behavior. But please know none of us knew what shit he was upto. That is why when I first came to know, I told Taehyung about it"

Namjoon broke down as Jin hugged him. "He killed my family and today he fled right in front of me and I couldn't even do anything. The man that had Gowon and mom killed was right in front of me Jin. He—"

My heart crumpled as I heard this. I looked to the side to see Suho standing there, his eyes devoid of any emotions. I cursed myself for forgetting about him as I approached.

"Junmyeon", I called softly and he looked up. I took him in a tight hug but he didn't respond, too shaken to react. "I know how you feel. Yifan has broken all our hearts. Its okay, let it out"

The moment I said this, I heard a soft sob. "Even I have let you down Hyelin. He planned all this in your absence and I couldn't even figure out what he was upto. I am so sorry"

"Don't blame yourself for it. We have uncovered the truth now and we will make sure we get back at him"

Suho nodded and I ruffled his hair. "Get it together Myeon. He is no longer one of us. He is rogue now"

Suho nodded. "But we still have to tell it to the others"

The sniffling of tears was heard as 19 of us sat along with Sua and Daniel. Close to 20 people in the room yet it was an silent as it could get. Unless a sob or two were heard amongst the EXO members. Sehun wiped his eyes as Xiumin put a hand on his shoulder. Kai too looked gloomy as he sat beside Kyungsoo holding the older's hand who himself for a change seemed disturbed.

Other than them everyone had a hard time taking it in. Baekhyun, Chanyeol and Chen, the notoriously mischievous members were all silent. The China line consisting of Yixing, Luhan and Tao were even more devastated. Despite all of us being extremely close to Yifan, these four had an even stronger bonding based on shared ethnicity. For them it was the most difficult to take in. Sua looked at me worried about the boys and urged with her eyes to talk to the others.

"Whatever that could go wrong has gone wrong already", I stood up as I spoke and all eyes were on me. "Now is not the time to keep lamenting. Yes we got played. I don't want any of you to have sympathy for him anymore. He didn't think about us once and neither do we have to. He is our enemy Wu Yifan now. He no longer is a part of EXO. And do you remember the day we officially became a full group, what did I say?—"

"If any of you ever feel that the Mafia business is not for you, just leave. We will respect the choice and the door is always open. But turn against the others or betray the group and I will hunt you down myself with no mercy", Suho completed. "We remember. And don't worry we won't show any mercy to Yifan"

"Yifan is fearless now. He has nothing to hide. He will come at us again with everything he has. And its best we prepare for it", Lay spoke up.

"He doesn't have a secret to keep anymore", Suho added. "Up till a few hours ago he was subtle because he feared Queen might know. But now, the battle ground is open for him"

"I still have something I want to know", Xiumin suddenly stood up as he looked around the room until his eyes fell on Namjoon. His voice was hard and stoic, something which was very much unlike the oldest.

"Did you have Wei killed or not?"

"What..", Namjoon said helplessly.

"Don't fuck with us", Xiumin growled grabbing the younger by his collars. "Did you have Wu Wei killed or not?"

"I don't even know who Wei was!", Namjoon yelled back as he pushed Xiumin away. "Why would I have him killed?"

"Then why does Yifan want revenge over his brother's death? The death he has pinned on you? I have known Yifan long enough to know that he isn't a man of whim. He'd only come after you if you were wrong. And I don't see why Queen and the rest of us should shield or help someone like you if you really had him killed", Xiumin said with gritted teeth.

Namjoon was rendered speechless as all of us looked at him.

"Wei...", Hoseok stood up. "I remember a guy named Wei", he said looking at me and Xiumin. "He joined the same time as I did. A splitting image of Yifan now that I recall. He barely spoke Korean but he was a hard worker so he was recruited. He also hung out a lot with....Leo", Hoseok's eyes widened.

"No wonder why Leo is helping Yifan. Wei must be his friend", Yoongi added.

"But why was Wei killed", I said, no longer being able to take the lack of concrete answer. "There has to be a reason for his death"

"Was he killed by Yedam?", Jin suddenly piped in. "Remember when both our groups met to discuss who killed Yedam? His death was quite out of the blue. No gang had motive to kill him. Maybe it was Yifan. And since Yedam killed Wei, Yifan had revenge on his mind"

"Yedam... Wei.... Leo...", Yoongi muttered until he yelled. "SAKURA! Something tells me that Sakura is involved. Wei was the Chinese guy who used to date her when she joined. Sakura was also the whore Yedam was with for a brief while. Maybe Sakura is our missing link!"

"That is why Sakura was killed. I think I know why. Play the recording for me Tao", Hoseok said to the younger one who had nabbed WonHo's mobile hours ago. All of them patiently listened until Yifan admitted to having hired Takahashi.

"So that means Sakura was also a target. So she wasn't innocent either. But then why did Yedam kill Wei?"

"I know one person who can answer this for us", Namjoon said. "Sakura's sister who is currently in London, living in one of our safe houses. If there is anyone who Sakura confided everything in, it was her sister Akari"

"Sakura used to date that guy", Akari spoke through video call, in Japanese as two of Bangtan's men stood behind with guns in their hands to make sure she answered to all of that Namjoon asked. Jin on the other hand translated it for us to Korean.

"He was Chinese. Madly in love with her. Sakura didn't feel the same. In the morning she would be with him but at night she'd sleep with other men", Akari lowered her eyes as she spoke, embarrassed to talk about her dead sister's past.

"Sakura did drugs.. a lot... but she didn't have the money to pay for it. And she fell in debt with some drug lords here in Tokyo. Yedam told her to steal from Bangtan which she did. And she lied to Wei saying it was for her family which made the man take the fall for her. When she realized she was in hot waters, she blamed it all on Wei and snitched to Yedam who killed him. But eventually Yedam realized the truth and to keep him shut, she split the money with him"

"No wonder I didn't know", Namjoon spoke slowly. "$20,000 is pennies in our profession. I wouldn't even know if someone stole that. It was always the middle level members that dealt with things like this. I never instructed anyone to kill Wei"

"Its misdirected revenge", I spoke up. "Yifan thinks it was you who did it. He pins it ultimately on all of Bangtan and not just Yedam and Sakura. He needs to know that it wasn't you Namjoon"

"Doesn't change the fact that he killed my family", Namjoon's voice hardened. "Even if on a wrong note, the war has been declared. And the only way around it is to put an end to it"

I nodded. "We must prepare", with that I looked at Sua and Daniel. "But before that we need to take my family to safety. Xiumin call the Thai team. Tell them I have a mission for them"
