Queen's POV

"She is stable now Hyelin. You don't have to worry too much. Give it a week and she will gain consciousness"

I looked to the side at Jinyoung who was the doctor treating Sua. We were currently standing in front of her room and looking at her through a pane on the door. Daniel insisted he wanted to see Sua and hence both of us came here.

"Really?"

"Why would I lie?", Jinyoung chuckled and his eyes turned into crescents. "Yes Hyelin, she will be awake"

I smiled as I heard this. Jinyoung the only person apart from EXO and Sua who knew my real identity as Queen. Maybe because in the past 10 years he had treated me more than I could count. From fatal injuries to gastric problems and hormonal acne, he kind of took care of everything.

"Noona", Daniel returned from the restroom and both of us turned our attention to him.

"So he's your brother", Jinyoung spoke. "You guys look similar", with that he extended a smile to Daniel who got a little shy. "Anyway Hyelin, I will have to take leave. I'll check up on Sua again after some time. Also, why don't you tell Daniel the news?", with that he pat my back and left.

"What news?", Daniel quizzed.

"Jinyoung said that Sua is stable now. She will gain consciousness soon and within a few days even get better"

An expression of disbelief formed on Daniel's face before he gave a big smile. He looked at her and I looked at him. A spark formed in his eyes full of love and admiration for our sister.

"I cannot.. I cannot wait for Sua to wake up. And once she gets all well, we will live together. It will be so much fun.... right?", his excitement vanished as he realized I wasn't responding and the look on my face wasn't exactly one of joy.

"Daniel, I....I mean we need to talk about something"

We sat on a bench in the hospital garden. The same place we had sat on a week ago when we barely knew each other.

"Daniel, tonight I will be leaving the house. Your and Sua's house"

"Why?", he was stunned.

"I have to do something important. I need to stop the people who tried to kill me— that is mistook Sua as me and shot her"

"What", all colour drained from his face. "No you cannot go behind them...... they are dangerous. What if they do something to you? No, No I am not letting you go"

"Daniel. Daniel", I put a protective hand on the boy's shoulder. "Calm down. Nothing will happen to me. Remember when we first met and I told you that I am not exactly a good person?"

He nodded, tears rolling down his eyes.

"Yes I wasn't being dramatic like they are in movies. I really am not a good person. Probably even worse than the people that tried to kill Sua"

"Does that mean you kill people", his eyes widened.

"There is no way to sugar coat this but if it makes you feel better, only the bad ones. Never the good or innocent ones"

He looked down to his feet as he tried to make sense of what I was saying.

"What are you going to do then?", he suddenly looked up.

"I am going to infiltrate their base to get some information. Using that I most likely will be able to end them in some time"

"But how will you do this alone?", he quizzed. "You are just one"

"I am only one in theory. But in my backing, there are a lot of people"

"Can you take me with you?", he pleaded like a child.

A chuckle left my mouth. "If I say yes, Sua will wake up from her bed like a zombie and come down and rip me apart limb by limb. But jokes aside, no I cannot. I am not putting you in any danger. That is why I need you to listen to me carefully"

He nodded.

"Its going to be dangerous Daniel. And chances are even you will get involved despite the fact that you are innocent"

"Will someone try and come for me?", Daniel asked.

"Seems unlikely but I am preparing you just in case. If anyone ever comes knocking at your door and asks about Sua, just say the truth. That she is your sister and she works in the police. Tell them you don't know where she is right now. Don't ever mention me. Act like you did before you knew about my existence"

He nodded, wiping his cheeks which were glistening in dried tears.

"One more thing", I removed a piece of paper and placed it in his hand. "If you ever feel like you are unsafe then call the number I mentioned in this paper. Just tell them who you are and they will help you"

"When will you be back?", he asked stuffing the paper into his pocket.

"I don't know", I lowered my head. "It might take some time"

"Do you know after three days it is—"

"You birthday", I smiled. "I know"

"Wow", he was surprised. "How do you know?"

"I kept tabs on you Daniel. Like for example I know you went to that adult comic book store in Itaewon once with your friends and just last month you kissed your classmate Jihyo in—"

"HEY!", he clasped a hand on my mouth. "HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS"

I chuckled as I heard him panic. "Well if you are going to kiss her in a gaming arcade—"

"AHHHH", he gasped as things made sense to him. "THAT MAN THAT SAW US AND GAVE US A DISGUSTED LOOK—"

"Was my friend", I chuckled as I recalled sending Kyungsoo to keep a watch on him since Sua was out of town.

"Oh my fucking god", he hid his face in his palms.

"No don't worry, I am not gonna tell Sua"

He burst into a light chuckle as well. "I am starting to get more and more afraid of you Noona. How resourceful are you?"

"To be honest, quite a lot. I mean I don't want to brag but you know. If you have someone annoying you or bullying you, send me their names or address. I will have it taken care of."

He laughed once again after which a silence fell upon us.

"This", I removed a red box from my coat "I got for you for your birthday. I cannot give it to you on your day so I am just giving it today"

With that I opened the box and removed the bracelet. Daniel's eyes widened as he saw it. Taking his hand, I clasped it on his wrist.

"Noona why did you buy something so expensive?"

"Because I wanted to. You are my only brother and if I don't spoil you, then who?"

Daniel smiled as he ran his thumb over it. "Thank you so much, I will treasure it always"

I nodded. Tears welled up in my eyes as I realized it was time to part finally.

"Daniel, I should leave now"

He nodded and stood up. "One last hug before you go?", he asked.

I opened my arms and he hugged me as I heard him sobbing.

"I'll be back. Don't worry. I will make sure you stay safe. Also, I put money in your comic book drawer for you to use. If you need more, a card is there too. Swipe it without any worries. Eat well and don't leave the house until its absolutely necessary"

"Yes Noona. Also why did you open that drawer? I bet you saw all the—"

"Yes I saw all the Hentai and adult comics. Quite the collection you got there", I chuckled and he laughed in embarrassment. "Japanese and Mandarin both. Now I know why you love language school so much"

I parted and I gave him one last smile before I took a few steps back.

"Bye Daniel. Take care"

"Bye Noona"

With that the young boy watched as his sister stepped away in another direction before ultimately disappearing somewhere in the darkness.

Taehyung's POV

Namjoon Hyung looked pissed. Someone will die or someone has already died at his hands. Whenever he is this mad, it probably becomes a very messy situation. "All these years of breeding those ministers and officers like dogs, feeding them millions of dollars and today they come to bite me in the ass", he let out a sarcastic chuckle.

"It'd be nice Hyung if you told us what happened", Jimin spoke.

Hoseok gave him a don't interrupt him unless you want to die look and the younger immediately shut it.

"Its the police", Yoongi spoke up, probably aware of what went down since Namjoon usually confided everything regarding the business to him. "They have planned a raid for finding evidence at the mansion after 5 days for when we were supposed to be in Guangzhou, China"

A raid?

"Why do they suddenly want to raid?", Jin asked and I looked at my brother. "We are not involved in any illicit activity recently. There's no ongoing or pending investigation"

"No one knows what it is about", Yoongi sighed. "I called the head of police for information. He wasn't aware of anything. All missions are sanctioned by him and he said nothing has been approved by him recently. Even the head of the Bureau of Crime didn't know"

"Then it has to be off the books", Hoseok stood up.

"What does off the books mean?", Jungkook quizzed. At this question everyone in the room rolled their eyes.

"WHY THE FUCK DID WE TAKE THIS DUMB BITCH IN THE GROUP NAMJOON. HE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW THE BASICS", Hoseok yelled as he glared at Jungkook.

"HEY! JUST BECAUSE I—", Jungkook was about to retort when I cut in.

"It means something which is done secretly and without any formal procedure. Off the record mission meaning no information regarding it will be mentioned anywhere"

All of us suddenly fell silent as we heard this.

"What do we do now Hyung? Lets just transport all the files and stuff into a safe space and leave for a while", Jimin suggested.

"Why?", I spoke up and everyone looked at me. "We are not cowards to hide from them. I mean let them come. We know now what their plan is. If its off record, no one's coming to save their petty asses when they realise intel is wrong and they kind of have just walked to their deaths. Plus I assume there won't be many. If its a secret mission, the less the merrier"

"I like that", Yoongi smirked. "Let's teach them a lesson so none of their peers try and do off record missions like these on our group again"

Everyone got into thought as they realized what I was saying made sense.

"All right", Namjoon spoke. "Jimin, cancel the plane reservation to China. Let us make the best preparations for the arrival of our officer friends, shall we?"
