Third Person POV

Queen smirked as she read through the case file on her own self. Every evidence in there pointed to her being Mason Choi's killer. This is what Sua had warned her about before. She didn't pay much heed then but now that she was inside, she could easily turn the tables.

A sudden idea went off in her mind as she saw the warrant attached to the case for investigating EXO mansion.

If she could convince the Chief it was Bangtan who did this, she could get a warrant to Bangtan's Mansion. Once inside, it would be so much easier for her to observe the business first hand and report to Suho and EXO could then use it to their advantage to end Bangtan.

She picked up her phone as she called a number. "Kai, I need you to do something. You have friends in the Forensic department right? Taemin?"

The man agreed from the other side.

"I want you to ask him to tamper with evidence. Remember Mason Choi? His body was found. I don't know what the fuck Chanyeol was doing when I asked him to dispose it without a trace but somehow they found it. So now we plant evidence on it"

"Noona, so we get a DNA sample of one Bangtan member and then put it on Mason's body and Taemin can make a record citing the presence of evidence?", Kai asked from the other side.

"Exactly Kai", she smirked. "Aren't you one smart little bear. Now you beat Sehun to be my favorite"

Kai chuckled. "Got it Noona, I'll get one of the member's DNA. Don't worry"

"Oh oh", she interrupted. "Take the Maknae's. That coconut head is aggressive but he is stupid. He will slip and leave traces"

"I know exactly what to do to get his DNA. Leave it all upto me", Kai smirked as he cut the call.

He removed a burner phone as he made another call. Two rings in and a female spoke up.

"Irene, its me Kai. Need a favor"

Bae Joohyun aka Irene walked into the Moscow Mule club at 11:58 pm. Her long hair flowed behind her while the dress curved her body tightly. All men turned to have a look not caring that they already had female companions who were now glaring at them.

Another head turned and a familiar face found itself staring at Irene.

Jungkook.

Irene's eyes met his and she smirked as she caught Jungkook check her body out.

Irene slammed Jungkook into the wall as she kissed him. One hand in his hair, she yanked it upwards aggressively to kiss his neck. Jungkook closed his eyes as he took in the pleasure.

Irene smirked as she held the fine hair between her fingers.

Taemin stood outside in the rain, wearing a long raincoat which borderline made him look like a psychotic killer. No one would guess this man was indeed a part time doctor. Part time because on the side he also covered up for criminals by fake planting evidence. His connections in the forensic department were invaluable to all his Mafia allies and they couldn't count the number of times he had saved their sorry assess.

A strut of heels caught his attention and he parted his hand from his body. A female passed beside him and their cold hands touched as Taemin grabbed the small packet from her hand.

Once in his car by himself, he closely looked at the hair sample and a smile formed on his face. Time to manipulate reports now.

Queen's POV

"Uh Hyelin"

I looked back to see Daniel standing there. I raised an eyebrow at him looking at me sheepishly.

"I meant Hyelin Noona"

I suppressed a smile at that. "I see you don't like using respectful titles. I thought Sua was a very strict person. How did you get away with not calling her respectfully"

"Well she scolded me a lot but then I did it only to annoy her. Anyways I came to ask how was your first day?"

"I slipped a few times and almost blew my cover up. I am going to have to start remembering names and everything soon"

"If it helps, they have a yearbook kind of thing where you can see other cops's pictures and names. Maybe that should help. Its in Sua's room"

"Thank you Daniel", I nodded my head at him in regard.

"Uh, can I ask you something?"

"Yeah go on"

"How did you and Sua reconnect?"

The color from my face drained as I heard this. Daniel too noticed how Hyelin turned cold and her face went blank. A part of him regretted asking. Maybe it wasn't the best thing to ask.

"Things happened and we met. But I would appreciate if you not bring that up again. I am not fond of that incident and I don't like talking about it either"

Daniel nodded, a little scared. He backed away not wanting to anger Hyelin further. She might be his sister but she was still mostly a stranger to him. And he didn't want to test unknown waters. "I am going to be in my room, I have school tomorrow so I have to do homework", with that he walked away in a hush.

I stared at the ground as I recalled the bitter memory of knowing Sua's existence. Knowing that I had a twin sister wasn't bad, it was how I had come to know about it.

"Please. PLEASE. WHAT ARE YOU DOING? WHERE ARE YOU TAKING ME.."

I screamed and yelled as they dragged me out of the common room at the orphanage.

"ITS NOT MY FAULT. IT IS NOT ME. I DID NOT DO IT.. ..PLEASE BELIEVE ME"

The 14 year old me screamed and cried but no one listened to me. I tried to grab onto anything I could but the female officer came and pulled me away. Unable to restrain me, they used a taser. A jolt of pain and electric current caused my body to stop and go still.

Things started becoming hazy and I stumbled in my step. That was the last time I saw the world through my innocent eyes before they were forever forced to become

Tainted.

Third Person POV

Chief Kang looked up from reading a case file as the door of his office opened.

"Oh Taemin, what is it? What brings you here?"

Taemin smiled as he stepped in before bowing slightly.

"I came here to deliver a file", he smiled as he spoke.

"You should have just called the station and one of our officers would have come and fetched it. Why did you take the pain?", Chief Kang chuckled.

"Its a sensitive report and I wanted to make sure nothing went wrong anywhere", there was a hint of mischief in Taemin's eyes as he said this.

Chief Kang shook his head and took the report. "The Mason Choi Case? Hmm. I wonder what development happened in this"

"There had been a mistake", Taemin spoke. "While we did have Queen as a suspect, she is not the one behind this. There was no concrete trace which we could link to her. But when we ran a full body check again, we found this", with that he raised his hand to reveal a small sealed bag containing a stray hair.

Chief Kang furrowed his brows as he looked into the report. "This hair. It shows a 99.99% match to a previous offender's record", Taemin continued.

"Jeon Jungkook?", Chief Kang spoke reading into the file. "He is the one who did this?"

"It indeed is", Taemin nodded. "Found it hard to believe but the hair was found on the body. Not only that, the bullet used also matches from one of his previous victims. It is mentioned in his case file"

"So its not Queen and EXO. Its Jungkook from Bangtan?", Chief spoke to himself.

"Exactly", Taemin smirked. "You probably know that he acted on orders. Because as far as his reputation goes, he doesn't do anything until his boss Namjoon orders it. So it means the entire Bangtan is involved"

"This is critical", Chief Kang pinched his nose bridge. "It would change the course of the entire investigation. Thank you Taemin, I am going to read through this case file and let you know if I need any more reports"

Taemin nodded. With a glint of pride in his eyes at the perfect execution of the task, he turned around and walked away.

Chief Kang retired to his room in the night after a long day at work. The new development in the case seemed to have broken all harmony about the case facts that him and his team had built on.

His phone rang and he looked to see a number he was least expecting.

Jan.

Jan was actually an acronym for Jang Nam one of Chief Kang's trusted informants. He picked the phone and placed it to his ear without speaking anything.

"January here", the man said from the other side, an introduction he often used to convince the other that it was him.

"I have information on the case you asked me for. The murder of Mason Choi"

Chief Kang immediately got attentive as he heard the name Mason Choi.

"His wife has made preparations to run from the country with their young child. Its because she fears that the people who killed Mason will kill her as well. I traced her calls. And in one instance she mentioned something in Japanese, her mother language — the bulletproof gang is coming for me"

As someone who understood Japanese, Chief Kang was taken aback. This could only mean one thing. It wasn't EXO but Bangtan that killed Mason Choi.

"Anything else?", the senior officer spoke briefly.

"Jeon Jungkook. My men saw him at the Han dockyard. The same place Mason Choi's body was found a few days ago. I asked around and he was there on the same night Mason's body was found as well"

The officer's phone suddenly pinged mid-call and he looked to see a secure file. As he opened it, there was a photo of Jungkook at the docks talking to someone.

"Keep me updated on this", he said to Jan. "Any new information I need to be delivered to me right away"

"Aye", with that the phone got cut.

Jan looked down as with trembling hands he removed the phone. The cold metal on his head made him still as he feared that any movement might instigate the pulling of the trigger.

"Good job. You are quite natural", a man spoke from behind. "I like how your voice did not even quiver despite being at gunpoint"

Byun Baekhyun removed his mask as he took the gun away.

"Not only do I spare your life but here's a little token of appreciation from our boss", with that he tossed a bag of cash onto Jan and walked away as the task Queen assigned him was done.
