Q: Can I ask a Quartz to review my book?

A: No. If you are looking for someone to do that, please go to Sapphire's Review Store, where the reviewers are more than willing to help you.

Q: I'm unhappy with my review! What should I do?

A: You should always try to contact your rater and ask them to justify their scores/comments. If you are still not impressed, please PM ray_of_sunshine9 and explain your argument. If after that you are still not pleased, feel free to request another rater and ask them to review your account.

Q: My rater is taking too long to write my review! What should I do?

A: First of all, be patient. You can't expect to request for a review and receive it within five minutes. The Quartzes have lives outside of Wattpad and they could be in a different time-zone. However, if they take longer than a week than promised, please message them. If there is no response within three days, please contact ray_of_sunshine9.

Q: Another rater gave me a more positive/negative review. Why is that?

A: All raters have their own tastes. Some are more pickier than others. Please understand that our raters may give a more positive/negative review. 

Q: Why is one Quartz more popular than another? Is he/she better?

A: There are several factors. Wattpadders who stumble across request centres like this tend to look out for lenient payments, experience, testimonials, no sugar-coating and detailed feedback.

Q: What happens if I don't complete the payment?

A: If you have not completed the payment, your review will not be published until payment has been completed. If you've undone your payment (e.g. unfollowed a rater who requested for a permanent follow), your rater should contact you. If you do not do the payment again within three days, the Quartz should contact ray_of_sunshine9 for further discussions and actions.

Q: Can you take down my review?

A: If you want your review to be taken down, you should request in the comments, tag ray_of_sunshine9 and your rater with a valid reason (e.g. the review was incredibly rude and unprofessional). In the end, it will be decided by Sunshine herself whether the review should be taken down or not.

Q: I don't know which Quartz to request from! Help!

A: That's understandable, especially when the number of raters grow. There are a few areas on which you should check, however.

- Which Quartzes are not on hiatus/closed for catch up?

-  Which Quartzes have short or no waiting lists?

-  Which payment are you willing to complete without a fuss?

-  Check out some of the testimonials the Quartzes have been given!

However, if you desperately want a specific rater, feel free to request for them when they're open!

Q: Can I ask for a second (third, fourth, etc.) review?

A: Yes! In fact, we encourage it! Feel free to do so.

Q: Can I ask for another Quartz to rate my profile? 

A: Yes, but only after you've received and read your first review.

Q: I'm a Quartz, and someone who has violated the Wattpad code of conduct has requested to have their account rated. What do I do?

A: Do not write a review for the profile! Click on the three dots by the top right-hand corner, which will reveal a drop-down menu. Click on report along with the reason. Please do this immediately so that the Wattpad team can review the profile ASAP. Also let ray_of_sunshine9 know so that she can remove it from your waiting list. 

Q: Do you review non-English profiles/write reviews in a language besides English?

A: As stated in the rules, the answer is no. However, it is fine if there's a bit of foreign language (e.g. a quote).
