They then brought me to different booths and bought me more of my favourite foods and got me more prizes from winning the games. While they did so , I noticed that they enjoyed doing so as they had smiles on their faces.

I definitely enjoyed today.

On with Chapter 25:

(Y/N)'s POV

When we got back, STARISH surprised us,especially me, with a surprise birthday party that they had set up while we were gone.

Apparently it was planned at the last minute when Ittoki messaged Rei-kun about the idea, and hence we spent a longer time at the summer festival.

Even Tomo-chan, Shining-san, Hyuga-san and Ringo-san were there.

During the party, we ate some cake (there's always room for dessert for me ;) ) and I opened some gifts given by them.

The party ended with me hugging all of them individually and had to ask for some help with carrying my presents back to my room.

===NEXT DAY===

3RD PERSON POV

"This is amazing!" Syo exclaimed as the skimmed through the score sheet that Nanami had just given out. "This is it! This feeling!" Ittoki exclaimed as he did the same.

"We can definitely win with this!" said Syo. "Haru's songs are truly great!" Shinomiya praised. Nanami felt very glad. "Each and every sound is so full of happiness. Your songs shine brighter and brighter." Cecil said.

"Nanami, you did well." Tokiya praised. "Good work." Ren said. "Leave the rest to us." Hijirikawa told Nanami as he turned towards her.

"Yes! I really appreciate it." Nanami admitted. Then, Ringo and Tomo pushed a clothes rack that consisted of their costumes towards the group.

"I see you're all working hard." Ringo said before stopping the clothes rack. "We've been working hard too." Tomo stated.

"Are these our stage clothes?" "Amazing!" "I love this green." Some if the members of STARISH said as all of them took their respective costumes and observed them with excitement.

"Let me know if there's anything about then that bothers you, and I'll fix it." Ringo said.

Hijirikawa then turned towards them and said "You did all of this for us." "Thank you." Shinimoya thanked.

"We wanted to help in some way. Let us know if you need anything. Also, (Y/n)-san helped us too actually, but she couldn't be here with us currently."

"Speaking of (Y/n)-chan, where is she?" Shinomiya asked. "This morning she received a call from Shining-san 《is that what she calls Shining?》, saying he wants to meet her for a short meeting." Nanami said.

=MEANWHILE=

(Y/N)'S POV

I stared at the man in front of me with wide eyes and my mouth slightly opened. "Um, Shining-san, could you please repeat that?" I said, not believing my ears.

"Alright then. Ms (L/n), I want you to perform a song, either solo or with your group, QUARTET NIGHT, during the UtaPri Award." Shining-san said.

I blinked once. Twice. What? "Why, why do I have to perform and not any other professional singers?" I questioned as I emphasized on myself.

Shining-san grinned. "Well you see here, Ms (L/n), I know of your hidden talents of singing and playing the piano, and I wish for others to recognize you not as a normal composer, or a part-time model. I want you to show who you actually are!" he said as he looked proud as ever about his speech, whereas I sweatdropped.

"Sorry but, I think I'll-" "Great! I know you'll do well, Ms (L/n)! I'll need you to inform your group if you're planning to have them sing with you, but either way solo or not, I'll need you to inform me of what song you'll be singing alright? Great! Have a nice day, Ms (L/n)!" he said as he pushed me gently out of his office and closed the door on me before I could decline him.

"..." I had so many thoughts in my head yet I said none of them. I don't even know how to react to that. I'm just, speechless. Me, singing in front of a lot of people? Wha- Why- Huh??

I internally cried as I walked slowly down the hall, trying to find my group.

Not long after, I finally see the four of them as they looked down at the floor below. As I walked towards them, I hear someone exclaiming "Let's give it our best!". I turn my head to the side to see STARISH, Nanami, Tomo and Ringo-san standing to form a circle as they were chatting among themselves.

As I got closer to the group, Ai-kun noticed my presence and looked towards me before nodding his head. I responded back with a nod too. "They look like they're having fun." I said before stopping behind them.

"Yeah. Maybe we should see if we can get more group work." Reiji suggested as he turned to look at his friends. My eyes sparkled at the suggestion. "But we work alone primarily." Camus pointed out. "I know, but it'd be fun for the four of us to work together." Reiji stated as I nodded in agreement.

"We sing together sometimes, when the president orders us to do so."  Kuro-kun pointed out." What good will getting more group work do?" he added. "What? Ran-Ran, you might say that... But you actually like Quartet Night, don't you?" Rei-kun pointed out as Kuro-kun flinched.

"We had fun singing "Poison Kiss." " Rei-kun pointed out. "Ah, speaking of singing together," I said out of nowhere as the four of them looked towards me. "Shining-san told me that I had to perform a song, solo or group. So... can you guys please perform with me?" I asked as I did my signature puppy eyes.

'Please work please work please work please work.' I thought for a few seconds until I heard Camus say "Fine."

I looked towards the others and see them eventually nod.

My eyes widened as it was filled with happiness. "Thank you so much!" I exclaimed as I tried to bring all of them into a hug.

"Come on! We need to plan the performance before we run out of time!" I said before grabbing Camus' and Rei-kun's hands, since they were the nearest and pull them towards our usual practice room.
