Diego's POV:
Axure is beautiful. I still can't get my head around the fact that my mate is half wolf. She walked over to me and rubbed her head under my muzzle, luckily for her I can mind link her due to my mark.

'Hey Amore, when ever you want to shift back just think of your human form but you might want to do it when your in the house.'

She licked my cheek before heading toward the house.

I watched as she left before turning to look at everyone else. Sky was asleep in Zayn's arms with Draven by their side. Carter and Kep were soaking in the sun, Zero was asleep with Casey grooming his fur and the lads were chasing each other and play fighting.

My attention was drawn away from my friends and to Makayla as she headed towards me.

"Hey Di, hey Wyatt. Your wolf is beautiful Wolfie. Who would have thought huh, I..I can't believe I'm half wolf. I guess my mom must have been a werewolf, I wish I knew my mom all I have is this picture."

She sat down next to me and showed me a photo frame with a little Makayla, her father and her mom. Her mom looked familiar to me.

I took the frame in my mouth and carried it over to Zayn.

I dropped the frame beside him and nudged his arm with my nose to gain his attention. He smiled at me and picked up the frame and I watched as his smile dropped.

"Wyatt where did you get this?"

I turned my head in Makayla's direction and Makayla walked over. I looked between, Zayn and Makayla and I can't believe I'm saying this but there is some resemblance.

"What's up Zayn it's just my mom and my dad. I don't really remember my mom, the last time I saw her was fourteen years ago when I was four. We used to live here before a month after my four birthday we moved away and my mom didn't come with us. My dad doesn't talk about her, he doesn't even know I have this picture."

I licked Makayla hand and she stroked my fur, I know what it's like to lose people close to you.

"Do you mind if I borrow this. I need to take Sky inside and talk to me Dad. Hey guys me and Sky are going in don't stay out too long. Case will you remind Zero he's got patrol tonight."

I watched as Zayn carried Sky back inside before turning to Makayla.

I nudged her with my head before taking my shirt she was wearing into my mouth and led her towards the house.

"Bye guys."

Makayla called and the guys all barked back making her giggle. Well at least I don't have to mind link them now.

I led Makayla back to our room before I trotted over to the wardrobe to get changed. I still can't believe my mate is half wolf, my mark must have triggered her change.

"Hey Amore."

I whispered as I came out of my wardrobe and made my way over to our bed. She smiled up at me as I caressed her cheek.

"Your so beautiful Kayla."

I pecked her lips before I laid down and pulled her down with me. I love her so much I don't care if she has a wolf or if she doesn't she's my mate and I will always chose her.

"You know I love you right Makayla. I'll always love you whether you have a wolf or not, I loved you then and I love you now."

I kissed her forehead and she snuggled up closer to me resting her head on my chest before she started to play around with my dog tags that were still around her neck.

"Diego?"

I hummed for her to continue as I closed my eyes just enjoying the moment of having my mate in my arms.

"Does..does me having a wolf mean that..that I can mark you now?"

I slowly opened my eyes and looked down at her. A smile slipped onto my lips as her question echoed in my head.

"Well I guess it does Amore."

She smiled up at me before her eyes changed from dark blue to dark orange. I kissed her lips before moving my head to the side so she had access to my weak spot.

I took a deep breath as she kissed my neck before lightly running her teeth over my weak spot.

Wyatt growled impatiently and I felt Axure smirk against my skin. She looked me right in the eye before she bit down hard leaving her mark. I hissed at first before Wyatt howled with joy in my head.

I growled in approval as Axure licked over my mark to clean it before she attacked my lips.

"I love you Wolfie."

I smile into the kiss as I felt how much stronger her presence is, I could feel her presence with in the pack now as well.

"Diego does my mark look like yours?"

Makayla whispered as she went back to lying in my arms. I reached for the mirror in my draw and looked at my mark.

"No Amore. Most wolves have the same mark as their mates. Like Sky and Zayn they both have the same mark with their names at the bottom. We only have two different marks because you half human and sometimes when a child is half human they may not get a wolf so if they are mates with a wolf then they have two different marks. It doesn't matter that our marks are different our names our still at the bottom meaning I'm all yours and your all mine Amore."

Her mark is beautiful and I wouldn't change it for the world. My mark suits her just the way it is and I think it's unique that we have two different marks.

"I love you so much Diego Leonetti."

I smiled down at her before kissing her mark and then her lips. She is my new life, my new reason to live.

"I love you more Makayla Callahan."
