Zayn's POV:
Ever had the sense of deja vu. Right now my mind is racing three damn month! Again it's taken us three months and still nothing and it's killing me.

I've begged Sky to go home but he won't, he's almost four months pregnant and he won't go home. He won't go home until we find River but at the moment I don't think we'll find him. I know I shouldn't give up hope and I haven't I'd never give up but I don't think we'll find him in time to go home for the twins birthday or for River's.

"Zayn? Zayn come and eat son."

I trotted over to the little camp fire and laid down beside Sky. I didn't have much of an appetite so I just rested my head in Sky's lap as he ran his fingers through my fur.

"We'll find him Zee I know we will I can feel it, we're close now."

I closed my eyes to stop myself from crying I need to find him but I don't want to put anyone at risk especially not Sky and our new pup.

I had thought about sneaking off and going alone but I know what will happen if I do I'll put everyone at risk especially River. I just huffed at my own thoughts and started to listen to my Little Wolf's heart beat. He's a right little thumper, I don't know if he is a he but I just have a feeling although I wouldn't mine if we had a daughter.

I've already got the perfect name for him and it'll work even if he is a she. I can't wait to tell Sky but I'm keeping it a secret.

"What are you thinking about Zee?"

I looked up at him and licked his cheek before going back to resting my head in his lap, always so curious; my curious mate.

'I was just thinking when we get home I'm going to keep you, River, Draxel, Dante and Little Wolf close. I'm not going to let any of you out of my sight. I love you Sky, now go to sleep your shattered and you have to relax for Little Wolf's sake.'

I lifted my head up and wrapped my body around Sky so his head was resting on my stomach and he was nice and warm. It'll be winter soon and the twins birthday is tomorrow.

They're going to shift and we won't be there. I feel bad for Ashton and Ryder as well the triplets it's their birthday too tomorrow and they'll be shifting too. We won't be with either of them because they're helping me and we're looking for River. I want to blame Henley, I want to blame her for taking River and keeping us apart from him and the rest of our family but I can't because it's my fault.

Happy Birthday my Pup, happy birthday my Little One. I'm sorry we're not there for your birthday, I miss you both so much.

Before my eyes closed I caught a scent, a scent that I've being longing to find and now I have. River! I jumped up alerting everyone. Sky looked at me with tired and confused eyes before they lit up.

"River."

He shifted and so did everyone else who were in human form before we all darted after the scent. His scent led us to an old run down building. I quickly sniffed around for Henley's scent but it was faded she was here.

'Sky I want you to go hid over there in those bushes. Please Babe I sense that rogues are close and I want you out of harms way. I love you. Everyone stay on guard I want Sky protected at all costs. Diego I want you to come with me. Let's go.'

Sky licked my cheek before he went to hid. I looked at Diego and he nodded before we headed towards the house.

I cautiously sniffed around the door before ripping the door to shreds. I'm coming River hold on Buddy. Diego and I cautiously walked around the old building, searching each and every room but the sound of howling stopped us both in our tracks.

'What's going on out there?!'

Before anyone got to respond a small whimper caught my attention. I ran as fast as I could jumping down a fight of stairs to the basement. I had to shake away the image of Ryder in my head but it was soon replaced by the image of River.

I shifted and put on my shorts before racing to the cell door. I ripped the door off it's hinges before I scooped up Rivers body.

"River? Wake up Buddy, it's Papà. I came to get you come on Buddy."

Diego came over cautiously he knew my anger was through the roof what the hell has she done to my pup! He looked worse then Ryder, I couldn't bare to see him so broken.

Diego ripped the chains off his little body and he slowly opened his eyes. Fear and pain were shining through them as I stood up.

"Papà."

I gently kissed his head as tears rolled down my face how could she hurt him. He's just a pup how dare they hurt my son!

"I'm here Buddy, I'm here. Keep your eyes open okay River, I know it hurts and your tired but I need you to stay awake for me can you do that Buddy."

He slowly nodded his head and I gave him a small smile.

I'll make that witch pay, I'll make her suffer for what she's done to my little boy! He looks so broken, he's not the same little boy I remember.

I carried him out of the house with Diego close beside me. He was trying to keep River awake even through I knew he needed to get medical attention fast. He's losing a lot of blood and his pulse is weak. Hold on Buddy.

When we reached the door I could see the chaos that had unfolded whilst we were downstairs. Died rogues were everywhere.

Sky ran over to me and kissed River's head as tears rolled down his face. I looked round to see Calvin on the floor with Silas trying to stop the blood that was gushing out his chest what the hell was he doing here. I looked down at River to see him getting paler I snapped out of my daze and handed him to Diego.

"Diego, Silas take River and Calvin back to the pack house now!"

We weren't too far away from home they can get them back to Amy in time I know they can. I looked at Sky and kissed his head they're safe.

"You always ruin everything Silva!"

Henley appeared out of nowhere and without even thinking I threw myself in front of Sky just as I heard a bang.
