Makayla's POV:
The pups are so excited. It's the twins and the triplets birthday today and they're going to have their first shift today.

I know they all miss theirs Dads and River and they feel bad for being happy but they should be happy. I asked Amy if it would hurt for them to shift but she said it will hurt when they shift at sixteen because their wolves will be fully mature but whilst their young it's painless.

The only one she's worried about is Dante but I think he'll be fine.

Charlie, Julian, Kai, Xavier, Leela, Zayden, Zeal, Ludo, Amy, Ethan and I snuck up stairs to the Draxel and Dante's room. They and the triplets had a sleepover the night before because they're missing River, Sky, Zayn, Ashton and Ryder but we still want to make their birthdays special.

Ludo went in first inside and jumped onto Dante's bed where he and Draxel were sleeping before he jumped off and jumped onto Draxel's bed were the triplets were.

All five of them peaked and smiled before Draxel sat up helping Dante and Asher, Rayder and Leeta sat up bouncing on the bed getting over excited but they were soon matched by Ludo.

"Happy Birthday Boys. Happy Birthday Leeta."

They all smiled up at me and everyone else but I could see the look of disappointment in their eyes when they didn't see theirs dads or River.

"Thank you Aunty Makayla, Aunty Amy. Thank you Uncle Charlie, Uncle Kai. Thank you Nanny. Thank you Ludo, thank you little ones. Aunty Amy when can we shift?"

They all thanked us before Draxel climbed out of bed and grabbed Dante's crutches. He is so good to his brother.

"Yeah Aunty Amy when can we shift Grandpa and Grandad said that they'd come and see us. Can we play chase? We could go to the lake and splash about."

Leeta was just a huge ball of energy this morning she was bouncing so much I think Asher and Rayder might fall off.

I turned to Draxel and Dante, Dante seemed sad and I knew why.

"Alright little miss how about you and your brothers go and get dressed and then go downstairs to wait with everyone. I'm sure if you ask Aunty Amy very nicely she'll call your Grandpa and Grandad over whilst I get the boys ready okay."

She smiled and ran out the room followed by her brothers and then everyone else. Ludo lingered in the door way before Amy called him.

I smiled before I turned back to the boys. Draxel had got off the bed to grab his and Dante's clothes whist Dante just sat with his back lent against the head board.

"Dante, Draxel I know you miss your dads and River but they'll be home soon. I know you don't like the lake very much after what happened but I know a small hidden beach that your Uncle Diego showed me. We can always go there and you can see the sea how does that sound."

Draxel turned to look at me smiling, I raised an eyebrow and looked at Dante. He looked away from me before he smiled and looked at me.

"Okay then, let's get you both ready."

Once they were both ready I carried Dante down the stairs with Draxel by my side. We entered the living and I put Dante down.

"Happy Birthday Trouble Makers. Happy Birthday Draxel and Dante."

The boys smiled and thanked Ashton's parents before Draxel looked up at me. I smiled and looked back at everyone.

"Draxel and Dante have decided to leave all their presents and cards until Zayn, Sky and River get back. Asher, Rayder, Leeta do you want to wait or open everything now?"

I already knew the answer to that question before they all nodded.

"Okay then, I'm going to take them down to beach does anyone else want to come with us?"

Antonio, Easton, Charlie and nodded and Ludo ran over to me with a smile practically begging me to come too I know he's eager to shift himself but I know he's also excited to see his cousins in wolf form.

"Okay then, will you guys be okay here?"

I was apparently in charge being Gamma Female and I can see why Gabriel hated this but I haven't got time to dislike my rank.

"We'll be fine Makayla. Have fun you lot."

We all headed outside and I shifted before lying down so Ludo and Dante could get on. Charlie had Draxel and Antonio had the triplets. When Amy and Easton shifted I started to run at a slow place to the beach.

It was a beautiful little place that Diego took me to the day we learnt I was pregnant with Ludo.

It was only a ten minute run in wolf form and when we got to the outskirts I laid down for the boys to get off before I ran over to a tree to change.

When I got back everyone was dressed and waiting for me.

"Okay here we are. So can the pups shift when they want or what I don't really know much about this Diego triggered my shifting after he marked me."

Antonio, Easton, Charlie and Amy smiled at me whilst the pups looked at the beach with awe.

"They just have to picture themselves as wolves. Having fur on their body, paws instead of hands and feet once they start thinking of their wolves they'll change instantly."

Okay that doesn't sound too bad, I think. I called the pups over and gave them the same instructions Amy had told me.

"Don't be afraid when you do shift okay. It will feel a bit strange at first but you'll get used to it I promise. Now go behind those trees so you can shift and let us know when your finished okay."

They all nodded before they went behind some trees and we waited.

Ludo was bouncing up and down he was excited to see his cousin in wolf form he wants to shift himself but I told him he was to young he cried for a hour until I told him he come play with the twins and triplets when they shift and that soon made him smile.

When we heard small whimpers we all made our way over to the trees to see the pups. Four of them were standing and one was lying down it was easy to tell who were the twins and who were the triplets.

Charlie shifted first because he was the smallest and less of a threat to the pups. They all wagged their tails and followed him down to the beach well the triplets did. Draxel stayed by Dante's side. He gently nudged his head and Dante looked up at me before he tried to stand up.

"We might need to help him Makayla. I don't think he can stand on his own. As he gets older and gets some more strength in his legs he can walk for a little much like his human form."

I gently picked the twins up and carried them down to the beach.

I sat on the towel Amy had brought with her with the twins and they played with the sand and watched the water but they stayed on the towel next to me. The others had shifted and were playing by the water. Ludo was running along with the triplets chasing him and a smiled slipped onto my face.

'Asher's wolf is called Clayton, Rayder's wolf is called Kit, Leeta's wolf is called Cora, Draxel's wolf is Axis and Dante's wolf is Dax.'

Thank you Axure, I would ask how you know but I already know the answer without you telling me. I do wish the others were here, Ashton, Ryder, Sky, Zayn and River would have loved to have seen them all.

'Makayla you need to bring the pups back now. The..the others are back but..but...could you please come back.'

I could hear Leela breaking and then I felt a sting in my chest. I had to take a deep breath to calm down what happened out there. Please Goddess don't let anyone be hurt please.
