Sky's POV:
I woke up in pain and to the sound of voices. I couldn't make out what they were saying all I could focus on was the pain.

Zayn. I need Zayn, he helps with the pain but where is he. He's not close, why isn't he close? He promised he'd stay with me so why isn't he close to me.

"Zayn!"

I managed to cry out as a wave of pain ran through my body, it hurts! It hurts so much! I want this to stop!

"Sky? Sky? Breathe Sky, breathe! Amy!"

Everything started to go black but I welcomed the darkness because I no longer felt any pain.

I don't know how long I was unconscious or asleep for but I woke up as I could feel sparks. Zayn; he's close. I could feel his gentle touch as he caressed my cheek to comfort me.

I slowly opened my eyes and were met with Zayn's mysterious black eyes that I have come to love more and more with each day.

"Hey Babe. Take it easy okay, your alright now I'm here."

I lent into his touch as he used his one hand that was around my waist to pull me close to him. His scent is so calming it's way better then Makayla's scent, he smells like smoke, pineapple and blueberries.

"Are you feeling better Babe? You woke up screaming an hour ago."

I just snuggled up next to him getting as close as I could to him, I don't want the pain to come back although I feel tired again so no doubt Amy gave me more meds.

"I'm okay, sleepy but the pain is only a dull throb now. What happened Zayn? Where were you and why did I hear voices?"

He gently hushed me before kissing my forehead.

"Relax Babe, your okay. Amy needed to run some tests so I had to get up. The others came in and I was talking to them. Amy just left to get something and you started screaming. Amy gave you your meds and I wrapped you in my arms and you fell back to sleep. We're not quite sure why you were suddenly in pain but Amy's gone to find out okay. Everyone's still here Babe, Ashton, Ryder, Gabriel, Charlie, Diego and..Makayla."

I drew my eyes away from Zayn and looked around the room. Everyone was just watching us and I quickly hid my face in Zayn's chest this is embarrassing.

"You don't have to hid Babe, come on."

He whispered so only I could hear. I took a deep breath before finally turning and facing everyone.

"Okay so I called you all here because Sky woke up and because we want to know the truth Makayla, why you did everything, the reason why you didn't try to stop it and why you didn't tell us."

I looked at Makayla and she sighed before looking up at Diego.

"Zayn? Zayn I..I want to sit up I can't see everyone properly lying down. Will..Will you help me, it..it hurts."

I whispered giving Makayla a few minutes to get herself ready, I don't really need to sit up to see but I do feel uncomfortable just lying here, I feel weaker then I already am.

"Of course Babe, try not to move too much okay."

I nodded and he slowly got up out of bed. He gently wrapped his arms around me and slowly moved me up so I was sat up slightly before he moved back into bed and I let my back fall against his chest.

"Better?"

I smiled up at him and pecked his cheek, I don't think I've ever kissed him before.

"Better."

He smiled down at me before we both turned are attention to Makayla. Time for the truth I guess.

"Okay, well my dad is a hunter. He..he doesn't like Sky's family for some reason, he never told me why but he told me to find someone with the last name Silva or Woods and then I had to use the spray. I wasn't going to do it, I was going to tell my dad that I couldn't find him or something but then I bumped into Diego. I knew he was a werewolf too and when I told him I knew, he told me I was his mate. When I walked off to soccer try outs my dad texted me. He said he knew about Diego and if I didn't go through with his plan then he'd kill Diego. So I sprayed the spray before practice and well you know what happened. I just wanted to protect Diego I didn't know Sky would reject me and lose his wolf. I didn't know what the spray did, my dad said a witch gave it to him so he could get revenge or something I don't know. I left as soon as Sky fell down the stairs, I swear I didn't mean to hurt you Sky, I just did what I was told to save Diego. I didn't tell you because if my father found out about Diego minutes after I found him then he's dangerous, but now it's different, now witches don't own him favours and I have dirt on him so I can protect you guys from him. I'm so sorry Sky, I swear if I knew I would have told you when you helped me out with Calvin."

I took a deep breath after listening to why Makayla did what she did and I understand why all except the part about her dad wanting revenge.

"I believe you Makayla. I understand why you did it Makayla and I forgive you."

'She should say the wolf code. Once someone says the wolf code they can't break it, it's a sign of trust and it's the first step to joining the pack. Ask mate what he thinks.'

Okay Draken by the way I'm glad to have you back buddy.

'Zayn? I..Draken and I think Makayla should say the wolf code. It's a sign of trust if you say the wolf code.'

I looked up at him and he smiled down at me before kissing my forehead I'll take that as a yes to getting Makayla to say the wolf code should I.

"Makayla, we have decided that you should say the wolf code. To pledge your loyalty to the pack."

Makayla nodded and Charlie ran to grab the book containing the code.

"All you have to do is read the code and pledge your loyalty to Zayn and Sky. Once you say the code you have to say 'I pledge my loyalty to the Crescent Sun Pack, to Alpha Zayn D'Angelo and Alpha Sky Silva."

It's the first time I've heard someone say my real surname. My uncle and I changed it to Woods after my parents died.

It's also the first time someone had called me Alpha not Beta.

"Okay.
