Five days have gone by since Taehyung had been stuck in the hospital and Jungkook felt like he was on the verge of dying. Taehyung wasn't allowed to have his phone with him so he was only allowed to call the younger certain times a day through the hospital phone.

And today Jungkook felt even worse, because today was Sunday. The day that he and Taehyung were supposed to go to the pride festival together. He couldn't imagine how sad the brunette probably felt, being stuck in a small room all day when he could be having fun.

But the older promised Taehyung that he would go for him. He only really wanted to go just to hang out with the younger so now Jungkook wasn't as excited as he was before.

"You ready?" Yoongi asked as he waited for the raven haired by his bedroom door. Jungkook was deciding on what to wear to the event even though he didn't really care how he looked. He would've cared if he went with Taehyung though because then he would've had a reason to try to look good.

"Yeah.." Jungkook sighed as he slid his phone into his pocket. Jimin and Yoongi both knew about what happened to Taehyung and sadly they couldn't do anything because the hospital wouldn't allow visitors for a week straight.

Throughout the whole time Jungkook had been counting down the days of the week until he could see the brunette again. Only two more days were left which those days felt like they were going by too slowly.

"He'll be proud of you." Yoongi reassured causing Jungkook to smile a bit. He really hoped he was making Taehyung proud by doing this because he himself was more than nervous to go to such an event.

The two males hopped into the car. Jungkook slid himself over into the backseat because Jimin was already in the front and Yoongi was driving. "Hey Jungkook." The youngest greeted. Jimin missed Taehyung as well but he also knew how much Jungkook liked the brunette so he understood why he was so down.

The three males began heading off to the event as Jungkook rested in the back of the car and stared out the window. He imagined how happy he probably would be right now if Taehyung was in the car with them as well, it felt so empty without the younger there.

After about a half an hour later the car was finally parked in one of the parking lots. Hundreds of people were walking around with bright smiles on their faces and dressed in colorful outfits. Everyone seemed to be breaking the social distancing rule which no one really cared about anymore.

"Are you walking around with us?" Yoongi asked the raven haired who seemed nervous looking around the colorful place. "Umm.. no. You guys can go. I'll just walk around alone." Jungkook didn't want to interfere on Yoongi and Jimin's date.

"Okay, let's meet back here at five." The oldest told. Jungkook looked down at his watch that read '3:00 PM' and nodded his head slightly after.

Once Yoongi and Jimin were out of sight, Jungkook began to look around the place. Almost everyone there was either a couple or a group of friends. The sight made the raven haired only wish more that Taehyung was there with him.

Jungkook felt quite out of place, he's never been somewhere where everyone was so open about their sexuality which made him even more nervous. He wasn't fully comfortable with his sexuality yet and being there alone only made it worse.

None the less, the raven haired slowly started walking around. Rainbow colored flags were being waved around everywhere and a parade was being held somewhere around the corner. "Taehyung would've loved this.." Jungkook mumbled to himself.

The males eyes caught onto a game booth that had a variety of cute, large prizes. Mostly stuffed animals that were wearing rainbow colored accessories. Jungkook took one look at one of the animals and knew that he had to win it for Taehyung, he would love it.

Jungkook made his way up to the booth which only had one other person in line. Once it was his turn the man working there gave the raven haired a huge smile which Jungkook thought was quite disturbing.

"One ticket please."

The latter's eyes widened once he realized he didn't buy any tickets. "You idiot" He mumbled to himself as he pulled out his wallet. "Will this do?" Jungkook asked as he held out a few won.

The man nodded as he took the money and stepped aside so Jungkook could play. The game's objective was to knock down all of the pins standing as quick as possible.

Jungkook had his focus set on the cute lion sitting on the prize shelf that reminded him a lot of Taehyung.

The timer went off and the raven haired began throwing the balls as quick and hard as possible. He told himself if he didn't win the first time then he would keep trying over and over again until he won that prize.

Five more seconds remained on the clock which caused Jungkook to start throwing the balls even harder. There were two more pins standing up, and right as the timer went off Jungkook knocked down both of the pins at the same time.

"Congratulations!" The worker exclaimed as he walked over to the prize shelf. Jungkook had a satisfied smile on his face, already growing excited to give the present to Taehyung. "Which one do you want?"

"The lion please." The raven haired told as he pointed to the stuffed tiger that was wearing a pride shirt. The man walked over to the animal and handed it to Jungkook after he picked it up off the shelf.

Once the lion was in Jungkook's hands a large smile formed onto his face. He smiled as he imagined that Taehyung was next to him, jumping in excitement over the prize he had won him.

"So, who's the lucky guy you won this for?" The worker randomly asked out of the blue causing Jungkook's head to shot up. "What?"

"You won this for someone right?" The man asked causing Jungkook to tense up. "O-oh uh yeah, he's in the bathroom right now.." The male lied which made the smile on his face from before turn into a frown, he wished that's where Taehyung really was right now. Instead he was in a fucking hospital in a life or death situation.

"He'll be so happy when he see's that. Have a good day!" The worker exclaimed as he went back to collect the pins that were now on the ground. The male nodded his head in response as he held the stuffed animal tight against his chest, beginning to walk around the area.

"Happy pride month!" Some random person exclaimed as they handed Jungkook a rainbow colored flag, skipping away to hand the next person a flag. The raven haired didn't get why everyone was so over extatic, which was quite hypocritical of him to think because if he was with the brunette he would be the same way.

Taehyung felt his heart weaken once he saw the festival being aired on the news. He knew today was the day of the event but he didn't want to think too much about it because he knew he'd probably become depressed over it if he did.

The brunette continued watching the screen as he lifelessly laid down in his bed. After the day he was diagnosed he was sent into his own secured room and had his phone taken away from him. He was told to self isolate for a week with only a T.V to entertain him. It felt exactly like prison to him.

But the thing Taehyung missed the most was Jungkook. It felt weird to wake up and not be able to write little messages to the older. Being away from him for five days was already painful enough.

"Taehyung? You have another call." A nurse stated as she walked into the brunette's room causing the said male to shoot up from his seat. "Jungkook?!" Taehyung excitedly asked, recieving a nod from the lady.

The phone was handed to him and the lady walked out of the room, knowing she should give him some privacy. Taehyung quickly put his mouth up to the speaker. "Kook?"

"Hey Tae." Jungkook spoke from the other line causing the youngers heart to race up again. "Are you doing okay?" Taehyung smiled at the sweet question.

"Having tubes up your nose and no phone isn't too much fun, but other than that I'm fine."

Jungkook slightly frowned at the statement. He didn't think they'd be putting tubes up his nose. "Are you having fun?" The younger questioned with a hint of sadness in his voice which Jungkook took note of.

"I'd be having way more fun if you were here with me.."

Taehyung leaned back into the bed as he held the phone up against his ear. It was calming to hear the elders voice as if they were right next to each other. "There was this one lady who tripped over a banana peel in the middle of the parade, you would've laughed so hard." Jungkook told with a sad chuckle.

Taehyung laughed alongside the older. He really wished he was able to go. "I miss you so much Kook.."

"I can't even describe with words how much I miss you." The older started. "Everyday feels like hell when I don't see you in your room."

"I'm seeing you soon right? Two days?" Taehyung hopefully asked. He didn't know if he'd make it another three days without seeing the stubborn raven haired. Jungkook softly smiled once he thought of seeing the younger again.

"Two more days.."
