[cough]

Taehyung lazily stumbled over to his bathroom after just waking up. His hair was a mess and his eyes were only halfway open, halfway asleep. After brushing his teeth he ruffled his hair up a bit to make it look more situated.

The brunette felt his nose begin to itch, causing a light cough sound to emit from his mouth as he reached over to grab a tissue. Taehyung blew his nose into the tissue before throwing it away and walking back into his room along with the headache that was making him feel dizzy.

"My allergies must be really bad.." He mumbled to himself as he left his room to go downstairs. The boy could already see his parents in the kitchen which caused him to raise his eyebrow in confusion because his dad was down there which was a rare sighting.

Taehyung sat himself down at the table as he continued to lightly cough every other minute which made his parents become suspicious. "You okay? Are you sick?" His mother worriedly questioned but Taehyung only shook his head no.

"No, it's just allergies. I'm okay." The brunette told which made his mom nod and look back at the meal that was in front of her. He would never want to admit to himself or anyone that he was sick during a time like this.

"There's this boy outside who's been pacing back and forth in front of the house for the past 10 minutes." The woman told which caused Taehyung's head to shoot up to look at the window by the front door.

And of course, there was Jungkook. He was walking his bike beside him and was wearing his usual poker face. That is until he saw Taehyung looking at him from the window. 

"Do you know him?" Taehyung's father asked once he saw the boy trying to hold back a smile as he looked outside the window. The brunette didn't respond as his attention was only on Jungkook who was now waving at the younger and signaling him to come outside.

"Can I go outside?" Taehyung asked to his parents who both nodded. "You should put some tissues in your pocket in case your nose gets runny again."

"Okay." The boy quickly said as he grabbed a handful of tissues from the counter and sped off outside. Closing the door behind him, Taehyung stuffed the tissues into his pocket as he made his way over to Jungkook who was happily smiling with his bike held close to his side.

"Hey."

"Hey." Taehyung responded with a smile as he stepped closer to the older. Jungkook was smiling until he noticed how sick Taehyung looked.

"Hey you don't look so good, are you sick?"

"It's just allergies. I feel fine." Taehyung reassuringly lied. His headache was still killing him but he tried his hardest not to show it, he didn't want to worry Jungkook.

"Oh okay, well I was wondering if you wanted to go for-" Jungkook stepped aside to present his black bike with a  goofy smile on his face. "A little bike ride?"

"You like biking?!" The younger excitedly exclaimed. He didn't think Jungkook was the type to enjoy biking. The older scratched the back of his neck as he looked towards his bike. 

"I haven't done it in a while, but I noticed you bike a lot so I thought you might want to with me?"

Taehyung excitedly clapped his hands. "Say less!" The younger stated as he ran into his garage, coming out with his bike and helmet. Jungkook chuckled when he saw the helmet Taehyung was holding.

"Your helmet's cute." Jungkook commented as the brunette ran back to the raven haired which made his hair bounce. Jungkook found that cute as well.

Taehyung almost wanted to scream out of happiness once he found out that Jungkook liked his favorite helmet. "You like it? Jimin gave it to me as a present when we were in middle school. It's my favorite helmet."

"Your head must've not grown much." Jungkook teased as he ruffled the youngers hair causing the latters heart to skip a beat. "Which is weird because your brain seems to grow day by day."

"You know I don't think Albert Einstein needed new glasses every time his brain grew." Taehyung joked as he clipped the helmet onto his head. "Now get on your bike!"

Jungkook followed the brunette's orders as he hopped onto his own bike. He wasn't wearing a helmet but now he wished he was so he could tease Taehyung on how his own helmet was cooler than his.

Before Taehyung kicked his kickstand up he brought his elbow up to his mouth and aggressively began to cough into it. He held his elbow tight against his mouth so he could try to muffle the sounds but Jungkook could hear it clearly.

"Are you sure you're okay?" The raven haired worriedly asked after the younger was done coughing. "I can get you some water or I can take you back home or-"

"I'm okay kook, don't worry about me." Taehyung reassuringly told once he was done coughing. "Let's go!"

Jungkook didn't fully believe the younger but he didn't want to bring down the mood so he kicked his own kickstand up and began peddling off alongside Taehyung who was showing off his precious box smile to the world making Jungkook smile as well.

The raven haired let go of one of the handles and reached into his pocket to pull out his phone. "Hey Tae, keep biking in front of me!" Jungkook called out as he opened up his camera app, positioning it so Taehyung was in the middle.

The said male basically forgot about his headache as he started biking in front of Jungkook who had pressed the record button.

"Look back at me!"

Taehyung tightly held the handles as he looked back at Jungkook who had a huge goofy smile on his face as he recorded the younger who was smiling as well.  "Cute." The older murmured as he stopped the recording and stuffed his phone back into his pocket.

A few hours of carelessly biking around the neighborhood went by in a flash. The two didn't want it to end but both of their parents didn't want them gone for long. Jungkook would usually just ignore the order but this time his dad sounded so serious that it was scary.

Taehyung walked back from the garage after he put his bike away and over to Jungkook who never once took his eyes off the brunette.

"Why didn't we do this earlier." Jungkook asked as he watched Taehyung walk closer to him. "My parent's would've said no, I think they're just getting less and less strict about it so I'm glad I got to do this with you today."

"Me too."

The older softly smiled as he stepped in a little closer to the younger, moving strands of his hair behind his ear causing the latter to blush.

"Taehyung! I knew I'd see you here- about to kiss Jungkook?"

Both of the males heads snapped around to see Jimin standing six feet away from them with an eyebrow raised. Taehyung and Jungkook stepped away from each other once they saw that Jimin was watching them.

"What are you doing here.." 

"I'm cockblocking aren't I? I'll get going then."

"Jimin!" Taehyung yelled as he watched Jimin walk away with a  smirk on his face. The brunette held his red face down in embarrassment while Jungkook giggled as he stared at the younger who looked more than embarrassed.

"I hate him." Taehyung groaned as he kept staring at his feet. Jungkook ignored his comment because he was too focused on keeping his eyes on the youngers beautiful face.

"You're so cute, you know that right?"

Taehyung lifted his head up to meet Jungkook's eyes. He cutely shook his head no which Jungkook thought was so hypocritical of him because even saying he wasn't cute was cute.

The raven haired closed the unwanted distance between them and placed his hand on Taehyung's soft red cheek. He didn't even realize he was leaning in way too close before someone shouted causing them to break apart again.

"Jungkook! Get inside!" 

The said male dropped his hand to his side, he was startled but he didn't keep his attention off of the younger.

"I'll see you tomorrow again, yeah?"

"A date?" 

Jungkook smiled at the bold question.

"A date."

The older left Taehyung after hugging him once, pretty scared to go back to his dad but he knew he'd be okay as long as the brunette was there for him.

Once Taehyung knew for sure that Jungkook was inside, he brought his elbow up to his mouth once again and let out the cough that he had been holding practically the whole time he was hanging out with the older.

I saw my bestest friends for the first time in 2 months yesterday, it felt so good to see them again. we hung out all day, wore masks and social distanced of course. i didn't realize how much i missed them until i saw them again and now i miss them even more.

honestly you guys kind of feel like my close friends in a way, all of the comments make me smile and they make my day so thank you :)
