Yama was launched at sufficient speed and transformed into his full Blue Phoenix form, preparing to fly over the Grimm and find his newfound friends.

He was quickly attacked by a Nevermore and so instinctively used his blue flame —that usually healed others— and sent the Grimm raven falling out of the sky, on fire as it burned faster than regular flame would.

'So my fire is more effective against Grimm than regular flame,' he thought, eyes searching the ground for anyone from his group, hopefully Ago or Rand, if he preferred anyone.

Luckily, he felt something grab his Phoenix leg and looked down, seeing a hand attached to an impossibly long arm that was slowly pulling him down to its owner.

"HEY YAMA!!!," the red-haired Devil Fruit user said cheerfully.

Once on the ground, Yama returned to human form.

"Hey... know where Rand and Kurai are?," Yama asked.

"Nope," Ago said.

"Shit- alright, we need to meet up with them and get a relic," Yama said before looking at Ago, who had a grin on his face.

"No, no, I'm not doing tha-"

Yama was flying with Ago on his back, the latter was throwing killer rubber punches.

'Can't believe he actually got me to do this,' the Phoenix Fruit user thought.

He then saw the relic area and giant plumes of dust and knew that Rand was nearly there, he also saw a black area that wasn't burnt, Kurai's doing, no doubt, the Phoenix and Gum-Gum fruit users landed next to future teams RWBY and JNPR, dashing to the ruin and grabbing a knight piece.

This would be interesting...
