He dashed up the stairs, trying to make it to the others as he prepared to use the Gura-Gura No Mi.

When he made it to the top, he began fending off more grimm, using his Haki to reinforce the blade and his Devil Fruit to increase the power of the blows.

The others were cheering him on or trying to help but couldn't get close to him as he destroyed tens of the beasts.

Suddenly, a Beowolf tackled him, allowing a Nevermore to fling a feather at his face, and when it connected, everyone watching screamed.
But then...

"They think they can beat me?," he said, the Beowolf slumping off of him as he hadn't fallen.

"I... I AM RAND NEWGATE!!!!!," he shouted, activating Gura-Gura no mi and grabbing the air with his quakes.

He then began to pull his hands downward, causing the very ground to not just rumble, but for two miles, giant rings of land surrounded the tilting mountain as an infuriated Rand began destroying the forest.
