"Alright first years in progress, you're all sleeping in here tonight, good luck!," Ozpin said before ducking out of the door and locking it.

"Well... shit," Ago said, spotting a pair of oddities nearby.

"Hey, let's go talk to them!," he said, eagerly running over and dragging a staggering Rand with him.

"W-wait, let go of my arm!!," Rand protested.

When they got to the other two, Ago let go of and sat Rand down with himself.

"So... this is slightly awkward..," the white-haired one said.

"Well Ago Gamu here forced me over here," Rand said.

"Hey! I was gonna introduce myself!," Ago said, looking annoyed.

"My name is Kurai Fukuro, this is Yama Kaji Lyashi," Kurai -the white-haired one- said.

"Well... now that we know each-other... what do we do now?," Yama asked.

"There's something about you guys... I assume you're from the Islands?," Rand said, cutting straight to the point.

"Yes, you guys?," Kurai responded.

"Yeah, been away for a while but yeah," Ago said, pointing at himself with his thumb.

"Yes, came here recently," Rand said, everyone in the group leaning in as he whispered, "do you have Devil Fruits?"

"Well you know I have one!," Ago said.

"Yes, I do, a Logia by the name of Yami-Yami no mi..." Kurai said.

The Devil Fruit was infamous for being incredibly dangerous compared to most others, given that the user could temporarily remove a Devil Fruit's powers.

But Kurai was surprised when Rand put a hand on his shoulder.

"Well then, you're a powerful person, don't let the taboo surrounding your Devil Fruit put you down," Rand said, giving a grin, "I have the Gura-Gura no mi."

"Well I have Gomu-Gomu no mi," Ago said, "what about you?"

Yama stiffened.

"Well... it's not as powerful as yours... but I have the Tori-Tori no mi: Model: Phoenix, a mythical Zoan," Yami said.

"That's pretty cool," Rand said, "well... you're stuck with me because we're all friends now."

"Knew you'd make friends!," Ago said before getting clapped on the back by Rand.

"Shut. We need to rest, so I'll see you in the morning," Rand said.

"Maybe we can show eachother our weapons, you look like you'd have a large sword," Kurai said.

"We shall compare," Rand said.

"NO FUCKING WAY!!! HOW IS YOURS BIGGER THAN MINE!!??," Kurai yelled in disbelief as his sword was still smaller than Rand's naginata.

"Better luck next time," Rand said.
