MEHENDI CEREMONY

Shehnaaz was welcomed in the field with her friends and cousins...

She sat on the middle sofa....

Everyone was laughing and enjoying, the kids were running here and there...

They were waiting for someone to bring mehendi from the groom's side..

PG : kaha reh Gaye ye

MG : call karke dekho tusi

PG was going to make a call when Rita Maa's voice was heard ....

Rita Maa : arrey bhaisaab ! Aagye hum

They met each other....
Rita maa kept her hand on Shehnaaz's head and kissed her forehead, shehnaaz smiled feeling her love !

Rita maa : bohut pyaari lag rahi hai

Riya : yrr Nani mujhe bhi toh Milne do mami se...

Riya hugged shehnaaz tightly and shehnaaz returned that hug with same intensity...

Then only Riya whispered "Mamu ne kaha ki , unhe kam miss kijiye , aur unhe miss karke unse hi gussa mat hoiye ! Vo toh bohut zidd kar rahe the aane ki , Nani ne hi permission nahi di"

Hearing this , shehnaaz was really happy , they couldn't meet but atleast he was making efforts to talk to her...

Shehnaaz whispered back "tum apne mamu se kehna unki shehnaaz chaah ke bhi unse gussa nhi reh sakti"

Riya : ohoo! Kya baat hai , kya baat hai , kya baat hai , sahi hai

Riya teased making shehnaaz blush !

PG : chalo , jaldi jaldi shuru karo , lat hojayega nahi toh...

Riya , Rita maa, MG and Zoya were sitting around Shehnaaz while the Mehendi artist was doing her work on Shehnaaz's hand...

Songs were playing , people were dancing ...

She looked around and saw PG was busy in work...

She called him and he came running

PG : hn beta bol kuch chaiye ?

SG : hn

PG : kya ? Tu bol main arrange karwata hoo

SG : mere papa ji

PG : matlab

SG : idhar aao betho bagal main...

She made him sit beside her...

SG : mam (mehendi artist) aap inko bhi laga do mehendi

MA : ji mam...

PG : arrey beta tujhe pata hai na mujhe nhi pasand ye sab

SG : yarr papa laga lo , mere liye itna toh kar hi sakte ho

Papa gill didn't say anything for the sake of his daughters happiness ....and silently applied mehendi on his hand...

Then after his mehendi , shehnaaz asked her Arjun bhaiyaa to also put on some mehendi, he also just got few strokes and dots ..

Then the focus was again on Shehnaaz...

MA : mam naam kya likhna hai ?

SG : aaa... Sidharth ! Aap ek kaam Karo aap ma jitna chupa ke likh sakte ho , utna chupa ke likho , like ek dum dikhna nhi chaiye , aadmi khoj na paaye ...

MA : okay mam

Zoya : kya bhai kya baat hai , suhaagarat ki raat kuch karna bhi hai ya sirf naam hi khojwate reh jaana hai ?

SG : shut up bro

Zoya : no bro

SG : abey yrr , ab ek baar toh karni hai shaadi ab main itna toh kar hi sakti hoon

Zoya : karo Bhai karo....

SG : hnnn...vaise Asim kaha hai ?

Zoya : abhi toh yehi tha pata nhi kaha gaya ? Usne bola kuch parcel aaya tha vahi lene Gaya hai pata nhi kaha gaya ...

They were talking more when they heard shouts , shehnaaz recognised this shout , it was her father's and her Hrithik mama's shout ....

She hurriedly got up not caring about any mehendi or stuff....

She ran towards the voice and saw Hrithik mama shouting on PG , while PG was also retreating but he was not as loud as Hrithik mama...

She could see the sweat beads forming on her father's forehead....

The ladies took both of them inside.the room along with few men...

Shehnaaz entered inside the room , and the scenarios was enought to bring tears in her eyes...

They were shooting on each other while others were trying to stop them...

Shehnaaz went towards her father and held his hand walking towards another room , PG stopped as soon as he notice shehnaaz but Hrithik mama kept on speaking , shehnaaz turned back and said "chup hojaye mama! Main kuch bol nhi Rahi hoon iska.matakb ye nhi ki aap kuch bhi bole , chup hojaye ek dum"

Everyone was shocked listening to shehnaaz's words and her tone ....
Shehnaaz was that one girl in her whole khaandan who was never rude to anyone , she never fought with anyone , she was always sweet to everyone, she never spoke about her feelings , she kept it inside ! According to them , shehnaaz could never speak like this ever !

But now listening to her , they were shocked....

Shehnaaz and PG were sitting together, no body said a word , after sometime MG entered and said...."chale ! Sab shaant hogye hai "

PG : hmmm..

MG : beta tu bhi chal , rasam aise chodni nhi chaiye bich main

SG : aap jao maaa...main aati hoon

They both left and now shehnaaz was alone sitting on the bed...

She looked at her hand , the fingertips were ruined , on the side few smudges were there....but then "SIDHARTH" was completely spotless....she smiled....and thumped herself on the bed, but instead of feeling a soft mattress under her head , she felt strong legs....

She opened her eyes and shouted "Oh Fuck!"

SS : kya hua ?

SG : Professor ,.you scared the hell out of me,

SS : did i

SG : yep!

Sidharth sat beside Shehnaaz and said "kya hua tumhe"

Shehnaaz put up a fake happy smile and said "mujhe kaha ku h hua"

SS : i know when you are lying fitoor

Shehnaaz took a deep breath and bent her head....and sniffed...

Sidharth held her face between his palms, kneeling down in front of her,....he made her face him

SS : what happened meri jaan , you can tell me sweetheart !

SG : mujhe....mujhe lag hi Raha tha how can full wedding gi without chaos....yrr matakb inhone hadh karke rakhi hai professor, unhone shaadi main hi kalesh karna hota hai , ye log sochte nhi hai bilkul bhi ....

Sidharth was going to say something when Zoya entered the room

Zoya : shehnaa... Sidharth!

SS : obviously

Zoya : wtf...you are not allowed to meet dude!

SS : as if i care !

Zoya : WTH ! Aur tu roo kis Khushi main rahi hai

Zoya say beside Shehnaaz and got her face in her hands....making Sidharth furious

Zoya : arrey yrr tu pagal hai , tuneh hai na ki indian family main koi bhi shaadi bina kalesh ke nhi hota ! Toh fir kyu faltu main ro Rahi hai .....

Saying this she hugged her.....

Zoya : chale ab mehendi baaki hai thori si abhi bhi

SG : hmm....

They both were walking when Shehnaaz walked upto Sidharth and said "Stay, till i come"

Sidharth smiled and agreed ....

They both went out to complete the rasam...

The mehendi was finally over and now it was time for shehnaaz to peel off the mehendi ....

Shehnaaz was too scared to let anyone do that !

MG : beta karne de,kuch nhi hoga

SG : nhi nhi nhi ! Maine nhi karwana aap log se , mera haath kaat doge aap log

PG : arey beta , gazab baat hai , bhaka hum kyu karenge aisa...

SG : nhi papa...maine nhi peel karwana aap log se...

Everyone tried to convince her but she didn't agree...

Teh atlast Zoya said "lagta hai Sidharth ko hi bulana padega"

PG : kya matlab

Zoya : matlab ki jab hum Satyam ke bhi shaadi main Gaye the na ,.tab bhi shehnaaz ne kisi ne nhi peel karwaya tha last main Sidharth se hi karwaya...

Everyone looked at each , after sometime they convinced themself , that yeah it's fine no problem , call him !

Rita maa called Sidharth aksed him to come ...

Sidharth was shocked with the call , he waited for sometime in the room only as he couldn't go there quickly...

Then he moved out of the back door and entered from the front gate...

Rita maa : kitni der kardi

SS : yrr mom traffic tha...

Zoya : hn hn kaffi zyada hoga

SS : hn hn kaaaaafiiii zyada

Rita maa : kya bol Rhe ho tum dono , choro vo sab, chal Sidharth tu ....

Sidharth came where everyone was standing...

He touched the feet of mumma.gill and papa gill and gave a look to Hrithik mama ....

SS : hn toh kya hua?

Rita maa : shehnaaz ki mehendi peel karni hai...kyunki---

SS : vo aap log nhi kar wa rahi thi because usko dar lag raha hai

Riya : right ....

Then everyone made him sit , have them in the proper seat, and made him sit !

Sidharth sat and took a knife and started peeling the mehendi while Shehnaaz had her eyes on him....

And others had their eyes on them , they were admiring th couple , it was very rare to witness this kind of love !
