ENGAGEMENT DAY

Papa gill with other men of the family was looking into the decorations...and arrangements

And here in the room shehnaaz was getting ready with the help of beauticians.....
And other females were sitting and discussing arrangements and things ...

SHEHNAAZ'S POV

Oh my god ! I can't believe I'm getting engaged today , that to with Professor ...
I talked to him in the morning and he was looking quite excited too...
I don't wanna say , should I say it ..?
Let me just say it! I reallyyyyyy wannaaa spend some alone time with him ! I'm missing him ...
But ye mere Khaandaan wale , mujhe akela chodd tab na...

SHEHNAAZ'S POV ENDS

Then only she was brought out of her thoughts by a voice saying "Ladke wale aagaye"

Shehnaaz looked at Zoya in nervousness and Zoya smiled at her assuring that she looks best ...

Sidharth walks up to the stage after all the welcoming rituals....
His eyes moving here and there time to time...

Riya : mamu , itni kya jaldi hai aajayegi mami , thodi apne nazre Qaboo main rakhen

SS : chup kar tu

Riya : mami ko bura nhi lagega

SS : kis cheez ka ?

Riya : ye jo itni tharki tharki ladkiyaa aapko ghur rahi hai , aur unmain se ek unki khudki badi behen bhi hai

Sidharth after listening to her , realised that Riya was right , every other girl was looking at him including Rashmi, whom he ignored with all his might

SS : chup kar tu ....bakwaas karti rehti hai

Riya was going to say further when , the music started and shehnaaz entered...

Sidharth's eyes landed on Shehnaaz...and there he was all lost in her !
She was looking so beautiful, so elegant and magical ! She was looking just like ...like his wife!

Shehnaaz didn't lift her gaze up even once....she was looking down all this while...

Sidhrth got down from the stage and went up to shehnaaz ....held her hand and brought her to the stage...

Whiel the banquet was hounding with yeh hootings of people...

Shehnaaz was blushing...while Sidharth was all in his manly attitude...

The jealousy on the girls face could be seen from a distance....

They both stood at the stage together , Sidharth didn't leave her hand , he still holding it....and shehnaaz also didint question him

Ring Ceremony

Shehnaaz and Sidharth were standung facing each other...when Riya came with the rings...

Shehnaaz was asked to him wear the ring first ....she took the ring and put it on his finger....
Claps were heard...
Now Sidharth too the ring in his hand made her wear it , kissed her knuckles...

Seeing this everyone started howling...
Shehnaaz was too shy to have the crowd so she hid her in Sidharth's chest , and Sidharth also wrapped his hands around her , kissing on her forehead ....

After the full howling and teasing stuff...

People came one by one to get a picture with both of them...

It was time for a family picture...

Shehnaaz , Sidharth and their families were standing on the either side...
Rashmi came and stood beside Sidharth
He felt a little uneasy standing beside her so he moved to Shehnaaz's side a bit more and pulled her more into him...

Rashmi was going to put her palm on hus back but , as soon as her palm was going to touch her back , she felt shehnaaz's arms ...

Shehnaaz moved her eyes behind Sidharth , and saw Rashmi's hand , she very well understood what she was trying to do

She held Rashmi's wrist tightly and gave her a death stare !
Rashmi moved her eyes down and pulled her hand back and went to the other side...

Shehnaaz took a deep breath and looked at Sidharth who was talking with the cameraman !

They all posed together !

Cameraman : Mam , aapka lehenga zara sa niche se thik kar lijiye

Mumma gill was moving forward to correct it but then Sidharth kneeled done and corrected it ....he flared it a bit more and before getting up he asked "ab thik hai?"

Cameraman: yes sir! Perfect

Looking at his this act everyone was at awww with this groom

And shehnaaz smiled at him , which he returned back to her with a wink

And there was the family picture!

FINALLY
Shehnaaz and Sidharth got some alone time , they both were sitting on the stage while others were busy !

Sidharth sat a bit more close to Shehnaaz ....and Shehnaaz didn't say anything...she was playing with her lehenga ...

SS : you are looking beautiful

SG : i know

SS : aur main

SG : thik hi lag rahe hai

SS : oh mam ! I spent hours

SG : sooo!?

Sidharth scoffed ...

Shehnaaz's eyes went on his kurta's button which were open, when she was entering she noticed how every other girl was gawking him !

SG : aapko ek baat samajh main nhi aati na

SS : kya hua ?

SG : aap chahte hai ki Mera mood kharab ho , aaj ke din bhi

SS : arrey lekin maine kiya kya

SG : ye buttons aapne apne chacha ki beti ke liye khule rakhe hai !

SS : What !

Shehnaaz raised her hands and buttoned up his buttons

SG : aap baat mat kariyega mere se

SS : areeyy yrr fitoor ,come on yrr

SG : no come on !

SS : arey mere dhyaan main nahi raha

SG : hn hn meri baatein aapni dhyaan main kyu rahengi

SS : sorry na...

SG : nhi nhi aur ang pradarshan kar lijiye

Sidharth didn't say anything just say their , cursing himself for not listening to Riya !

He could see the anger on her face ...

He tried interwining their hands , but she has made a fist...
He tried two three times but she was not ready at all !

Then he got irritated and held her wrist and opened her fist in like 5 sec !

He interwined their hands , but Shehnaaz was not folding her fingers , he made her fold her fingers using his strength ,
Her all fingers were folded but then she took out her middle finger ...
He was at first shocked but then he closed it again , and again she opened it!
He again closed it , she again opened it !
They repeated this like 10-15 times!.

And then Sidharth got irritated and put one palm between his both the palms !

Shehnaaz tried getting her hand out but it was impossible for her

At last she huffed , and let it go !
They were sitting like that only none of them were speaking a word...

After 1 hr

Shehnaaz got tired sitting in that heavy lehenga and even she was hungry !

She huffed and laid her head on Sidharth's bicep!

Sidharth looked at her face , she looked so real ..
He was really impressed by the fact that she didn't put in as much makeup as other girls do in their engagement!
He liked her as she was !

Almost everyone had taken a leave and now it was time for the family dinner...

Zoya came to call them for dinner...

Shehnaaz eagerly nodded and Sidharth walked by her looking after her lehenga

The family dinner was followed by lots of laughter , happiness , teasing , blushing and love !
